Skyliner Motel

This Skyliner zmotel was a great little motel to stay on for Route 66. The hotel was actually probably one of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in while traveling. The only complaint I have was the internet. It kept going in and out and it affected the t.v. as well. Other than that, it was great.

Nice little motel right on Route 66. Older property, but updated. Small rooms, but enough space for my solo travel needs. Nice restaurant around corner and convenience shop across street.

Cody was fantastic and incredibly helpful. We especially appreciated the time he took to share the history behind the motel’s restoration, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was comfortable, and we absolutely loved the shower. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this motel to others.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Skyliner Motel was one of the highlights of our Route 66 adventure. If you’re looking for an authentic Mother Road experience, this is the place. The room was spotless, comfortable, and full of vintage charm while still offering all the modern comforts you need after a long day on the road. It’s obvious the owners take tremendous pride in the property. What truly sets the Skyliner apart is the hospitality. We were welcomed like old friends, given great Route 66 recommendations, and made to feel right at home from the moment we arrived. If your travels bring you through Stroud, do yourself a favor and stay here. It’s more than just a motel—it’s a genuine piece of Route 66 history and an experience in itself. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone traveling the Mother Road.
