Excellent property to stay in a quieter part of Bali, but still 30min away from the airport. Nice a friendly staff. Good food, Spa, Gum and lovely villas. We will definitely come back.

It’s the staff at a hotel / resort that make a good stay, great. To everyone at The Balé… from Beny the head chef, to Yanick the GM, the amazing drivers that ran us around Nusa Dua (and helped negotiate best entry into the beach clubs) through to the owner himself making introductions, we would recommend The Balé to anyone wanting an intimate, enjoyable adults-only experience in Nusa Dua. (Plus, the main pool is delightful!) thanks again!

Our stay at The Bale Nusa Dua was absolutely unforgettable! The best thing about this property is without a doubt the staff—they go above and beyond to make you feel not only welcome but truly part of the family. The property itself is sleek and contemporary, with an intimate and exclusive feel. The private pool villas are exceptional—romantic, quiet, and incredibly memorable. We especially loved the relaxing outdoor bed beside the private pool, which was the perfect spot to unwind. The breakfast experience was outstanding. You can choose to dine at the restaurant or in your villa, which is a wonderful touch. We opted for the “floating breakfast” in our private pool—an experience we’ll never forget! Two staff members who truly stood out were Kiki and Bayu, both of whom went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their warmth and attentiveness made our trip so special. The property also offers a free shuttle service within the local area, bookable through an app, which made it very convenient for us to explore, shop, and dine locally. The spa and gym facilities are top-notch as well, adding to the luxury of the stay. Overall, The Bale Nusa Dua is ideal for a romantic getaway. We booked to stay 4 nights at the Bale for some relaxation and to play a couple of days of golf. From the minute we arrived we were treated to the most attentive service. We were helped to download an app which allowed us to communicate with staff 24/7 and they were always so prompt. They recommended restaurants at our request and booked all transport for us. The Villa itself (Villa 33) was spacious and beautiful. It had a pool, outdoor day bed, coffee machine, gorgeous bath tub with tv, outdoor and indoor shower (we only used the outdoor shower in the garden), the bed was soooo comfortable. Large TV in the main room and stereo system, AND it was so peaceful, we didn't hear another soul, only birds and frogs. We ate at Faces Restaurant and also had two breakfasts there which were delicious, would totally recommend. Staff were so attentive. On day 2 we had a family emergency and had cut our stay short to fly home. Everyone was so helpful in cancelling all our bookings and making it as easy as possible for us. We will be definitely be returning to The Bale but next time for longer. I would definitely recommend this retreat to anyone wanting an adults only escape with 5 star service and accomodation.

Even before we arrived the resort was helping us organise our stay. The staff certainly make this resort. They are clearly very proud and have every reason to be. We stayed in a double pavilion with friends, we had a great space to spend time together and enough privacy for times in between. The private pool was huge. The spa was excellent, the treatments were amazing. Do yourself a favour and book something, anything! The use of the resort car for local trips is genius and made things very easy. The restaurant was able to adapt to our dietary requirements and even went off menu for us. Adults only meant peace and quiet. Highly recommended.

The villas are very clean and spacious with your own private pool, not to mention a full sized covered day bed. The Balé has their own vehicle/driver, for which they are very accommodating if you need an airport transfer or ride within the Nusa Dua area. Staff redefine hospitality from friendly to TALENTED. The housekeeping, front desk, kitchen and management were like nothing I've ever experienced before. We felt at home! The photos don't do this beautiful property justice. Easily one of the top properties in Bali, amazing value.

Amazing service and very helpful and friendly. Love the app and communicating via the app to arrange things! It’s amazing. However the condition of the result seems quite worn and needs some investment to bring it upto a standard to compare with other resorts we been to during our stay!

I’ve stayed at the Bale a few times and the private villas and pool are a great concept but it’s getting very tired. Last visit there were boards lifting in my suite (trip hazard), the internet didn’t work for half of my stay and for $600 per. night AUD that’s not acceptable. The breakfast is lovely but room service is a classic case of the menu doesn’t match the product when a premium price is being charged. Sadly the bigger chains look much better value for the price v quality.

部屋が広々していて、快適に過ごすことができました。スタッフの方々にも親切に対応していただきました。 宿泊者数が少ないので、ホテルのレストランのバリエーションやパブリックスペースは少ないですね。 部屋でゆっくりしたい方には合いますけど、広いホテルの庭を楽しみたいとか、メインプールを楽しみたい方は少し合わないかもしれません。

Best holiday ever. It was so relaxing and all of our needs were met. The spa, which we used a lot, was superb. The ladies so friendly, attentive and excellent at their job. All members of the staff were friendly and helpful without exception. Our accommodation was so opulent, we felt like millionaires. Such a great private villa. The food was so good and we cant wait to return next year. Thank you.

We booked to stay 4 nights at the Bale for some relaxation and to play a couple of days of golf. From the minute we arrived we were treated to the most attentive service. We were helped to download an app which allowed us to communicate with staff 24/7 and they were always so prompt. They recommended restaurants at our request and booked all transport for us. The Villa itself (Villa 33) was spacious and beautiful. It had a pool, outdoor day bed, coffee machine, gorgeous bath tub with tv, outdoor and indoor shower (we only used the outdoor shower in the garden), the bed was soooo comfortable. Large TV in the main room and stereo system, AND it was so peaceful, we didn't hear another soul, only birds and frogs. We ate at Faces Restaurant and also had two breakfasts there which were delicious, would totally recommend. Staff were so attentive. On day 2 we had a family emergency and had cut our stay short to fly home. Everyone was so helpful in cancelling all our bookings and making it as easy as possible for us. We will be definitely be returning to The Bale but next time for longer. I would definitely recommend this retreat to anyone wanting an adults only escape with 5 star service and accomodation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Balé. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The property itself is truly amazing. The villas are very clean and spacious with your own private pool, not to mention a full sized covered day bed. The Balé has their own vehicle/driver, for which they are very accommodating if you need an airport transfer or ride within the Nusa Dua area. Upon arrival the staff will assist you in down loading an app enabling everything to be at your finger tip for arranging room service, tours, transport, spa treatments, or to contact reception if away from the villas. I’ve stayed at the Bale a few times and the private villas and pool are a great concept but it’s getting very tired. Last visit there were boards lifting in my suite (trip hazard), the internet didn’t work for half of my stay and for $600 per. night AUD that’s not acceptable. The breakfast is lovely but room service is a classic case of the menu doesn’t match the product when a premium price is being charged. Sadly the bigger chains look much better value for the price v quality.

Even before we arrived the resort was helping us organise our stay. The staff certainly make this resort. They are clearly very proud and have every reason to be. We stayed in a double pavilion with friends, we had a great space to spend time together and enough privacy for times in between. The private pool was huge. The spa was excellent, the treatments were amazing. Do yourself a favour and book something, anything! The use of the resort car for local trips is genius and made things very easy. The restaurant was able to adapt to our dietary requirements and even went off menu for us. Adults only meant peace and quiet. Highly recommended.

To everyone at The Balé… from Beny the head chef, to Yanick the GM, the amazing drivers that ran us around Nusa Dua (and helped negotiate best entry into the beach clubs) through to the owner himself making introductions, we would recommend The Balé to anyone wanting an intimate, enjoyable adults-only experience in Nusa Dua. (Plus, the main pool is delightful!) thanks again!

Our stay at The Bale Nusa Dua was absolutely unforgettable! The best thing about this property is without a doubt the staff—they go above and beyond to make you feel not only welcome but truly part of the family. The property itself is sleek and contemporary, with an intimate and exclusive feel. The private pool villas are exceptional—romantic, quiet, and incredibly memorable. We especially loved the relaxing outdoor bed beside the private pool, which was the perfect spot to unwind. The breakfast experience was outstanding. You can choose to dine at the restaurant or in your villa, which is a wonderful touch. We opted for the “floating breakfast” in our private pool—an experience we’ll never forget! Two staff members who truly stood out were Kiki and Bayu, both of whom went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their warmth and attentiveness made our trip so special. The property also offers a free shuttle service within the local area, bookable through an app, which made it very convenient for us to explore, shop, and dine locally. The spa and gym facilities are top-notch as well, adding to the luxury of the stay. Overall, The Bale Nusa Dua is ideal for a romantic getaway. Because it’s not a massive property, the attention and service you receive are incredibly personal and first-class. Highly recommended—and thank you to the entire team for the beautiful memories!

We booked to stay 4 nights at the Bale for some relaxation and to play a couple of days of golf. From the minute we arrived we were treated to the most attentive service. We were helped to download an app which allowed us to communicate with staff 24/7 and they were always so prompt. They recommended restaurants at our request and booked all transport for us. The Villa itself (Villa 33) was spacious and beautiful. It had a pool, outdoor day bed, coffee machine, gorgeous bath tub with tv, outdoor and indoor shower (we only used the outdoor shower in the garden), the bed was soooo comfortable. Large TV in the main room and stereo system, AND it was so peaceful, we didn't hear another soul, only birds and frogs. We ate at Faces Restaurant and also had two breakfasts there which were delicious, would totally recommend. Staff were so attentive. On day 2 we had a family emergency and had cut our stay short to fly home. Everyone was so helpful in cancelling all our bookings and making it as easy as possible for us. We will be definitely be returning to The Bale but next time for longer. I would definitely recommend this retreat to anyone wanting an adults only escape with 5 star service and accomodation.

Where do I start! First, let me start by saying the staff were amazing! Anything you need, just let them know; they are overly accommodating! This trip was a birthday trip for my other half so I booked the flower bath and had them bring a cake to our room. Not only did they make sure everything had gone smooth, they sung Happy Birthday as they delivered the cake. He was head over hills, lol! The floating breakfast was also amazing! Decent food, too! Next!!! The room is GORGEOUS!!!! The way you enter the room is flawless. Nevertheless, I felt like a king entering his palace as I walked in. The private pool was everything! I just can’t get enough of this place. Let me just say, this is home! No one else can have my business.

I’ve stayed at the Bale a few times and the private villas and pool are a great concept but it’s getting very tired. Last visit there were boards lifting in my suite (trip hazard), the internet didn’t work for half of my stay and for $600 per. night AUD that’s not acceptable. The breakfast is lovely but room service is a classic case of the menu doesn’t match the product when a premium price is being charged. Sadly the bigger chains look much better value for the price v quality.

The hotel was very clean and our 2 apt complex lovely. What I would note is the bright light from the streetlight outside our villa shone straight onto my pillow which meant I couldn’t sleep on that side. Also there is a large building site next door, which wasn’t noisy other than the odd truck going up and down - we hadn’t been told about the building works. But it was ok for us though it may get busier. Staff very helpful and lovely. Free shuttle to run you around Nusa Dua which was great. Beach club was nice. Breakfast and dinner was delicious and dinner was reasonably priced compared to the rest of Nusa Dua. Over all beautiful accommodation and service.

My wife and I stayed at The Bale for two weeks in June 2026. I can honestly say it was one of the best vacations we’ve had and its in large part due to our stay at The Bale. As background, my wife and I primarily look for relaxation on our vacations over a plethora of excursions and sightseeing. Bali was beautiful and the excursions were great but this review is solely about our stay at The Bale. As mentioned, our primary goal on vacation is to relax so where we stay is paramount in whether our stay is good or not. If you are looking to relax and be pampered, then The Bale is perfect. There are only 30 or so units and its adult only so it was very tranquil and quiet during our stay. The room we stayed in (One Bedroom Deluxe) was incredible. The room was clean and very well kept. The staff cleaned it daily and provided turn down service at night. The private pool was a terrific addition as I often woke up, hit the gym and came back to the room to shower and hit the gym. Speaking of the shower, the outdoor shower was a huge favorite of my wife and me. The butler service (and service in general) provided was exceptional. The staff provided amenities, room service, arranged excursions for us, arranged transportation throughout Bali and answered ordinary questions all through the app. The staff was very quick to respond to inquiries/requests through the app, which was nice. Was uns gefallen hat?? Einfach alles! Wir sind behandelt worden wie Könige, wir haben gegessen vom feinsten, wir habe die Sauberkeit genossen, wir sind überall hin gefahren und man hat uns einfach zugehört!!! Ein tolles Gefühl über die ganze Zeit!! Die Küche war ein Erlebnis!! Die Bedienung mehr als freundlich!!! Wir träumen davon dieses Hotel nochmal besuchen zu dürfen!!! Danke an alle!!!
