Excellent hosts, immaculately presented, spacious rooms and plenty of communal space to relax in, what's not to like? Creston Villa is the antithesis of chain hotels and will be the first place I look at when I next head for Lincoln.

Stopped at Creston Villa in September 2025. Lovely hosts, spotlessly clean room and very comfortable bed. Served a filling, continental breakfast with several home-made offerings. On-street parking was plentiful close to the building. Would certainly recommend.

We booked the Victorian room for Saturday night stay at short notice just a short time before we arrived. We was immediately sent a welcoming text message with details of where to park and when our earliest check in would be The Host, Iain greeted us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. The bedroom was very clean, comfortable and fresh. There was plenty of refreshments and snacks available for our stay. We parked on the street nearby and it was a 20 minute walk in to the City. In the morning we were greeted by our hosts, Iain & Ann. There was a large selection breakfast items on offer which was more than ample for us. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend the guest house to friends and family. Iain & Ann are a lovely, friendly couple who provide a first class service.

Had a lovely one night stop in Lincoln for a black tie event. I chose Creston Villa as it was within walking distance to the event. The welcome from Iain was exceptional showing me the facilities available, then my room. The room was comfortable with plenty of hot water from the shower. Tea and coffee was available both in the room and kitchen/dining area. After a good night sleep breakfast was continental with an assortment of cheeses and meats along with fresh fruit and yoghurt. There were also homemade brownies and cookies.

Iain and Anna will make you feel part of the family on arrival. You have access to the kitchen and dining area at all times meaning you don't have to stay in your room; although your room will also feel like home given all the special little touches and additions located within. My new go to location whenever close to Lincoln

The owners have clearly put thought and love into this guesthouse. It's practical with everything you need, and the amenities are high quality (good hairdryer, super-soft bedding, nice range of teas and homemade snacks). It's also pleasantly quirky with interesting decor. I smoke and especially appreciated the patio area with the amazing ornaments. The house is also spotless (and I mean, spotless!) but not the sort of place where you feel constrained by that. On the contrary, the owners, Iain and Anna, are warm, friendly, and engaging with a good sense of humour. They make you feel relaxed, welcome, and "at home". I really appreciated the snacks that catered to my dietary requirements - very thoughtful. The care from the owners and attention to detail all makes for a great atmosphere where I think anyone would feel very comfortable staying. Highly recommended. Thanks for your hospitality!

Wonderful hosts that could not do enough for you. Accommodation was great with cosy room and quality bedding. Complimentary cookies and cakes in the dining area. Definitely will stay again if I’m in Lincoln again

Check in was great and property owners are fantastic. On site parking is not available so you have to use surrounding roads. This requires parking on pavements a short distance away which is not convenient and very annoying in places as the vehicles on the pavements did not leave enough room for cases to get tthrough. Room we had was on the first landing facing the road. Was very noisy at night with a lot of Ambulance traffic. The bathroom was not directly connected to the room but located on the landing outside so was not convenient to use at night. Shower was also on the small side. I would recommend having a rear room if staying here. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Location is close to town but not really walkable.

This was an experience not to be missed. Our hosts, Anna and Ian made us welcome in their home and we enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The breakfast was as good as we would ever expect. The room was perfect and we had the luxury of their lounge and garden to use. A very professional pair and they are very good at what they do and provide. 11 out oof 10 on all counts. Superb.

Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Very friendly hosts Anna and Iain. They were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They very kindly made me a breakfast to go as I had to leave early. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. A nice place to stay!

We had a lovely two night stay in this delightful B&B. Iain and Anna were fantastic hosts and made us feel very welcome. It is clean, warm and homely with all of the extras and facilities you would expect from a hotel stay. I would recommend this place and would stay again!

Well what a lovely find this place was. We were looked after by the owners from start to finish, Iain was super friendly and extremely helpful checking us in, showing us around etc. Our room was large, clean and the bed comfortable. When we left we were given free home baked goods by Hannah which was a really nice touch. Was like staying back at home with our parents bless them both. Beautiful place and would highly recommend.

Creston villa is a surprisingly pleasant little B & B, and well recommended if you are heading to Lincoln. It is a beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed treat, which does not sell itself in the manner it should. The owners Ian and Anna could not do enough to ensure our stay was perfect, and I would not hesitate to say they are the friendliest owners I have come across. We were in the 'Victoiran room' at the front of the building, yet despite being on a major road there was no traffic noise at all. The bedroom was a delight, far removed from the usual bland interior you might expect for the price we paid. While there I sampled the home made marmalade which was delicious. I bought a jar of the thick cut with whisky. Also highly recommended. Cannot imagine there is a nicer alternative to Creston villa in the area. Well worth a visit, and it is a reasonable walk into the town centre. The breakfast was continental so no big fry up, but plentiful and more than enough to start your day.

We had just a short stay at this eclectic B&B and were made very welcomed by the hosts. The Garden Room we stayed in was very comfortable and had all the facilities we needed. Breakfast was great, with many homemade products, and lovely chats with Iain and Anna. Will stay there again if and when we revisit Lincoln.

Only stayed for a night but had such a lovely experience. The Victorian room is gorgeous, I loved all of the little trinkets and antiques, it's hard to feel bored as there's so much to look at! Iain and Anna make you feel so welcome and cared for like family without being intrusive at all. The homemade oat cookies are not to be missed! I will absolutely be recommending Creston Villa to any friends or family travelling to Lincoln :)

We booked the Victorian room for Saturday night stay at short notice just a short time before we arrived. We was immediately sent a welcoming text message with details of where to park and when our earliest check in would be The Host, Iain greeted us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. The bedroom was very clean, comfortable and fresh. There was plenty of refreshments and snacks available for our stay. We parked on the street nearby and it was a 20 minute walk in to the City. In the morning we were greeted by our hosts, Iain & Ann. There was a large selection breakfast items on offer which was more than ample for us. Iain and Anna will make you feel part of the family on arrival. You have access to the kitchen and dining area at all times meaning you don't have to stay in your room; although your room will also feel like home given all the special little touches and additions located within. Iain and Anna are a lovely couple who look after you brilliantly. They have lovingly built up their Victorian guest house over the last 19 years and operate it to the highest standards. By the end of the week I felt like a long lost family member!

This was an experience not to be missed. Our hosts, Anna and Ian made us welcome in their home and we enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The breakfast was as good as we would ever expect. The room was perfect and we had the luxury of their lounge and garden to use. A very professional pair and they are very good at what they do and provide. 11 out oof 10 on all counts. Superb.

Creston villa is a surprisingly pleasant little B & B, and well recommended if you are heading to Lincoln. It is a beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed treat, which does not sell itself in the manner it should. The owners Ian and Anna could not do enough to ensure our stay was perfect, and I would not hesitate to say they are the friendliest owners I have come across. We were in the 'Victoiran room' at the front of the building, yet despite being on a major road there was no traffic noise at all. The bedroom was a delight, far removed from the usual bland interior you might expect for the price we paid. While there I sampled the home made marmalade which was delicious. I bought a jar of the thick cut with whisky. Also highly recommended. Cannot imagine there is a nicer alternative to Creston villa in the area. The welcome from Iain was exceptional showing me the facilities available, then my room. The room was comfortable with plenty of hot water from the shower. Tea and coffee was available both in the room and kitchen/dining area. After a good night sleep breakfast was continental with an assortment of cheeses and meats along with fresh fruit and yoghurt. There were also homemade brownies and cookies.

Check in was great and property owners are fantastic. On site parking is not available so you have to use surrounding roads. This requires parking on pavements a short distance away which is not convenient and very annoying in places as the vehicles on the pavements did not leave enough room for cases to get tthrough. Room we had was on the first landing facing the road. Was very noisy at night with a lot of Ambulance traffic. The bathroom was not directly connected to the room but located on the landing outside so was not convenient to use at night. Shower was also on the small side. I would recommend having a rear room if staying here. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Location is close to town but not really walkable.

We had just a short stay at this eclectic B&B and were made very welcomed by the hosts. The Garden Room we stayed in was very comfortable and had all the facilities we needed. A comfortable stay with very friendly hosts & the decor of the house is of a high standard. The Victorian room is a very nice room but a little traffic noise from the main road can be heard. A very comfortable bed. There is however, no bath & the absence of a hot, cooked breakfast option is notable. I would therefore grade the property 4 out of 5.

Creston Villa is a lovely, charming guest house. The hosts, Anna & Iain are so friendly and welcoming. My son and I stayed in the ground floor twin bedded Garden Room for 2 nights. The room and en suite shower room were spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the room was spacious with lots of storage space. The continental breakfast has everything you could want (tea, coffee, fruit juices, cereals, yogurt with granola & berries, fresh fruit, choices of bread, homemade jams, cold meats and cheeses). Guests are welcome to use the day room and garden - so you don’t feel that you have to sit in your room, like you might at a hotel. I can’t think of anything negative to say about this lovely guest house. If you’re looking for accommodation in Lincoln, look no further.
