The rooms are huge. There are plenty of charging ports and outlets. Love the well-stocked kitchen and large clean bathroom with great shower pressure. Front desk and lobby staff very friendly and helpful. Parking was $18 a day, but we found it easy to find free street parking within one block, and less than 2 blocks on a busy Friday night. Breakfast was more than ample. The gym is well equipped and quite sizable. There are a few homeless people in the area, but nothing threatening. It was easy to walk to food and bars, the waterfront park, museum row and the Big Four bridge. I don’t think I liked that the pool area was enclosed by big glass windows such that people king by on the street could see me in my swimsuit. The TVs are not Smart TVs, so you can’t stream from your Netflix, Hulu, Prime accounts, etc, but the WiFi is solid and I did watch a program on my phone. We weren’t in the room for too long anyway. Two blocks away is a nice Nulu late night convenience market, very well stocked with snacks, wine and beer too.

We enjoyed our stay, big spacious suite, nice kitchen area, full refrigerator. The breakfast was great, good choices, good fitness center, the guest laundry was what we needed after being on the road for a week. Good location, Close to Louisville Slugger museum. Would love to stay again if we’re in the area. Too bad we only needed 1 night.

It was great for what we were looking for. Pool was on the smaller side, which is fine, but it was also ice cold. Very off putting. Outside of that, I would definitely recommend if you don't want to swim with your family.

We found out after we checked in that the pool was closed for the weekend due to maintenance. We asked if it was possible to switch locations to the other Home 2 Suites in the area and was told she would call the GM but he likely wouldn’t answer. Breakfast was very low inventory. No fruit, no yogurt, no biscuits, chicken, or cheese for the featured sandwich, bacon was undercooked. Our bathtub had parts that were falling off, like the overflow drain cover. Housekeeping knocked on our door three times to see if we had left before checkout. The front desk employee was really nice and apologetic but stated the GM was hard to reach on the weekends. For a family of 6, the pool and breakfast are the main things we look for when booking, and usually LOVE Home 2 Suites, but this location was struggling. I understand things happen, but a heads up at arrival about the pool would have been nice.

The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly parking should be free because the parking lot is so tight.

The room was mostly somewhat clean, but the dishes and chair were disgusting, there was dust and stains in a few spots, and the room smelled bad. The sink drain was also clearly clogged as it drained very slowly. The coffee was nearly gone when I got some. They also close the pool relatively early when they never have a lifeguard anyway, so I see really no point to closing the pool at all. The pool was also completely out of towels when we went. The elevator button panel on the ground floor was smashed in, and the elevator doors just don't open sometimes. You cannot enter the hotel from the parking lot without a key, so you have to walk all the way around when checking in. The parking fee is also insane and not disclosed. We paid well over $30 to park for a 2-night stay.

Hotel offers comfortably-sized rooms and connecting rooms. Paid parking but don't know charges until it ends at checkout.

Nice hotel- would like to stay there again but parking is a problem. They use a third party to pay for parking. We paid for the parking when we checked in then went straight to a concert. When we returned, there wasn't any spots open. We had to park on the street down from the hotel. The hotel staff was unable to help us in getting a refund. Do not pay for the parking until you have a spot.

I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the property. The luggage carriers were dirty and covered in animal hair. The comforter on my bed was dirty and the desk chair in my room had a big stain on it.

Staff was always extremely helpful and nice! With that being said, most of the issues I had concerned the state of the room. In the shower, there was a small elastic wrapped with curly hair around one of the shampoo bottles so it clearly was not looked at or cleaned. Also, after walking around in the hotel room without any slippers, the bottom of my feet became dirty, which means the carpet in the room was dirty. The remote to the TV did not work and the microwave did not work. I called to inform the front desk and we were told someone would come up and look at it.. I just felt it should have been checked prior to us checking in. They are pretty convenient and affordable, just need to work on the cleanliness and preparedness of the room. Also, the walls/floors are a bit thin, I think a family with small children may have been in the floors above us and you could hear them running around the room from 8am to 3am.. and it made it difficult to sleep.

Property is nice and clean.

Parking was not easy or plentiful. Evening desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. Front of dishwasher was left spotty after cleaning with wet rag. Top of shower may not have EVER been wiped. Cleaning staff was not quiet. Fan ON option not available for HVAC to keep air circulating.

Room had dirt walls, candy wrapping on the floor and a straw on the counter top. You have to pay for parking, after the very expensive hotel. Convenient to the race. I asked for directions to the race in the morning, and the guy at the counter, had no idea.

Disappointed with our stay, won't stay again. Room was not clean . . . shampoo/body wash dispensers were empty. Bathroom ventilation fan was not working. Stayed on the 5th floor and the corridors were very dimly lit . . . not what you want to see when you open a hotel door in a strange city.

If I could give zero stars, trust me, I would. ...My stay at this hotel room 529 was the worst experience ever. ...The room was filthy and reeked of dog urine, with stains on the floors and chairs. ...There was food smeared on the windows and hair in the shower. ...I even woke up to a spider crawling on me, and there was a used tampon wrapper left in bathroom trash . ...The cost of parking was higher than what was originally told to us, and homeless people kept approaching us in the parking lot asking for money, making it feel very unsafe. ...The air conditioner was so loud it kept me up, and the pool was closed without warning. ...On top of everything, my daughter ended up with a severe eye infection, which I believe was caused by the unsanitary conditions. ...When I reported all of this to Hotels.com, they reached out to the hotel manager, but the manager never responded. ...Hotels.com refused to issue a refund, claiming they couldn’t help since it wasn’t a cancellation issue. ...Even after I provided photos as proof of the disgusting conditions, all they offered was a measly $10 credit. ...Both this hotel and Hotels.com showed zero care for their customers or the safety of their listings. ...Save yourself the trouble and book with a company that values its customers' experience and safety.

This was our first time staying at Home2Suites and we were very impressed. We especially liked the cleanliness of the hotel in general and the room. The staff was very professional and answered all questions. We will definitely use this hotel again.

The room was not clear and the staff in the beginning was not so nice. Air conditioning very noise and the TV was not smart.

The wifi was not working the entire stay. No compensation was offered. Had to pay for parking each night and it was not in a secure location. Room was pretty clean and pool was clean.

System was down upon arrival, so we didn’t receive our room keys for 24 hours! We had to be escorted to the room each time we returned to the hotel, and at times the front desk was busy. And no tv in the living area of my suite!

The front desk staff was awesome! I cannot remember the two gentlemen’s names that helped me, but they were great and answer any questions that I had during my stay

Didn’t tell us they don’t clean the room, sink didn’t drain and didn’t fix it (had 3 days), hot water in shower had no water pressure, extra pillows had no pillow cases

Room has everything needed. Full size fridge, micro, kitchen utensils and even a dishwasher. Staff were friendly and keep my room clean.

The property itself was clean and well kept. The front desk was friendly and helpful. The only negatives I would say it that the internet was down our entire 3 night stay. This also meant that the in room phones weren't working.

Staff was rude at check-in, had to pay for parking which first for us considering we cone here 4 times a year. Barely had hot water, and breakfast has changed. This will be our last time staying. Other guests were also complaining

We have stayed at this hotel for the last 4 years and loved it. The proximity to our activities and the comfort (usually) of the hotel were our primary reasons for staying. The normally excellent customer service was a plus. Josh is a wonderful employee and always seems to be in tuned with our comfort and satisfaction when we stay. He checked us in but did not work the weekend. We were left with a surly, disrespectful and rude Jackson at the front desk along with a manager who threatened to make us leave due to an issue with my card expiration date. She was awful. Uncaring and rude as well. I will be canceling my upcoming stay in June and for our future annual girls trips we are trying to find another hotel. Oh yes and this is the second year in a row the air conditioning didn’t work properly in the bedroom.

The front-desk folks are incredibly helpful, caring, patient and have a great sense of humor! Big fan and 12/10 would recommend based on cost, cleanliness, amenities, and overall spaciousness of the rooms! Thank you to the whole staff!

The staff and manager, Josh, really made sure I was happy. I had to complain in the beginning that (for no reason of their own) I did not get the room I ordered. They were more than pleasant about it and happy to either move me to another room or adjust what I had paid. I would definitely stay here again. All other things were good too. Very clean, organized and friendly.

My husband and I stayed here, through a third-party app. Although, the money was paid to Home 2 suites! When I was asked for information for any additional guest traveling with me, I filled out a form with my husband’s information. SomehowI accidentally booked the second room. The clerk brought this to my attention, and when I let him know, we did not need the room. He said he would take care of it. No worries. However, the next day I saw that I paid for two rooms for both nights. I called and brought this to the managers attention, and he asked me if I could prove the fact that my husband and I didn’t stay in separate rooms. He would refund it to me. I asked him did he not see it on the obvious cameras that were in the halls, or how thier computer didn’t give us two room keys, couldn’t he prove it to himself. I told him the name of the clerk that told me he would take care of it, and the manager told me that he only worked nights. Said clerk had a very uncommon name, and I knew his name, but the manager basically told me I was lying. He did not refund me not even for one night. Although it was booked through a third-party, the money was paid directly to Home two suites, Hilton would not take care of it and thereforeI was just robbed of $300! I wouldn’t stay here if I were you. Because they are thieves, and consider their customers to be liars!

M9rnong Staff not friendly. 4 calls were made to our room with no answer and front desk threatening to kick us out before we even woke up for the day. Cancelled the 2nd night stay and went to another hotel.

This property overbooked and did not give me a room because they said none were available. I couldn’t even get a refund because they wouldn’t answer the phone so Expedia could confirm they didn’t give me a room. Something extremely shady is going on here.

We were in town for a wedding. The hotel front desk clerk, Brittani went out of her way to make us all feel welcome. She took extra time to answer our questions and gave great advise. The hotel has a few dings and dents, especially the elevator but, it didn't inconvenience us too much. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we give Brittani "5 Stars."

The property does not look like its picture on Expedia. We did not feel safe in the area. The parking was limited and we had to pay for it, which was not apparent on the Expedia site. The room decor was dated and appeared dingy, although it was clean. The staff however, were friendly.

The hotel is located in an area where if I would have known ahead of time, I would not have taken my family there. We saw sketchy people outside of the hotel.

This hotel location is near a lot of attractions. Clean and nice staff . You will have to pay for parking separately. It also felt like a safe place to stay and they had all the accommodations you would need.

Nice looking property right near NuLu! Easy to get to local restaurants and shopping. Hotel staff in good communication.

I pulled in the parking lot, where there was no parking. I proceeded to look for alternative parking and was approached by what appeared to be 2 homeless men. This is not located in a safe neighborhood. I left and went to a different hotel.

Everything was great, but the surrounding area didn’t feel safe, and the parking was across the street, which was inconvenient.

Great location, quiet, easy walking distance to the baseball stadium and distilleries

Overall for the price property was decent. Staff super friendly, professional, and helpful. Used the gym a few times and it was good. Walkable to bars and restaurants which is great.

Staff very friendly, hotel very nice and clean. Check-in was a breeze. The breakfast was nasty though. Microwave breakfast sandwich and breakfast bowls were tasteless. Other than that, loved visiting this hotel.

The breakfast was extremely disappointing - no plates, etc. … poor or lacking supposed food offerings … no staff replenishing. Everything else was very good.

Paying to park at a hotel you already paid to go to is ridiculous. We only stayed one night and the pool was closed. I had several kids staying. We got to breakfast an hour before it was over and all the breakfast was gone.

The beds were incredibly comfortable—some of the best we've experienced while traveling—and the large bathroom was both modern and accommodating. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, making check-in smooth and stress-free. We truly loved our stay here and would happily return. Highly recommend!

The breakfast was awful Out of everything Parking is awful also

3 pillows per bed? Should be 4! But bathroom fantastic! Breakfast terrible! Hardly anything out and we were there early. Service employee not too interested in helping fill items, including cutlery! And having to pay extra for hotel parking ridiculous especially when it’s across street!

Always clean but they had little to no breakfast food available. Very disappointing
