Great hotel , modern , great working spa facilities. If there was any comment maybe on weekends breakfast could be extended until 10.30 ? Just in spa for an hour , time you are out and changed it left no time for breakfast

The hotel was very comfortable with friendly staff. Just be aware that a section of the hotel isn't serviced by a lift. We had two flights of stairs to climb. Our bags were brought up and carried down.

Bed soft small and uncomfortable. Very noisy extraction fan outside bedroom window. On check in immediately asked to switch rooms but was told it actually goes off overnight at the latest 9.3i0. It went off at 9.45 only to start up at 4.am.

Bed was extremely hard. Duvet heavy with no alternative sheet. Shower water pressure was weak. No hand or shower gel until we complained. No fridge in the room for my insulin… I am diabetic and requested a room with fridge for my insulin as I was afraid of going into a hyperglycaemic coma if my insulin became ineffective for not being refrigerated! I had to ask Reception to put in their office fridge at 8pm - it had been at room temperature for 8 hours! As a nurse for many years I asked the Deputy Night Manager if staff were trained if a client went into a diabetic coma, he was not sure and would have to read up on the subject?? We also had to pay to use the pool and Spa because we did not book directly with the hotel? It was good there was a pool, however, it was not very large for the amount of clientele, and the water was quite cold. Sauna was good but very small… Only two people could squeeze in? Steam room was a good size, but the Jacuzzi was very small and only allowed 4 people at a push - and the amount of chlorine made one’s eyes sting. There was no lift to our landing only stairs. I had previously stated I was recovering from left total knee replacement and diabetic! Hotel is described as ‘3 stars’ - however, this is debatable?? When I complained to the Hotel Manager (Kate) regarding these issues, although she apologised, and thanked me for bringing it to her attention, she offered no compensation or gesture of good faith? Guests were elderly so don’t complain?

Overall we found the hotel was really clean any comfortable. Very convenient to the beach and a good car parking. The only slight grumble I have, is the price of drinks £22 for two glasses of wine I thought a bit steep. Could be me not used to paying that. But a pleasant stay and a good Breakfast, what more could you ask for
