Our Gion Koh stay was such a wonderful experience! It has a beautiful traditional Japanese atmosphere, with a peaceful garden that makes you feel connected to Kyoto’s culture and charm. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city. Most of all, Hiro was incredibly welcoming and friendly. A lovely place to stay if you want to experience a more authentic side of Kyoto. Highly recommended!

Hyro, the owner, was exceptionally kind and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Hyro's warmth and dedication to his guests made this stay unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend Gion Koh to anyone.

We loved the mood at Gion Koh. It was full of original character, antiques and quiet jazz. We felt like very welcome guests to a family home. Guests' every comfort has been considered. The location is very handy to everything.
