My husband & I had a great stay. Isabella and Marko are gracious & attentive hosts. Breakfasts are delicious and elegant served on a beautiful rooftop patio weather permitting. The house is beautiful and our room was spacious and comfortable. Isabella made our stay special with helpful tips and even recommended a local guide named Kitia who showed us a true Abruzzo experience. Such a lovely region with rich history, kind people and delicious wine! We highly recommend staying at Casa Isabella.

We had the most lovely stay at Casa Isabella. We were greeted warmly by Marco and Isabella. They settled us into our room and then served wine, bruschetta and ice cream on the terrace. Marco have us a wonderful local restaurant recommendation and also a couple of stops for us to visit on our drive back to Rome the next day (which we enjoyed so much!)! They have such a charming home and make you feel so comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was incredible and they sent us off with wonderful memories at Casa Isabella!!

we had a great stay at this lovely B&B. Isabella and Marco could not have been any more gracious. We arrived hungry in the aftertand our hosts were kind enough to make us a delicious lunch. Our room was gorgeous, beautiful linens, comfy pillows, and very quiet. Our breakfast the next morning, on the terrace was out of this world. Eggs and bacon, local pastries, yogurt with honey and pine nuts, fresh fruit, fresh pear juice, coffee, tea. Let’s just say we didn’t need lunch. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay for a couple more nights.

What a wonderful time spending several days with Isabella and Marco in their beautiful home. They could not have done more to make my stay comfortable, enjoyable and hospitable. They will welcome you into their home from the moment you arrive until you depart. I especially loved their delicious breakfast on the terrace! Rocca San Giovanni is very convenient to Fossacessia Marina where you can park your car, go to the beach ot rent a bike and drive the bike path to Ortona. Or even drive over to Lanciano. Cinque Stelle!!!

We had an amazing stay at beautiful Casa Isabella. The owners, Marco and Isabella, are the kindest, most warm and welcoming hosts that you will find anywhere. Upon check-in we were offered coffee, tea, wine or gelato, served on their beautiful terrace. The bed and pillows were really comfortable and the room was bright and lovely. Thoughtful touches were all around. Breakfast was incredible, the best we have had anywhere. Just an amazing experience. Wifi was great. The house is filled with antiques and dates to the early 1800s. It was owned by Isabella’s grandmother. You are close to the beach, Lanciano. and parking was close by and easy. We love Abruzzo and come every year. If you plan to be in this area, you will be very happy staying here. 5 stars all around.

La signora Isabella espone con garbo la storia della famiglia Colizzi. Le camere sono arredate splendidamente con biancheria di qualità,tutto pulitissimo. Biancheria in bagno profumata con spugne morbidissime.Bagno schiuma e shampoo di ottima qualità. Breakfast sulla terrazza: sottolineo la presentazione elegante,la qualità dei prodotti sia dolci che salati, abbondanti e estremamente varie le bevande sia calde che fredde tutte di altissima qualità. Un’esperienza unica. Marco ed Isabella sono raffinati padroni di casa attenti ad ogni dettaglio e richiesta.Ottimi i consigli per la cena e per le visite nei dintorni compresa l’azienda vinicola Frentana. From my arrival, where my hosts were waiting to welcome me at the door to carry my bags to my room, to the tour and history of the house, making dinner arrangements, coffee in my room in the morning followed by a fabulous breakfast on the terrace and right to my seeing me off at my departure, everything was flawless. I cannot say enough good things about Isa and Marco and the lengths that they went to ensure that my stay was outstanding. HIGHLY recommend this property and will find a reason to return to this quiet and charming property in an equally quiet and charming little town.

First of all, let me congratulate Isabella and Marco on providing us with the most beautiful and friendly stay at a B&B ever! From the moment we arrived until when we departed two days later, we felt as if we we were long lost Italian cugini (cousins). They welcomed us at the door and prepared us a wonderful pasta lunch which was more like a dinner in a fine restaurant. Then we were led up to a beautiful period room with a canopy bed. Every detail was lovingly selected. Breakfast out on the veranda was a magnificent affair each morning and sitting there in the evening watching the sunset over the Adriatic in the distance was a relaxing experience. I had fallen in love with their place online while looking for a town close to my mother's parents birthplace (Castel Frentano). They were also helpful in my researching for my roots. I was successful in digging up unknown information and I'm awaiting more information in early July from the Municipality of Castel Frentano on my orphaned great grandfather. Fingers crossed. We took pictures upon leaving hoping to return some day re-engaging with my 'new' famiglia - Isabella and Marco. Grazia, Michael and Cinzia.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per appena due notti ed è stato un vero peccato non potersi fermare di più. Infatti abbiamo scoperto una stupenda ed elegante dimora storica, in cui tutto è curato nel minimo dettaglio. Isabella ( l' elegante padrona di casa) ti accoglie come se fossi un familiare e ti fa sentire immediatamente a tuo agio. Marco è pieno di consigli su cosa visitare e dove mangiare nei dintorni. Com loro ci si sente come a casa. E infine, una menzione speciale la merita la colazione semplicemente spettacolare servita su una rilassante terrazza. Esperienza magnifica, speriamo da rifare. He not only prepares the most delicious and extensive breakfast imaginable, but he is also a concierge extraordinaire, with an extensive knowledge of everything to do within Abruzzo. He booked dinner reservations and made excellent recommendations on interesting things to do. She is an elegant hostess, that truly reminded us of Audrey Hepburn; warm and attentive to our every need, she made sure we had fresh towels and a tidy room every day. The sheets and bedding were exquisite. God willing, we will get to spend a few nights at the Casa Isabella again someday.

The quantitative review does not begin to reflect the quality of this Bed and Breakfast. We were greeted by Isabella and her husband Marco who told us a bit about the house and warmly welcomed us as truly welcome guests. They then escorted us to our suite & brought us out to a beautiful porch and served us a lovely Italian desert, a lemon soda (like a finely bubbled lemonade) and excellent coffee. The room had meticulous period details; the bed was comfortable and when we had to leave early to catch our plane the left us a tray with coffee in a carafe to keep it hot, yogurt, a couple of cookies and a little snack for our drive to the airport in Rome. This was an exceptional stay at a very reasonable price.

I received a warm welcome like I was family with a plate of delicious homemade pasta. The Christmas decorations were amazing, and my room was regal and spotless. Honestly, it was like a 5-star hotel quality in a small town. This family serves with their heart and it shows in their generous hospitality and joyful spirit. They were very respectful and accommodating with my travel schedule. I would highly recommend their place to everyone.

The quantitative review does not begin to reflect the quality of this Bed and Breakfast. We were greeted by Isabella and her husband Marco who told us a bit about the house and warmly welcomed us as truly welcome guests. They then escorted us to our suite & brought us out to a beautiful porch and served us a lovely Italian desert, a lemon soda (like a finely bubbled lemonade) and excellent coffee. The room had meticulous period details; the bed was comfortable and when we had to leave early to catch our plane the left us a tray with coffee in a carafe to keep it hot, yogurt, a couple of cookies and a little snack for our drive to the airport in Rome. This was an exceptional stay at a very reasonable price.

we had a great stay at this lovely B&B. Isabella and Marco could not have been any more gracious. We arrived hungry in the aftertand our hosts were kind enough to make us a delicious lunch. Our room was gorgeous, beautiful linens, comfy pillows, and very quiet. Our breakfast the next morning, on the terrace was out of this world. Eggs and bacon, local pastries, yogurt with honey and pine nuts, fresh fruit, fresh pear juice, coffee, tea. Let’s just say we didn’t need lunch. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay for a couple more nights.

We had an amazing stay at beautiful Casa Isabella. The owners, Marco and Isabella, are the kindest, most warm and welcoming hosts that you will find anywhere. Upon check-in we were offered coffee, tea, wine or gelato, served on their beautiful terrace. The bed and pillows were really comfortable and the room was bright and lovely. Thoughtful touches were all around. Breakfast was incredible, the best we have had anywhere. Just an amazing experience. Wifi was great. The house is filled with antiques and dates to the early 1800s. It was owned by Isabella’s grandmother. You are close to the beach, Lanciano. and parking was close by and easy. We love Abruzzo and come every year. If you plan to be in this area, you will be very happy staying here. 5 stars all around.

We spent 2 nights at Casa Isabella, and loved every minute. From the moment we met Isabella and Marco we felt as though we had known each other for a very long time. The hosts are such wonderful people who can't do enough to make you feel pampered like royalty. The accommodations were very comfortable, and the morning breakfasts were truly spectacular. Isabella and Marco are the most gracious, wonderful hosts and made us feel that we were the most special people in the world. First of all, let me congratulate Isabella and Marco on providing us with the most beautiful and friendly stay at a B&B ever! From the moment we arrived until when we departed two days later, we felt as if we we were long lost Italian cugini (cousins). They welcomed us at the door and prepared us a wonderful pasta lunch which was more like a dinner in a fine restaurant. Then we were led up to a beautiful period room with a canopy bed. Every detail was lovingly selected. Breakfast out on the veranda was a magnificent affair each morning and sitting there in the evening watching the sunset over the Adriatic in the distance was a relaxing experience. I had fallen in love with their place online while looking for a town close to my mother's parents birthplace (Castel Frentano). They were also helpful in my researching for my roots. I was successful in digging up unknown information and I'm awaiting more information in early July from the Municipality of Castel Frentano on my orphaned great grandfather. Fingers crossed. We took pictures upon leaving hoping to return some day re-engaging with my 'new' famiglia - Isabella and Marco. Grazia, Michael and Cinzia.

My husband & I had a great stay. Isabella and Marko are gracious & attentive hosts. Breakfasts are delicious and elegant served on a beautiful rooftop patio weather permitting. The house is beautiful and our room was spacious and comfortable. Isabella made our stay special with helpful tips and even recommended a local guide named Kitia who showed us a true Abruzzo experience. Such a lovely region with rich history, kind people and delicious wine! We highly recommend staying at Casa Isabella.

What a wonderful time spending several days with Isabella and Marco in their beautiful home. They could not have done more to make my stay comfortable, enjoyable and hospitable. They will welcome you into their home from the moment you arrive until you depart. I especially loved their delicious breakfast on the terrace! Rocca San Giovanni is very convenient to Fossacessia Marina where you can park your car, go to the beach ot rent a bike and drive the bike path to Ortona. Or even drive over to Lanciano. Cinque Stelle!!!

From my arrival, where my hosts were waiting to welcome me at the door to carry my bags to my room, to the tour and history of the house, making dinner arrangements, coffee in my room in the morning followed by a fabulous breakfast on the terrace and right to my seeing me off at my departure, everything was flawless. I cannot say enough good things about Isa and Marco and the lengths that they went to ensure that my stay was outstanding. HIGHLY recommend this property and will find a reason to return to this quiet and charming property in an equally quiet and charming little town.

Abbiamo soggiornato per una notte nella struttura Casa Isabella. Siamo stati accolti in maniera eccellente, superba direi, dalla Signora Isabella e da suo marito, i quali al nostro arrivo ci hanno preparato una deliziosa merenda di benvenuto nella splendida terrazza della struttura. Isabella, la proprietaria, denota una particolare eleganza e cortesia nell'accoglienza. Suo marito, ci ha coccolato preparando una gustosa omelette per la colazione. Location ottocentesca davvero affascinante, i proprietari due persone splendide che ci hanno coccolato dall'inizio alla fine, lasciandoci un piccolo cadeaux e uno spuntino da portare al mare...una coccola davvero piacevole. Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per appena due notti ed è stato un vero peccato non potersi fermare di più. Infatti abbiamo scoperto una stupenda ed elegante dimora storica, in cui tutto è curato nel minimo dettaglio. Isabella ( l' elegante padrona di casa) ti accoglie come se fossi un familiare e ti fa sentire immediatamente a tuo agio. Marco è pieno di consigli su cosa visitare e dove mangiare nei dintorni. Com loro ci si sente come a casa. E infine, una menzione speciale la merita la colazione semplicemente spettacolare servita su una rilassante terrazza. Esperienza magnifica, speriamo da rifare. A beautiful property located in a small, quaint town. Isabella and Marco are the perfect hosts and Isabella is so articulate in all she does. Really enjoyed our stay and the hospitality.

My husband & I had a great stay. Isabella and Marko are gracious & attentive hosts. Breakfasts are delicious and elegant served on a beautiful rooftop patio weather permitting. The house is beautiful and our room was spacious and comfortable. Isabella made our stay special with helpful tips and even recommended a local guide named Kitia who showed us a true Abruzzo experience. Such a lovely region with rich history, kind people and delicious wine! We highly recommend staying at Casa Isabella.

Casa Isabella was perfection! Elegant with old world charm, it is a must stay for anyone who is visiting the coast of the Adriatic. We could not say enough about their genuine hospitality. Isabella and Marco made us feel so welcome with their warm and generous demeanor, offering suggested places to visit, and restaurants not to be missed. Their breakfast serving was a feast for both the eyes and mouth! Do not miss this place!

What a wonderful time spending several days with Isabella and Marco in their beautiful home. They could not have done more to make my stay comfortable, enjoyable and hospitable. They will welcome you into their home from the moment you arrive until you depart. I especially loved their delicious breakfast on the terrace! Rocca San Giovanni is very convenient to Fossacessia Marina where you can park your car, go to the beach ot rent a bike and drive the bike path to Ortona. Or even drive over to Lanciano. Cinque Stelle!!!

We had an amazing stay at beautiful Casa Isabella. The owners, Marco and Isabella, are the kindest, most warm and welcoming hosts that you will find anywhere. Upon check-in we were offered coffee, tea, wine or gelato, served on their beautiful terrace. The bed and pillows were really comfortable and the room was bright and lovely. Thoughtful touches were all around. Breakfast was incredible, the best we have had anywhere. Just an amazing experience. Wifi was great. The house is filled with antiques and dates to the early 1800s. It was owned by Isabella’s grandmother. You are close to the beach, Lanciano. and parking was close by and easy. We love Abruzzo and come every year. If you plan to be in this area, you will be very happy staying here. 5 stars all around.

From my arrival, where my hosts were waiting to welcome me at the door to carry my bags to my room, to the tour and history of the house, making dinner arrangements, coffee in my room in the morning followed by a fabulous breakfast on the terrace and right to my seeing me off at my departure, everything was flawless. I cannot say enough good things about Isa and Marco and the lengths that they went to ensure that my stay was outstanding. HIGHLY recommend this property and will find a reason to return to this quiet and charming property in an equally quiet and charming little town.

Siamo stati accolti in maniera eccellente, superba direi, dalla Signora Isabella e da suo marito, i quali al nostro arrivo ci hanno preparato una deliziosa merenda di benvenuto nella splendida terrazza della struttura. Isabella, la proprietaria, denota una particolare eleganza e cortesia nell'accoglienza. Suo marito, ci ha coccolato preparando una gustosa omelette per la colazione. Location ottocentesca davvero affascinante, i proprietari due persone splendide che ci hanno coccolato dall'inizio alla fine, lasciandoci un piccolo cadeaux e uno spuntino da portare al mare...una coccola davvero piacevole. First of all, let me congratulate Isabella and Marco on providing us with the most beautiful and friendly stay at a B&B ever! From the moment we arrived until when we departed two days later, we felt as if we we were long lost Italian cugini (cousins). They welcomed us at the door and prepared us a wonderful pasta lunch which was more like a dinner in a fine restaurant. Then we were led up to a beautiful period room with a canopy bed. Every detail was lovingly selected. Breakfast out on the veranda was a magnificent affair each morning and sitting there in the evening watching the sunset over the Adriatic in the distance was a relaxing experience. I had fallen in love with their place online while looking for a town close to my mother's parents birthplace (Castel Frentano). They were also helpful in my researching for my roots. I was successful in digging up unknown information and I'm awaiting more information in early July from the Municipality of Castel Frentano on my orphaned great grandfather. Fingers crossed. We took pictures upon leaving hoping to return some day re-engaging with my 'new' famiglia - Isabella and Marco. Grazia, Michael and Cinzia.

After showing us to our beautiful rooms, they then showed us to the gorgeous patio where they treatment us to coffee, lemmon soda and cake. In the morning we got a knock on the door before breakfast with a tray of espresso and cookies. Then Isabella showed us to an amazing breakfast table setup on the balcony where Marco prepared our amzing multi course breakfast. Who knew we would love Marcos homemade carrot, apricot and orange juice. If we could give them 10 stars we would! Bellissimo!! Before leaving, Isabella presented our wives with ribbon wrapped gold key to their hearts.

Isabella and Marco are the most kind and welcoming hosts I have ever met. They treat you like family and will go over and beyond to make you feel at home. Their home is tastefully decorated and beautiful. Marco made a "small" aperitif or snack for us when we arrived. It was a full meal! He made "pallotte cacio e ova," a pizza and served it with local wine. While we were eating, Isabella insisted, "Let me make you some spaghetti so you don't have to go out in the cold for dinner." A fine dessert was provided by their son's girlfriend who made it for her baking exam. Breakfast consisted of an omelet, pastries, coffee, yogurt and freshly squeezed orange juice. If I could give a 100-star rating, I would. You get much more than you pay for at Casa Isabella, especially because of the kindness and generosity of the hosts who show that they love to entertain and to serve. we had a great stay at this lovely B&B. Isabella and Marco could not have been any more gracious. We arrived hungry in the aftertand our hosts were kind enough to make us a delicious lunch. Our room was gorgeous, beautiful linens, comfy pillows, and very quiet. Our breakfast the next morning, on the terrace was out of this world. Eggs and bacon, local pastries, yogurt with honey and pine nuts, fresh fruit, fresh pear juice, coffee, tea. Let’s just say we didn’t need lunch. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay for a couple more nights.

Isabella and Marco are the most gracious, wonderful hosts and made us feel that we were the most special people in the world. La residenza è meravigliosa, ma cio che piu abbiamo apprezzato è la gentilezza e l’accoglienza di Isabella e Marco. Una infinità di coccole, dal caffe del buongiorno in camera, alla limonata fresca all’arrivo, la buonissima colazione nella favolosa terrazza. Mooie rustieke residentie met palazzo-allures. Schitterende klassieke romantische inrichting. Isabella en Marc werken zich uit de naad voor hun gasten: geen enkele wens wordt niet vervuld! Fantsstisch vers ontbijt bij mooi weer op het buitenterras. Zeer rustige ligging. Ten zeerste aan te raden.

Casa Isabella is one of the loveliest and most welcoming B&Bs we have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, Isabella and Marco went above and beyond to make us feel completely at home. Each morning, before breakfast, coffee arrived at our room on a beautiful brass cart accompanied by a delicious pastry. In the afternoon, we were treated to homemade lemonade and ice cream. Isabella and Marco have a wonderful gift for hospitality, and it is these thoughtful details that make a stay here so special. The location is also fantastic. The town is beautiful, with excellent restaurants and wineries nearby, and the beaches of the Adriatic and the spectacular Costa dei Trabocchi are within easy reach.
