The property was very clean, and beautiful! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The scenery, details, space and decor was very impressive. Comfortable stay. Restaurant and bar on premises. Views are outstanding. I will definitely stay again.

Nice new-ish hostel, clean and beds were comfortable. The issue I had was the level of noise, I stayed on a Friday and Saturdays and both days from 11am-11pm they played ridiculously loud music all day. I was not feeling good and resting in bed but the music and vibration was pounding through my chest. All dorm rooms are surrounding the courtyard and under the rooftop so there's no escape. If I had the energy to leave I would have. Also for Semana santa they hiked the price up 2.3 times, so greedy. No kitchen so breakfast is provided but its so tiny its not worth getting out of bed for. I've started in 7 hostels in Antigua and I would not stay in Adra again

Adra Hostel is a hostel, so keep your expectations reasonable. However, that being said, it was a good experience. I arrived a bit early, and even though my room wasn't ready, I could store my bags at the location without any issues. The whole establishment is very safe, storage-wise, and moving around-wise. I was in a dorm room with ~18 other beds, yet each room felt like a private (albeit small) room within a larger space. The highlight of the hostel is the restrooms. I had a glorious shower; the water is hot and consistently stays hot. Even in a room with multiple people having access to the same bathroom, you have enough privacy to settle in when you are in the restroom. Not to mention the bathroom was spotless. I can't sing enough praises for this part of the experience. There is a courtyard on the first floor and a wrap-around balcony on the second floor with a DJ at night, an excellent place to relax in the establishment. This was my first hostel experience, and overall I would say I had a positive experience. If you're easygoing and want to use your funds to enjoy Antigua versus overpaying for a place to rest your head, give Adra Hostel a look.

The service was great! The food was good. The DJ and band were also good. My only complaint would be that the room would get very humid which caused a musty smell at times, but opening the room door helped. Overall, great experience..especially for the price!

You may get put into a 24 person dorm. However the bunks are private and fully enclosed, perforated box and a curtain. Ask for bottom level as they stack 3 high. Central area and rooftop are nice. Bathrooms are modern. No kitchen.

Excelente hostal. Personal muy amable y servicial ante todo lo que uno necesite. Las habitaciones y los baños se encuentran limpios y las zonas comunes del hostal son agradables. Adicionalmente que te dejan guardar tu equipaje después del check out siendo un plus. Muy agradecida con todo.

Only if it wasn’t the super loud music during my whole stay I would have give in it 5 stars. Great ambience and staff and if relaxing isn’t your priority then you should go for it.

Al siguiente día me fui a buscar un hotel. Las instalaciones muy bonitas pero el servicio deja mucho que desear. Independientemente de que sea un hostal sigue siendo un negocio y creo que es lo que no tienen claro, no están atendiendo a sus amigos ni a sus familiares, sino a un cliente!!. El personal se pasa de chistosit@ y eso es el problema cuando chavitos atienden un negocio. El colchón un tanto incómodo. Y atención a la administradora y su personal, todos fuimos estudiantes alguna vez, ojo con como hablan de ellos cuando platican entre ustedes en áreas públicas, no todos tienen "hambre"

I was in a dorm room with ~18 other beds, yet each room felt like a private (albeit small) room within a larger space. The highlight of the hostel is the restrooms. I had a glorious shower; the water is hot and consistently stays hot. Even in a room with multiple people having access to the same bathroom, you have enough privacy to settle in when you are in the restroom. Not to mention the bathroom was spotless. I can't sing enough praises for this part of the experience. There is a courtyard on the first floor and a wrap-around balcony on the second floor with a DJ at night, an excellent place to relax in the establishment. This was my first hostel experience, and overall I would say I had a positive experience. If you're easygoing and want to use your funds to enjoy Antigua versus overpaying for a place to rest your head, give Adra Hostel a look.

It’s great and the workers are really nice. One thing that bothered me was my last night there. one of the workers that is staying in the room I was staying had brought a guest from outside and making uncomfortable noises. You can assume what they were doing. I find it disrespectful, others pay to be there and if that person can bring someone over, others will want to do the same.

The service was great! The food was good. The DJ and band were also good. My only complaint would be that the room would get very humid which caused a musty smell at times, but opening the room door helped. Overall, great experience..especially for the price!

You may get put into a 24 person dorm. However the bunks are private and fully enclosed, perforated box and a curtain. Ask for bottom level as they stack 3 high. Central area and rooftop are nice. Bathrooms are modern. No kitchen.

Only if it wasn’t the super loud music during my whole stay I would have give in it 5 stars. Great ambience and staff and if relaxing isn’t your priority then you should go for it.

Al siguiente día me fui a buscar un hotel. Las instalaciones muy bonitas pero el servicio deja mucho que desear. Independientemente de que sea un hostal sigue siendo un negocio y creo que es lo que no tienen claro, no están atendiendo a sus amigos ni a sus familiares, sino a un cliente!!. El personal se pasa de chistosit@ y eso es el problema cuando chavitos atienden un negocio. El colchón un tanto incómodo. Y atención a la administradora y su personal, todos fuimos estudiantes alguna vez, ojo con como hablan de ellos cuando platican entre ustedes en áreas públicas, no todos tienen "hambre"

I had a wonderful experience. Jack from front desk was very helpful and always willing to make the extra effort. Also, food was GREAT!!!! I truly loved the Burger (10/10) and the Chicken Sandwich was excellent as well. Thanks and I would for sure recommend this place to anyone.

Nice new-ish hostel, clean and beds were comfortable. The issue I had was the level of noise, I stayed on a Friday and Saturdays and both days from 11am-11pm they played ridiculously loud music all day. I was not feeling good and resting in bed but the music and vibration was pounding through my chest. All dorm rooms are surrounding the courtyard and under the rooftop so there's no escape. If I had the energy to leave I would have. Also for Semana santa they hiked the price up 2.3 times, so greedy. No kitchen so breakfast is provided but its so tiny its not worth getting out of bed for. I've started in 7 hostels in Antigua and I would not stay in Adra again

From the moment I entered staff was nice and welcoming and gave great advice on things to do, places to see, and food to try. For my first time at a hostel the cleanliness was superb! It smelled great and fresh when I arrived - like lemons , and staff was constantly cleaning the bathroom throughout the day drying up any puddles from the showers which was so nice. I found the dorms beds to be spacious and comfortable, equipped with an adjustable reading light, fan, outlet, and mini shelf. The curtains were great for privacy. It also had enough space to hold personal items and even a backpack at the end of the bed. Lockers were available but I found the storage under the bunks to be enough, especially considering I forgot to bring a lock. No issue with lost items but I still kept everything organized and tucked away. Valuable belongings stayed with me. Great cute social areas with plenty of spots to sit, and dine. Free water was a plus. Easy to socialize and meet others. Good DJ on the rooftop at certain hours of the day/night and the music was always a vibe. Location was great, very walkable area. Such a great stay especially for the price! Shuttles to and from the airport + other popular locations were available, nice buses, and affordable. I will definitely be coming back to stay again. 10/10 all around I really had no complaints <3

De var veldig hjelpsomme når min ankomstdato plutselig endret seg. 10 manns sovesalen hadde fine kapsler og gode fasiliteter med ekstra dusj og do på utsiden av rommet. Veldig stilig borggård og takterasse. Det eneste jeg vil være obs på er at rommene vender inn mot borggården hvor de starter å spille rolig musikk fra klokken 7 om morgenen til house musikk utover kvelden og natten. Sover du lett bør du ha ørepropper.

It's a nice hostel with a beautiful rooftop and the staff is very nice. However, it is also a restaurant so doesn't have that "hostel" vibe since you don't know who is staying there or who is dining. It also gets so louddd from thursday - weekend. and there are no quiet spaces left at the hostel at night for you to have some quiet time. It becomes difficult to find a seat on the rooftop because staff will ask you to move so paying customers can sit instead. If it's cold, then the only warm place will be your bed because there are no indoor spaces for you chill. But the beds were really comfortable with privacy curtains, the location is very central and the bathrooms are clean and abundant. I stayed in the small room (max 8 ppl) and it was very quiet at night.
