Lovely environment, genuinely kind staff, two nice pools, very relaxed, so-so breakfast, a little far away but with a restaurant and a shop within walking distance

Comfortable, convenient, incredibly friendly staff, beautiful pools yes plural, and lovely grounds. Communication was fast, responsive, and helpful when arranging transports. Definitely reach out for transport from the airport as standard rate of $30 without haggle is nice. You can rack up a bill at their restaurant and bar and pay it with card when you checkout. Couldn’t be happier with our stay.

This is a nice place to stay for a short visit. We had a king bed room and it was comfy and clean. The bar is a convenient spot to grab a drink- but make sure you bring small bills because it’s cash only and change is hard to come by.

The rooms are huge. Two swimming pools. Shuttle into town to the waterfalls. Breakfast was amazing. I had a T-bone steak cooked to perfection for dinner and it was only $18.

We stayed here for four nights - and the overall impression that it is very calm and relaxed lodge. There is NO nightlife around the lodge, and you DON´T walk the approx. 5 km to Vic Falls city. But, there is a good restaurant (reasoned prices for Vic Falls = a bit expensive), which also serves a very good breakfast. Please note that you have to order the dinner some hours before, so the kitchen has the specific meat. (And of some unknown reason, they do not have change on your bill - but you get the change next day. Waiting for tips?). The rooms are good and clean and there are two good swimming pools (1.2 - 1.7 m deep) on the lodge, which is great to take a bath in after a day on tour or at the Victoria Falls. We recommend this lodge!

All the staff was wonderful! Grace, especially, was so pleasant and very helpful. The grounds were beautiful and the pool was a pleasant place to sit around. The restaurant had a small menu and specific hours, the food was tasty.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The garden was pleasant and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

It was a comfortable stay with friendly staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. Parking was also safe.

Entering this guest house, we felt taken well care of. Calm athmosphere. Good safety. Small, sweet pool area with garden, well kept. Friendly staff, small but good restaurant. We had our own car, parked inside. (But taxi would also work)

We felt like we had the full attention of the staff and they endeavored to make sure our stay was perfect. Due to the location, we ate a few meals at the lodge and they were reasonably priced and very good. Excellent water pressure in the shower, comfortable beds. pool was nice and the place is clean and quiet. Definitely worth the price!

Great location. Cons were that the room we got was a lot smaller than expected (other ppl in our group got larger rooms even though we all booked the same room type) and the bed sheets all had stains on them.

The room was spacious, a lot of light and I felt very at home. I did not need a fancy upscale lodge and I have to say the price was extremely reasonable. What really stood out was the staff — everyone I interacted with, housekeeping, bellmen, and reception was polite, friendly, and helpful-Grace and Anne. I want to mention specifically Knowledge – he was extra kind to me during my stay. Hospitality will be remembered. When I’m back in Zimbabwe one day, which I hope is soon, I’ll definitely be staying at the Dzimbahwe Guest lodge again. For the quality and service, the price is very reasonable.

Staff were super helpful. Very hot showers and very clean rooms. Mosquito nets were the best we’ve encountered in our 18 days of travel so far. Breakfast is supposed to start at 730 (some things are set out earlier such as the tea/coffee, cereal, yogurt) but it would be nice to have all breakfast options ready at 7 because some local activities require being picked up at hotel at 8 so breakfast can be a little rushed. However, breakfast options are great and differed slightly everyday. I would return to Dzimbahwe in a heartbeat. Thanks for the stay.

The service was great room was really clean and room service was offered. I only had a problem with the wifi as one had to keep logging in to the wifi each time one wanted to use the phone. But overall the place was really great. And everyone was helpful.

We stayed for a few days on a trip to see Victoria Falls. The property was lovely, in most respects.The room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast while not fancy was sufficient. The staff were friendly and attentive, and very helpful in arranging transportation. We did have significant issues with the wifi, which was problematic as my friend needed it to work. The staff worked to get it resolved, and it eventually was, but this was quite inconvenient.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Grace in particular was amazing. They have electricity problems which is difficult with no air con. Breakfast was very nice.

Great value. Great staff. Poor wifi. Great food but very limited timelines for kitchen. No snack bar. I would for sure stay again though.

I was very pleased with the efficiency of the office staff. The driver was pleasant and truly a nice person. The Breakfast selection was more than adequate and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. Our room was clean and met our needs. We appreciate all that the staff did to make our stay pleasant. We can’t fault the staff at Dzimbahwe - they were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The grounds are lovely with plenty of shade and beautifully kept. The mosquito nets in the rooms are probably the best we’ve ever had and the beds very comfy. It’s no doubt our fault but we hadn’t realised that Dzimbahwe is the other side of Victoria Falls town to the Falls themselves. So, wherever you want to go, you have to take a taxi. The staff were brilliant at always making sure we got one when we needed it and they don’t overcharge. But it can still add a hefty amount to your final bill. We were disappointed with the food. The breakfast buffet was very basic and wasn’t replenished at all so by 8am, all the fruit, for example, had disappeared. We ate in the restaurant one evening but the only offering was burger or chicken with chips and the chicken was really dry and unpleasant. If you want to braai, you have to order a portable one in advance and it seemed too much hassle. A trip to one of the town restaurants is going to cost $10 return (Feb 2024 price). Our room had a single light meaning part of it was in almost permanent darkness. On the other hand, it had a nice terrace at the front. So, there’s lots of good things about Dzimbahwe. It’s certainly good value compared to many places at the Falls. We were well looked after by the staff. But, if you book, take into account the location, the disappointing food provision and some little niggles with the rooms.

A pleasant comfortable place on the edge of Victoria Falls. The staff makes sure that you have access to everything, even easy access to the town.

A really wonderful Zimbabwe hotel. The staff is fantastic from Grace in reception to Tembe at breakfast to the driver Pardon and everyone in between. The property is very nice for relaxing after enjoying all the activities available. We did walk into town and to the falls. But if it’s too far for some people to walk the hotel staff will arrange a taxi.

There is a van service you can use to go places and it costs $5 per ride, you also can be picked up/dropped off at the airport, spacious rooms with bathrooms and hot water all the time, they have a kettle and mini fridge as well, you can get picked up for your trips from here like Chobe day trip

The property is in a quiet location. The restaurant's food is good. It's an older property, so there are minor maintenance issues. The staff is responsive to our needs. We had a good stay for 3 days.

A pousada é muito bem cuidada, com boa jardinagem e paisagismo de ótimo gosto. O staff é muito atencioso. Limpeza ótima. Os quartos standard são um pouco escuros necessitando de iluminação artificial. O ponto negativo é o restaurante, que funciona somente até 19:30 e com cardápio limitado.

The lodge is nice. The pool area is very enjoyable. The room is fine for a short stay. We were given the option of a double bed or queen. We chose queen but we didn't get it. Breakfast is poor.
