Great location with stunning views over the bay and onto the sunset. The hotel was clean and tidy with an interesting, driftwood, theme throughout. All the staff were very friendly, polite and very helpful. The food was excellent. Overall a very pleasant stay which we would not hesitate to repeat. Perhaps the only downside was transport. There is a very good bus service but to get anywhere you have to take the bus round the Island. Probably better with a car. But its all still possible without

A family run hotel full of homely touches. The decor around every area has been carefully coordinated to a theme, giving an overall impression of somewhere calm and peaceful to stay. Our room had a sea view, adding to the relaxing effect. We also had an additional sitting room, giving us plenty of space. Some rooms have a balcony, which would be great for watching the changing tides on a summers day. On the ground floor there is is a pub, that serves a good range of food, and a bistro/restaurant with even more choice. The portions of the meals we had were good value for money. Breakfast was included in our room price and we chose full English each morning, which set us up each day for exploring the island. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean.

Driftwood is like a home to us and we continue visiting Driftwood. We love it. Continental breakfast and Full English Breakfast is provided with plenty of tea, coffee and juices. Dining is excellent and the car park is always full of visitors dining at their restaurant. The room were clean, Staff always obliging ie. Richard, Paul, & Eunice however busy they are. The owner has chosen the right calibre of people, who are hard working, cheerful, nothing is too much for them Although, the owner, is away ill, Driftwood is managed very well. A happy recovery. Well done Jamie for all your hard work. Richard is standing in for Jamie and it's amazing how much hands on is being managed by Richard. Well done Richard. Thank you Driftwood Team for all your hard work and effort in making our stay most enjoyable, homley and utterly pleasant. We would not hesitate in recommending Driftwood. Parking is ample, staff extremely pleasant and location is unbelievable. The staff take a personal interest in helping at Driftwood.

Great breakfast, enough to fill my husband up. Amazing views from the bedroom window and a very comfy bed. I was delighted that the live music, although very good, stopped at a sensible time - 9pm. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely come.

Lovely hotel in a lovely location. Staff were all excellent and extremely helpful, rooms very comfortable and well furnished, we also had a beautiful sea view. Breakfast and Bistro/Bar food very nice. Only negative was the shower which had very poor pressure, and the bathroom itself didn't meet the quality of the rest of the hotel, but I would imagine they are due a makeover as every other area has had. But didn't change our overall positive view and would definitely stay again if visiting Guernsey.

Car park at the front of the hotel no issues plenty of spaces the staff in reception and bar area were superb. Very helpful and accommodating our room was clean but tired the bathroom was very old fashioned and the mirror light was not working and the light in the ceiling was very old fashioned

The driftwood inn is a pleasant property with a bar and restaurant, nice outside seated area front and back. The staff are very good and look after you very well. The food is excellent with a good choice on the menu. Buses stop outside to take you to st, peters port . Overall a very pleasant stay with good food and pleasant staff, will come again.

The property was by the sea with a large car park. Our room was overlooking the car park and into the sea. Apart from a few hours on the Monday day morning with rain, it was fine weather. We had days of beautiful sunsets into the sea, something we had never experienced with our travel over the years. Our room was spacious albeit with a simple ensuite bathroom. It was great to have two armchairs by the windows where I sat every evening watching the sun goes down. Staff at the hotel were friendly. Breakfast was standard and on the days we eat-in, the evening meals were tasty and plentiful. The hotel itself was very much a local watering hole and eatery hence plenty of clienteles. It was certainly a place to relax and enjoy the sceneries. Overall, thoroughly recommended.

I had a fantastic stay at the Driftwood Hotel! The service was absolutely excellent—friendly, attentive, and professional from start to finish. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, providing the perfect place to relax. We especially enjoyed the bistro bar, which offered a cozy atmosphere and a great selection of drinks. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

We had a wonderful stay at The Driftwood Inn. The staff were friendly, approachable and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Definitely worth booking a sea view room, we sat and watched the waves crashing and listened to the sea - very relaxing. We will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone. It is in a great location. The hotel and room was clean. Although the TV channels in the room was limited there was a large TV in the bar showing live football when on. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much for them. Special mention to Richard the assistant manager.

We booked this hotel/inn as a short break before heading elsewhere on Guernsey. The room initially seemed great - a lovely balcony overlooking the sea, nice decor and toasty. However, despite turning the radiator down to zero, it still pumped out heat - this was stifling through the night - not good. There's only one plug socket by the 'desk' - this meant you had to choose between watching the TV, boiling the kettle or using the coffee machine. No hand soap for the sink in the bathroom nor hand towels. Apparently this was an oversight by the cleaning staff. We were disappointed to learn that the kitchen was shut on a Monday - after breakfast so there was no satisfactory option for us to eat later. This was posted on their website, but not on Hotels.com, which we'd used to make our booking. The owner was most amenable and allowed us/and refunded us our second night, so we went somewhere else. The breakfast was great, but when we ate in the restaurant, we ordered a pizza - according to the big sign outside, handmade pizza to order - the pizza we were served was overcooked and looked like it was from Iceland - suitably unimpressed... I appreciate it's the start of the summer season but that's not really an excuse for poor attention to detail and lack of preparation...

The room was nicely presented and very clean. The wall to the next room was not sound proof and their television could be heard at times. The breakfast and evening dining both offered a nice choice of menu. I enjoyed my meals very much indeed. All the staff were friendly and attentive to guests needs. I would stay here again.

Great staff and rooms. The food in the Bistro restaurant was among the best that we are at on Guernsey (including La Reunion). Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. Only less good thing is that while the rooms are modern, the bathrooms still haven't been updated.

Staff made the holiday very enjoyable for us. Richard and the team were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Great room with a view, sometimes a little too warm in the night. Maybe supply a fan in the room? We didn't ask for one, so that was our bad. Lovely trip to Guernsey.

Lovely hotel in a lovely location. Staff were all excellent and extremely helpful, rooms very comfortable and well furnished, we also had a beautiful sea view. Breakfast and Bistro/Bar food very nice. Only negative was the shower which had very poor pressure, and the bathroom itself didn't meet the quality of the rest of the hotel, but I would imagine they are due a makeover as every other area has had. But didn't change our overall positive view and would definitely stay again if visiting Guernsey.

The bathroom let the property down, very disappointing. Apparently due to be refurbished this winter-it needs it. TV was also disappointing as it was not a SMART TV although that was available in some rooms.

The hotel was perfectly acceptable, although the bathrooms could do with a little updating. The hotel is a little remote for access to major sights, but as the island is small and the bus service is so reliable and cheap, this was easily remedied. All the staff were friendly and very helpful and the food and overall service were exceptional. We would definitely stay again.

Very lovely location with good choice of food onsite. Breakfast had a lot of choice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was a little tired and not very soundproof as was kept awake by the neighbours snoring and TV.

Lovely stay, great staff, only missed 5 stars as could hear next door room when there shower was on. But this should not dissuade anyone from booking as it might just be my light sleeping and a one off room👍

Driftwood is like a home to us and we continue visiting Driftwood. We love it. Continental breakfast and Full English Breakfast is provided with plenty of tea, coffee and juices. Dining is excellent and the car park is always full of visitors dining at their restaurant. The room were clean, Staff always obliging ie. Richard, Paul, & Eunice however busy they are. The owner has chosen the right calibre of people, who are hard working, cheerful, nothing is too much for them Although, the owner, is away ill, Driftwood is managed very well. A happy recovery. Although very early arrival we were warmly welcomed with coffee and a builder's tea!! Room was ready too. The whole duration of our stay was excellent. All staff, however busy were always willing to help, starting from Jamie - the owner, who set an excellent example to his team. Richard too made sure all visitors were looked after. Thank you Jamie and Richard. The bar staff (Paul, Eunice) however busy always obliged too even if they did not have any involved with the rooms. Thank you. We will be back again. We highly recommend other visitors to Driftwood

A one week stay. Breakfast was excellent and the menu choices for dinner were very good and exceptional value for money. Staff were very accommodating in the Bistro and reception and went out of their way to look after us. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were given a tour of the facilities. The owner very kindly allowed us to swap rooms for a sea view for part of our stay, as these were full when we originally booked. The location is good and it’s very easy to tour the island with a bus stop outside. There is a convenient Morrisons next door selling sandwiches etc for packed lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Driftwood Inn and would recommend it to others.

We had a wonderful stay at The Driftwood Inn. The staff were friendly, approachable and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Definitely worth booking a sea view room, we sat and watched the waves crashing and listened to the sea - very relaxing. We will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone. It is in a great location. The hotel and room was clean. Although the TV channels in the room was limited there was a large TV in the bar showing live football when on. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much for them. Special mention to Richard the assistant manager.

Great location with stunning views over the bay and onto the sunset. The hotel was clean and tidy with an interesting, driftwood, theme throughout. All the staff were very friendly, polite and very helpful. The food was excellent. Overall a very pleasant stay which we would not hesitate to repeat. Perhaps the only downside was transport. We had a great stay at Driftwood, made even better by the friendly welcome and kindness shown to us by all the team of staff. We can highly recommend the food in both the bistro and bar. The facilities are good, and we enjoyed the sea views from our room. A car would be recommended for touring the island easily. However, buses stop right outside the hotel for easy access to Saint Peter Port on a circular route around the island, or via a shorter, more direct route.

We booked this hotel/inn as a short break before heading elsewhere on Guernsey. The room initially seemed great - a lovely balcony overlooking the sea, nice decor and toasty. However, despite turning the radiator down to zero, it still pumped out heat - this was stifling through the night - not good. There's only one plug socket by the 'desk' - this meant you had to choose between watching the TV, boiling the kettle or using the coffee machine. No hand soap for the sink in the bathroom nor hand towels. Apparently this was an oversight by the cleaning staff. We were disappointed to learn that the kitchen was shut on a Monday - after breakfast so there was no satisfactory option for us to eat later. This was posted on their website, but not on Hotels.com, which we'd used to make our booking. The owner was most amenable and allowed us/and refunded us our second night, so we went somewhere else. The breakfast was great, but when we ate in the restaurant, we ordered a pizza - according to the big sign outside, handmade pizza to order - the pizza we were served was overcooked and looked like it was from Iceland - suitably unimpressed... I appreciate it's the start of the summer season but that's not really an excuse for poor attention to detail and lack of preparation...

The room was nicely presented and very clean. The wall to the next room was not sound proof and their television could be heard at times. The breakfast and evening dining both offered a nice choice of menu. I enjoyed my meals very much indeed. All the staff were friendly and attentive to guests needs. I would stay here again.

Great staff and rooms. The food in the Bistro restaurant was among the best that we are at on Guernsey (including La Reunion). Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. Only less good thing is that while the rooms are modern, the bathrooms still haven't been updated.

Proximité avec la mer très agréable. Il manque un microfrigo dans la chambre. Petit déjeuner délicieux avec un mini bémol: cela aurait été mieux de proposer différentes choses suivant les jours. Le resto est un tout petit peu trop cher pour nous. Décoration, très jolie.

The service at the Driftwood was outstanding particularly the Bar man Jim who helped me when i lost something. the food was excellent variety although having stayed 6 nights I ran out of choice but everything was delicious. and wide choice for breakfast . comfortable bed and super views from front of hotel. Would stay again if I ever return.

Such a lovely stay here. It’s in a remote location and it’s quite a simple hotel, but the friendliness, helpfulness and attention to detail from the staff is second to none, and the breakfasts were brilliant!!! The view is fantastic, straight over the sea, and there are buses that take you in all directions from right outside the hotel door, as well as lots of car parking. It's very good value for money, and we highly recommend it.
