Can't beat the price. Room was clean and it was a place to sleep. Highway noise is not a problem when the AC unit cuts on. Bed was firm but not uncomfortable, just don't expect a pillowtop. Staff was friendly. I would stay again if I needed to. It's not fancy but it looks as doable. The Claredon Grill across the street had probably one of the best cheeseburgers I have ever had! That was a pleasant surprise for a gas station/convenience store diner. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

This property is right on the highway so you here every truck, every car that goes by. The bathtub faucet leaked all the time. Paint was coming off the walls. It is a motel, so you drive right up to the door of your room. No coffee in the rooms. The lobby smelled like gasoline or turpentine. There is a sign that says you can't walk your dogs on the grass and there is no other grass around the property. The front end receptionist allowed us to anyway as long as we picked up after the dog. This is an old-school vintage motor lodge to stop at for the night. Nothing fancy at all but perfectly adequate to get a good night's sleep. There are two options in Clarendon and the other one I'm sure is much more modern and corporate-chain comfortable, but it's twice the price so I will always choose this option when I stop here overnight.

Modest motel at a fair price. Adjacent to highway with lots of truck traffic, noisy if you're a light sleeper. Single shower but good water pressure and lots of hot water. Overall it was about what I expected for the price, reasonable place to stay.

Older but just fine. Had an issue with the bathroom sink faucet. It was loose and could only get slightly warm water from it. No big deal. I notified staff when I checked out. Room was clean and neat.

Floor was sticky, shower needed to be cleaned again, outlets in room not working so hostess brought a ln extension cord and moved the bed over to expose a plug (bug it was loose so i had to prop a chair against the cord so it would stay plugged in). Was locked out of my room in the morning but hostess came righr away when i rang the doorbell. She said that if it gets close to my cell phone it magnetizes ...which would have been nice to know when checking in the day before.

I understand this is a modest motel in a rural location. The noise from the highway was considerable. My bed vibrated and made noise all night long and I could not figure out how to turn it off. The window unit heater was fierce and the room was more comfortable without it. The shower is very short and the towels are much too small for a large man. I appreciate the price but this hotel is rated much too high online and the high rating is false and wrong.

The motel is old but is under new ownership. They are renovating all the rooms and the property. The rooms are very clean and the staff helpful. This is a good 1 night stop over for now. It should be much better when renovations are complete.

It’s ok for just an overnight stay. But it’s very dated, has the “old” motel smell. No coffee maker in the room. Would not want to shower - old & grungy bathroom.

Okay- I cannot give this a good rating and generally I am pretty generous or forgiving- Good things- It was $69 total. Like the ease of access Most of the bath is completely renovated- except the shower floor Things that will keep me from returning: 1- door felt completely insecure - see pic 2 - the colors are terrible - see pic. 3- sheets were new but the blankets in the bed looked to be old 4- air conditioning unit is the old loud kind, that cools marginally 4- took a shower didn’t have my flip flops, when I dried my leg, I put my leg in the bed to dry my calves and I left a foot print on the white sheet - no idea where the dirt came from - either the shower floor or the room floor 5 - there was one chair in the room that was so stained I didn’t dare sit in it. So in this case- I got what I paid for but I won’t pay it again. I will pay a bit more and sleep easy.

It is an older motel, but dont let that fool you! The owners are a very sweet couple, they are in the process of doing renovations, so there is work going on. The room was extremely clean, reasonably priced, the beds were comfortable and the owners were were very sweet and very accomodating.

For the age of this place, it’s very clean and very nice and I personally enjoyed the old-school style. Staff is very friendly.

Old 50's motel, which I really like if its kept up. Not very clean; only cleaned the middle of the room, not behind or under anything.Remote didnt work, the biggy was NO TOILET PAPER! Owners were very nice, beds comfortable for an overnight sleep

This was like sleeping on the median strip of the highway. You could hear every car passing on the 4-lane highway. We were 3 rooms away. That noise was only exceeded by the window/wall A/C unit that came on every 5 minutes. The owners need to understand to fill up the room furthest from the highway where it might be quieter and where their living quarters are. I felt sorry for the guy they put right next to the highway. Maybe they need to insulate the rooms better to keep the sound out. There was a dead spider in the tub and dust bunnies fell out of the vent over the sink when I turned the light on. I had to bend over to wash my hair in the shower because the shower head was so low and I'm only 5'2". I would never ever stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
This was like sleeping on the median strip of the highway. You could hear every car passing on the 4-lane highway. We were 3 rooms away. That noise was only exceeded by the window/wall A/C unit that came on every 5 minutes. The owners need to understand to fill up the room furthest from the highway where it might be quieter and where their living quarters are. I felt sorry for the guy they put right next to the highway. Maybe they need to insulate the rooms better to keep the sound out. There was a dead spider in the tub and dust bunnies fell out of the vent over the sink when I turned the light on. The owners were very nice but the room was pretty run down. It was fairly clean. Our room was right next to the busy highway with very loud traffic noise.

It was okay for a one night stay, but don't expect to take a shower. Also, the highway makes a lot of noise. I can sleep through everything, do it wasn't an issue for me, but if you're a light sleeper, your probably better off drinking too Amarillo.

This is an old-school vintage motor lodge to stop at for the night. Nothing fancy at all but perfectly adequate to get a good night's sleep. There are two options in Clarendon and the other one I'm sure is much more modern and corporate-chain comfortable, but it's twice the price so I will always choose this option when I stop here overnight.

Modest motel at a fair price. Adjacent to highway with lots of truck traffic, noisy if you're a light sleeper. Single shower but good water pressure and lots of hot water. Overall it was about what I expected for the price, reasonable place to stay.

Can't beat the price. Room was clean and it was a place to sleep. Highway noise is not a problem when the AC unit cuts on. Bed was firm but not uncomfortable, just don't expect a pillowtop. Staff was friendly. I would stay again if I needed to. It's not fancy but it looks as doable. The Claredon Grill across the street had probably one of the best cheeseburgers I have ever had! That was a pleasant surprise for a gas station/convenience store diner. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

This place is a dive, if BW next door doesn’t have rooms your only other choice is here, and they clearly know that. Room had sand on the floors, tiles falling off the bathroom wall at the floor level behind toilet with who knows what able to crawl in, room absolutely reeked of urine. Shower was so filthy we didn’t dare to enter it. No breakfast, no nothing, will never even think about this place again.

I would never stay there again the light switches didn't work, the A/C stayed on high room was to cold. The room is 10 feet from the Highway and trucks up and down the street all night. The cold water side from the sink didn't work only the Hot. Worst place I've ever been in.

The lady is super sweet that works there. The rooms smell of smoke just a tad bit. The outside might concern you a little but the rooms are very well maintained and pretty. Everything was clean and well kept when I arrived. We were also late checking out and she was very understanding and very sweet. The air conditioning does take a minute to cool the room. But overall it was a great time.

Felt more like a $32 motel. Stain on the sheets, inferior lock, taped up remote, wall socket without cover and a weird obnoxious cleaning product odor. I pushed the cafeteria style chair under the doorknob for some security. Curtains were hanging off the rod. Just try getting help from hotels.com, impossible! It is convenient for my road trips, but I will never even think of staying there again. Plus an unexpected surcharge for credit cards.

The hotel is so outdated, the lobby smelled like mold, our room was like something from the 1960’s, our room was full of flies because the cleaning staff cleaned the room while the door was wide open. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. We didn’t even stay the night. We left after about thirty minutes and went down the road to the Best Western.
