The inn was very cute and updated, and our kids loved the pool. Unfortunately, there was a wedding taking place the weekend we were there, which took up most of the staffs and facilities bandwidth. The restaurant and bar was closed both days we were there, and there was zero parking while the event was taking place. It's a lovely place but maybe they should warn other guests that amenities are not available while they are hosting events.

I was traveling due to a death in the family, and the front desk staff was so kind during my entire stay. The indoor pool is nice, but the highlight for me was the relaxing sauna.

The property is unique and welcoming, and the staff is always friendly. The one drawback for me is a lack of onsite fitness facilities; they have a partnership with a local gym that's down the street, which isn't ideal. However, I was able to just jog through the (very nice) neighborhood behind the hotel. I have stayed here multiple times over the past few years and it's always a pleasant experience.

Beautiful property. But very dated. Restaurant has inconvenient hours- closed Sunday and Monday. I had to door dash meals. Very overpriced snack/ toiletries in the shop- pool is run down with rolled installation around the pool- hot and humid - walls / ceiling panels falling off - sliding doors around the pool cracked and dirty- barrel drums and overgrown grass on other side of doors

We arrived early and inquired about checking in, told $50 fee so we decided to not check in. When returned after check-in time I was told we had to be placed in the pet wing due to maintenance issue with the room we originally booked. I wasn’t happy but I knew very limited in other options at that point. Room was decent. Probably the smallest bathroom I’ve ever seen and had musty animal smell. Pool area was fine but not at all as nice as it looks in picture. When I asked if a lot of people with pets were in the pet wing the attendant said no and that many people book that area even when they have no pets because it’s the cheaper option, however I wasn’t offered a lower price for having to be moved to that area. Overall it was fine and I would stay again if other places were not available. Very Friendly Staff!

We came in for a wedding and stayed overnight. The bathrooms are horribly small, very narrow doorways. Parking leaves a lot to be desired. Two parties arrived in a full sized pick up truck and even in the far away section, it isn't friendly. One of the clean(was supposed to be clean) hand towels had a huge wad of someone else's hair in it. Very gross when I grabbed it to dry my mouth after brushing my teeth. If you're looking for comfort, this isn't it.

The hotel has such character. It was very beautiful, clean and in a great location. The people were wonderful, they had the temperament of Disney employees (very patient and polite). The rooms were roomy, we had a deluxe, and the housekeeping was excellent.

Atmosphere of a grand, old inn, full of charm - friendly and helpful staff. Room was spacious and comfortable. Cleanliness was excellent - spotless! Very nice accommodations and great value for a night's stay while traveling.

The hotel was cute and had a European country manor vibe. Meticulously decorated, classy decor. We were there twice within a few days. My only complaint about the first room was that the showerhead was uncomfortably low (I'm a 5ft 6in woman). It made showering annoying. The second room was nice but it had a lot of wear and tear which gave it a slightly rundown feel. We did not use the pool, but I can say that it definitely does not look like the photo. It doubles as a local swim club which made the pool area look a little like the YMCA. I have two big reasons for my average review. The restaurant, while cute, had sub-standard food. It was overcooked, boring, and not tasty. Not sure how they can serve a wedge salad with blue cheese dressing but use ranch instead. It shows a lack of sophistication that we expected from the appearance of the venue. The service was good. My second complaint is that the hotel had an overwhelming scent of air freshener (like Glade plugin). I travel a lot and know that hotels have signature scents. However, this was way strong, cheap, and distracting. Even our room had one of those air fresheners. I had to put it in a drawer. The hotel is inaccessible to people with smell sensitivities. It's a shame because it really is a cute hotel. I wouldn't stay again simply because of this. I will say that Dayton at the front desk was lovely. The service, on the whole, was excellent. Just improve the food and get rid of that horrible, permeating scent.

I actually ended up leaving the hotel right after check-in. They have no food services in the mornings and no food service on Monday's. The room was very small and smelled like mildew. The front lobby receptionist was very professional and supportive. She tried to guide me to Door Dash or local food services, but without any morning services I decided to move hotels.

The inn itself is really quaint and cozy, and the staff were absolutely amazing — Dayton at the front desk was wonderful!!! :) Gavin and Erica were so sweet, and the bartender at 56 Tavern was great too. Honestly, the customer service is what stood out the most during my stay. The downside was my room. It was right above the restaurant and patio, so it was loud — I could hear the patio door opening and closing throughout the day until closing, and it even shook the walls. The hotel was fully booked with two weddings, so switching rooms wasn’t an option. On top of that, the tub stopper didn’t work, the fridge froze my food & bottled waters & the room could have been cleaner (there was dust on the nightstands and a spider web on the ceiling), and the overall quality of the room didn’t feel like it matched the price I paid for it. Excellent facility ina safe and quiet environment. The staff was kind and helpful. The King room was small, but clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed and no breakfast was offered. However, there are many options close to the hotel. Highly recommended.

It is historic inn, 98 years old. Neat pictures in the hallway. Very nice dining room. The rooms are average in decor and amenities. The window HVAC was too noisy (March heating). Mattress and bedding were good.

This is an old inn and each room is different so other folks may have a totally different experience. My room, #73, was quite small, suitable for only 1 person. There was no chair, light or electrical receptacles by the desk area. There were also no USB plug ins in the room. There is also no elevator so if you can’t negotiate steps, request a first floor room. On the plus side, the Inn is charming, the staff friendly and helpful, and there is an excellent restaurant attached to the Inn. They accept pets and have a special area for guests with pets so you are unlikely to have a barking dog in your next door room.

The only thing we didn’t like was there was no microwave in the room. But the inn is set up more like a BnB. Plus my husband and I are so laid back it really isn’t a deal breaker for us at all. 10 out of 10 would come back. Next time we’ll do the deluxe room!

Our room was falling apart… the rail under the sink was just set in holes in the wall our toddler could pull out. There is no vent in the bathroom and a barn style door. After showering it’s muggy all day in the room. My wife tried using the shampoo in the shower… it was body wash. Ceiling is starting to sag where the curtains are hung. We booked a deluxe room and nothing about it was deluxe. No microwave in the room either. There is a decorative piece on the bed head board that is supposed to screw in… doesn’t screw anymore so another issue with a toddler. Overall really poor quality room. Baseboards were really scuffed and dirty which makes me wonder about the true cleanliness of the room… Staff is nice but the room was really disappointing and not “deluxe” at all.

When we arrived, we brought all of our luggage in with us, only to be told we needed to go around the block. The valet could have told us not to bring in all of our luggage. Then we had some difficulty finding the entrance, as there was no signage. The rooms need better soundproofing. We could hear the other guests around us. It’s a lovely town, and the staff were friendly.

This was a mixed experience for me. The inn itself is really quaint and cozy, and the staff were absolutely amazing — Dayton at the front desk was wonderful!!! :) Gavin and Erica were so sweet, and the bartender at 56 Tavern was great too. Possibly the most surreal exchanges we’ve had with a hotel desk clerk ever. She wasn’t able to give directions, had no restaurant recommendations and couldn’t even be bothered to find out the hours of the hotel’s restaurant. We found it overpriced and underwhelming.

My parents, now gone, lived in this area so, we have used Aurora Inn in our family for years. Check-in and out was so easy. We were going to a Guardians game with family, some living in Aurora, and were hoping to check in one hour early. My husband was told $50. up-charge! I would rather have staff tell us 'sorry, but we are unable to do that today'. My sister asked for a late checkout and told an up-charge also. Price for room is already at higher end so, with this I will book elsewhere in the future. We came back at 10pm to check in after being in downtown Cleveland.

The hotel was cute and had a European country manor vibe. Meticulously decorated, classy decor. We were there twice within a few days. My only complaint about the first room was that the showerhead was uncomfortably low (I'm a 5ft 6in woman). It made showering annoying. The second room was nice but it had a lot of wear and tear which gave it a slightly rundown feel. We did not use the pool, but I can say that it definitely does not look like the photo. It doubles as a local swim club which made the pool area look a little like the YMCA. I have two big reasons for my average review. The restaurant, while cute, had sub-standard food. It was overcooked, boring, and not tasty. Not sure how they can serve a wedge salad with blue cheese dressing but use ranch instead. It shows a lack of sophistication that we expected from the appearance of the venue. The service was good. My second complaint is that the hotel had an overwhelming scent of air freshener (like Glade plugin). I travel a lot and know that hotels have signature scents. However, this was way strong, cheap, and distracting. Even our room had one of those air fresheners. I had to put it in a drawer. The hotel is inaccessible to people with smell sensitivities. The only reason I couldn’t give it 5 stars was because upon arrival I was informed the on-site restaurant was closed for an indeterminate time. My understanding was some dispute among between the Inn owner and the operator of the restaurant. Ok, things happen. But they should have emailed me ahead of time to let me know. One of the reason I booked this hotel was that it had on-site food service and I wouldn’t have to go elsewhere for meals. An advance warning was in order so that I could make other arrangements.

I actually ended up leaving the hotel right after check-in. They have no food services in the mornings and no food service on Monday's. The room was very small and smelled like mildew. The front lobby receptionist was very professional and supportive. She tried to guide me to Door Dash or local food services, but without any morning services I decided to move hotels.

This is an old hotel that needs updating. I got the sense it didn't get a lot of traffic. there literally was dust on the side tables next to the bed. Bed was not very comfortable. I'm glad we were only booked for one night. Would not return.

Room was very dirty. Unknown hair, dust, grime, and ?black mold in the bathroom were a bit much. No consistency in beds, one queen bed was soft, the other firm. I will say, the pillows were amazing. AC didn't work. I was told they reset it, but still didn't work for the second night. Tried to swim in the pool. They sell swim memberships to locals so the pool was a bit crowded. The older folk who were lap swimming didn't want bothered by hotel guests and were very rude and unaccomodating. To the fact that one yelled at another guest for being in "his lane" when the guest was also lap swimming. The "locker room" had articles of clothing everywhere. Felt like I was at an unfriendly public pool. The firepit looked beautiful nice, but no fire?? To sum it up...miserable nights sleeping and half-usable amenities did not make my stay worth it
