Oasis Inn

Disappointed on arrival. Do you wonder why there is no property overview on their web site? That's because it is a 1960-1970 vintage motel. Just an L-shape two floor building surrounding a paved parking lot. Nowhere to sit outside - no chairs !! Yes the units themselves have been renovated, but they are very small with nowhere to sit there either, except on the bed or the single office swivel chair. We paid equivalent to the Quality Inn down the road which has full services. So do yourself a favor book somewhere else.

We booked this room for us to attend a Marine graduation. It was a great location close to Parris Island. I had actually booked 3 other hotels before cancelling the reservations after reading many reviews mentioning cleanliness issues. I took a chance on this hotel and I'm glad I did. It was exceptionally clean, there were no insects, mold or bad smells. We got there very late at night, so the office was locked, but we were able to call the phone number on the door for someone to get us checked in. The room had a fridge, but no freezer section (which I really needed for ice packs for insulated lunch bags) and a microwave. The continental breakfast looked non existent so we opted to buy groceries from the store down the road. Pros: very clean rooms, clean and comfy beds, reasonable prices, close to Parris Island. Cons: No elevators! The stairs to the 2nd floor are quite steep, so if you have trouble with stairs, be sure to request a 1st floor room. Not really an actual breakfast there. No freezer. If we ever need to come back to Parris Island, we would definitely pick here again, but I'll be requesting a 1st floor room because the stairs were a bit hard for me to go up and down due to an injury.

The motel is very dirty and there was bedbugs. The door was also broken and the bathroom was also dirty.

This was a very last minute reservation. Room was clean and smelled very good. Room was a good size and the bathroom was very big. Plenty of outlets for charging phones, watches, etc. Beds were comfortable. Could have used a few more pillows and more towels.

The room was not clean just smelt clean. The breakfast area had cereal that was spilt on the counter for my entire stay and not fresh spill. Not recommended in my opinion. Unfortunately it was a holiday weekend so I had no choice. I will not be back.

Thr rooms was decent but the covers on the bed looked dingy. The walls needed cleaning had finger prints on the walls of the bathroom and there was hair in the shower. If you overlook all that then it was a good stay. The hotel was around lots of good places to eat but there was alot of traffic.

The staff at this property were so hospitable and helpful. The rooms are newly remodeled and modern. My only complaint was that the room was not as clean as I would like, for exmaple, hair in the shower and the floors were quite dirty. Other than that, the property was nice, beds were comfortable, and it was a pleasant stay.

The appearance from outside reminded us of an old Days Inn but it was certainly so much better inside! The room had everything you needed, was clean, good air con and beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast was cereal and banana but some toast would have been nice .

This was a very clean & comfortable little inn. The bed was very comfortable as well. We really enjoyed the current interpretation of mid-century vibe with the decor. Very cool!

Clean, Quiet, and a Great Shower

This was a very last minute reservation. Room was clean and smelled very good. Room was a good size and the bathroom was very big. Plenty of outlets for charging phones, watches, etc. Beds were comfortable. Could have used a few more pillows and more towels.

There are several well-known hotels in the area, which would probably have higher nightly rates and potentially more upgraded room accessories, but the Oasis Inn room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable and although not a “fancy” front desk, eating area or facade, the room was surprisingly “fancy.”

The room was nice, clean but it's so close to the highway it can be quite noisy especially in the early morning. And the stairway to the upper rooms is noisy with foot traffic up and down. But mostly it was a nice stay.

It’s a $100 a night hotel. However our room was clean and updated. Seen some reviews complaining about room size and yes the rooms are on the smaller side but again it’s a $100 a night hotel. We were there for a fishing trip so the room was just for showering and sleeping.

Very friendly and caring staff. I had a beautiful and very clean room. I have no complaints about my stay. I did have a person walk up to me asking for money but he was not at the hotel nor did I complain I just went back inside. There are cameras everywhere and I never felt in “danger”. I know I should have probably said something about the man but he ran off and I didn’t see him again. I know the staff would have done anything to help me if I needed it.

No one was available to let us in. Tried bell and calling number. We had to find another hotel.

Older accommodation however, very clean and bright. Linens and beds were good and the gentleman who checked us in and out was super friendly. Will stay again.

As always, we we enjoyed our stay. The owners are always so kind and welcoming. The rooms are clean and the area is quiet even though it is by the main highway.

Neal and his family (with adorable young kiddo) own this lovely hotel. They treat you like family. Want extra pillows? They bring them up with a smile in 5-10 minutes. They purchased Oasis 2 years ago. The work they have done is spot on. Great renovation and focus on customer service. Highly recommend putting your money into a stay with this wonderful young family instead of supporting corporate America in the cookie cutter hotels near by. Yes, it isn’t as new. One of the comforters had signs of age (clean, just aging). Yes, the reception area could use better signage and upgrades. However, how often do you get to make a difference in someone’s life AND safe money while doing it? Oasis is the cheapest good hotel in the area so you save money AND get the feel good of knowing that your stay helped support Neal’s family’s dreams. Your stay would help him get closer to buying the new comforters and a few other upgrades that will make this place even better. Say no to supporting huge corporations and yes to a fantastic feel good stay with Neal at the Oasis. Comfy, clean beds/room for super cheap price.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. For the price, it is not a bad spot to stay in for a night or two.

It is located downtown and is convenient to restaurants and shopping. The room was very clean and the check in was very welcoming and friendly.

We went for our Sons Graduation we just stayed 1 night because he had to go straight to the airport after graduation. The motel is perfect it is a totally refurbished motel Very Clean. The only thing was not very much breakfast bar cereals and coffee but there is a Dunkin’ Donuts right down the street a Waffle House and a Starbucks right down the street. About 15 min from Parris Island.

Worth the stay,relaxing atmosphere for me. Had access to shops and restaurants and every other convenient thing,nice stay.

This property is family owned, and they updated it very nicely. The location is just minutes from downtown Beaufort, which we loved. The only downside is that it's on a busy road, so you hear a fair amount of traffic noise. Either way, I would definitely consider staying here again!

It's a nice quick place to stay. Though the breakfast option was a bit lack luster. Very friendly staff.
