As a relatively new hotel, I would of thought it would of been in better condition. Maybe we received a "lower tiered" room because we booked thru a 3rd party. I don\'t know. But when we arrived, the front desk agent was great. The lobby looked clean and inviting. The elevator ride sounded like the speaker was blown as the "dings" of each floor passed was loud and obnoxious. Thankfully the key worked went we got to our room as we got sent up to the 4th floor. The room at first appeared clean, but upon turning on the lights, we noticed that the "wall decor" behind the TV was peeling off, the face plate of the alarm clock was missing, the coffee table was quite scratched up, the couch was sagging and uncomfortable, and the main light in the bathroom was out. But I think the worst 2 things in the room was the HORRENDOUS coffee the hotel provides and that the bathroom sink would back up (to the point of almost over-flowing) when you would wash your hands or brush your teeth. And it would take 10-15 minutes to drain! I wont be staying at this hotel again.

The room itself was clean and comfortable. The hallways and lobby smelled HORRIBLY of cat urine or some ammonia smell. It made getting to our rooms a very unpleasant experience as we had to hold our breath. We traveled as a family and reserved 4 rooms total and all of the rooms were clean and stench free but every member of our party mentioned the cat pee smell without prompting. I would not stay here again due to the smell alone

The check-in agent offered no directions toward my room nor were there signs visible from the check-in counter. It took a bit of wandering around to find my room. The Daikin HVAC thermostat remote was difficult to use; no instructions were available. As a result, temp control was difficult. The shower was moldy; the shower curtain rod was broken; water easily got by the curtain and covered the floor. In the ceiling, electrical wires dangled from where something formerly resided. Desk cabinet drawers would not stay closed. Lamp lighting was bright white, as was the bathroom lighting. There was no thought to ambience. The microwave turntable did not rotate. The hallway walls need repair and repainting with the many gouges present. The TV and the remote worked well. The bed was comfortable. Overall, I would not stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay. It’s right across the street from the hospital, and the beds are big and comfy. The AC and fridge were both ice cold, and the free breakfast is AMAZING. Free coffee in lobby 24/7, and a nice selection of snacks at the front desk. Safe parking, lots of street lights. I will definitely stay here whenever I’m in college station.

The rooms were clean and stuff was very attentive. The condition of the hotel overall was good, the complex is in need of some cosmetic maintenance, some walls are scratch up in the halls, bad caulking work in bathroom make the place look not so good.

We stay here quite often and we visit our granddaughter at the university. The price is right the rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is very good. The lady who does the breakfast is very accommodating. The only thing I noticed this time that would be a negative as I need some new furniture in their lobby because it is an impression of being rundown which the rooms are not that way.

The staff were very nice. The hotel building exterior is in need of repair. The facade is starting to fall off. Maintenance seems to be behind on taking care of basic wear and tear on the interior. The cleanliness was not up to par (all minor) of previous visits to this hotel.
