Cute, retro motel! Drive right up to your door. The studio queen was very clean. Super-duper small. If you are claustrophobic at all, consider a larger room. The room has a microwave, fridge with a freezer, and a flat screen tv with satellite tv options. Our tv was a bit challenged—- color was off and the screen was a bit dark. We only watched at bedtime so that didn’t bother us. It’s definitely time to replace the tv in our room. The shower was small but clean. I’d never seen a bathroom sink so small but it was good enough for our needs. LOL The only reasons I didn’t give the motel 5 stars is because of the bed. I prefer at least a mattress pad/cover of some sort under the fitted sheet to cover the mattress. I was uneasy being that close to the communal mattress. :( Additionally, the smell of disinfectant was very strong when we arrived and really never dissipated during our two-night stay. The eindow air conditioning unit is super noisy, but the room stayed exyra cool. Other than that, we enjoy a lovely time at the Royal Palms. We did not use the pool; however, it looked clean and inviting. The pool literally sits in the middle of the motor court. The front desk gave us a call prior to our check-in time to advise that our room was ready. The rep was very nice! We received text messages throughout our stay & we were able to check out via text. Free parking!! The beach is a short block walk across the street. Great for a short, inexpensive stay off-season.

Got there after they had closed. Nothing with our name on it, so called the after hours number on the door and she answered right away and told us what room # and the code. When we got into the room it was so small. Pictures made it look bigger. The room that we got is really only for one person. No where really to put your stuff. The bathroom sink was 12 x 8 and water went all over when you had to use it as it was so small. Mom and Pop place which we love but this one definitely needs some TLC. Air Conditioner worked great! On the middle of the island so convenient to different things. Would not stay again.
