A séjourné 3 nuits

My stay at the hostel was a bit of a bag of mixed experiences. I’ll start with the bad and work my way towards the good. Firstly, my experience with staff was extremely negative. I stayed for four days and at one point had a friend stopped by which we were planning on going downtown to gay pride festival together. He was not staying or hanging out at the hostel whatsoever. He came inside, I asked him if he would like a drink before we leave, so we walked down to the kitchen to get a drink and immediately walk back upstairs to leave. While walking back upstairs, one of the staff members working that day stopped us and asked if he was a guest. I informed him that he was not, he was simply my friend who was picking me up to go downtown and we walked downstairs to get something to drink. Mind you these were drinks I paid for, nor was he in the building for longer than 60 to 90 seconds. The staff member proceeded to scold me stating that individuals who are not guests were not allowed to hang out at the house. I had informed him that we simply went down there to get something to drink before leaving. He informed me that it was OK for them to be in the foyer area but not go any further. He then gave me the auction to either be kicked out for to be charged a $60 fee. As I could not afford to go stay at a $200 hotel, I was forced to be charged a $60 fee simply for my friend coming in to get a drink. Now prior to this I had never had a guest over in any capacity. Also A/C doesnt work

The place seems nice and has great reviews, but the truth is that people go to get high (In Denver, Marijuana and some Psychedelics / Magic Mushrooms are legal) and become very noisy, and then the next day the staff enforce rules, but is too late and this cycle repeats over and over. I believe the great reviews is only coming from this people.

A séjourné 3 nuits

I stayed at this hostel for a couple of days because I was visiting my sister. While the staff was kind and helpful the property itself was less than desirable. I’ve stayed in plenty of hostels domestically and internationally. But this is honestly one of the worst ones I stayed. Again I want to reiterate that the staff was very lovely but this property could use some work. Now maybe I’m biased because I’m used to staying in hostels where the shower is usually in the dorm room that you’re staying in. But I didn’t like the fact that the showers were downstairs and that I had to keep going back up and down the steps so that was my first issue. My other issue was the cleanliness of the hostel. While I won’t say it was absolutely trashed which it wasn’t! At least for me I could tell the showers and the bathroom were not cleaned throughly. Plus a lot of them a nasty smell. On top of that I even felt like my room I stayed in wasn’t properly cleaned either. Plus the space underneath my bunk that I wanted to use was filled with boxes and random shoes. I will say I did like the lobby area it was very cute and quirky but as for my overall experience I would say that I probably wouldn’t stay here again. And it could be own personal bias because I’m used to something a little different when I comes to my hostel experience. But overall I would say if you’re looking for something dirt cheap to stay in Denver for no more than two days this is fine.
