Our stay at the Marriott has been by far the best while we have been in India. We arrived 3 hours before our check in time but as soon as our rooms were ready we were able to check in (2.5 hours early). The staff were friendly, helpful and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The restaurant was great for food and drinks. We also utilized the gym and pool which were a great bonus. Other than doing the tourist attractions we came to see we didn’t need to leave the hotel as we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend Fairfield by Marriott.

Our stay at the Marriott has been by far the best while we have been in India. We arrived 3 hours before our check in time but as soon as our rooms were ready we were able to check in (2.5 hours early). The staff were friendly, helpful and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The restaurant was great for food and drinks. We also utilized the gym and pool which were a great bonus. Other than doing the tourist attractions we came to see we didn’t need to leave the hotel as we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend Fairfield by Marriott.

Was a nice hotel, however a little tired in places, the communal areas were worn, there was stuff in the carpet on my floor and didn’t get hovered in the time I was there. General cleaning could be better. Staff were fantastic especially the ones in training, there was a short lady that was in training, she had a very happy attitude.

I had a fantastic 4-night stay at the Fairfield Hotel during my trip to Amritsar in April 2025. From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless. The facilities at the hotel were excellent, and everything we needed was easily accessible. The room service was prompt and efficient, and the food at the restaurant was truly delicious, with a great selection of dishes to choose from. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every member of the team was incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive, ensuring our stay was as comfortable as possible. It was clear they really care about their guests. I would definitely stay here again when I’m next in Amritsar. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the city!

Property was nicely located near the train station. Difficult to find as its tucked away. Concierges and door staff are great as they speak fluent Punjabi but annoyingly the desk staff or restaurant staff only speak Hindii or English which means it is more difficult to be understood. Nice swimming pool too. Plenty of autos outside but they charge you more so walk down the road. Area is safe enough. 15 mins in an auto from the Harimandir Sahib and old town and ditto the nightlife in the other direction. Breakfast was fine but NO coffee only tea/ char. The aloo paratha and choley were excellent but had to wait an awful long time for the bhaturas.

The property is situated in a good locality . Very near to the city market and golden temple . Other than that , the breakfast buffet is good , service is moderately decent . The rooms , however are subpar and not enough attention has been given to housekeeping or maintaining the cleanliness of the room . I saw several spots on the floor with dust and lint and had a peculiar odor .The room vicinity was very noisy and it wasn’t quiet during the turn down hours .Constant sounds of room being closed loudly and things being dragged across making a lot of noise throughout the night (may be the floor I stayed had some maintenance room)

I called many times before check in, but property telephone was not working. Towels were very old and dirty. Place felt like with dust everywhere. Neighborhood looked dirty and unsafe. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was good but dinner was not. Property didn’t meet Marriott standards. Would not stay there in future.

Hôtel à l américaine, sans âme. Positif: le restaurant est vraiment excellent, mérite 5 étoiles et le service est impeccable ! Chambre et sdb assez petites, difficile d’ouvrir sa valise sans devoir la poser sur le lit, peu de rangement, hôtel pour 1 ou 2 nuits. Alentours pas super.

Amazing. Wonderful room - large comfortable bed, great shower. Very clean & kept clean daily by staff. All staff were fantastic & should be congratulated for their excellent customer service skills. Particular thanks to Prince, Rajan & Vishal at breakfast who anticipated our every need & encouraged us to try all the wonderful cuisine. The food was great - breakfast, lunch & dinner. Room service was prompt. Security guards were professional & helpful. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We hope to return.

The hotel has amenities of Motel 6, like toilet soap from fixed dispensers to bare Minming stuff. More importantly, the hotel seem to have a temperature problem: AC won’t cool making it hard to sleep; and hot scalding water in the shower regardless of the faucet setting. Overall, anything but a four star experience.

Short Stay..only overnight. Checked in at 9pm the staff at the counter seemed little inexperienced, however the check out staff was very smooth. Had to change different room than assinged as the room had foul smell and was very small in size and also the bathroom in all the rooms are very small. The rooms don't like the pictures posted online . Also didn't feel like a true Marriot Hotel. Felt like a normal hotel building having Marriot Name and Management.

It seems like it’s offers and advertising is misleading and not clear. When I booked I got this package ‘ Transportation to Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, and Durgiana Temple’ During my stay enquired and they said only one time transportation is available and you need to choose one place out of those we will drip you but return you need to arrange by your own. Very disappointing and misleading offer while booking . Otherwise experience was good.

It seems like it’s offers and advertising is misleading and not clear. When I booked I got this package ‘ Transportation to Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, and Durgiana Temple’ During my stay enquired and they said only one time transportation is available and you need to choose one place out of those we will drip you but return you need to arrange by your own. Very disappointing and misleading offer while booking . Otherwise experience was good.

My stay at Fairfield Marriott was very comfortable. I recommend this hotel highly. The staff is very courteous and helpful. This was my second time stay and I was not disappointed. I give it 5 stars.

We stayed as a family for 3 days in April. We were very satisfied with the hospitality of the staff. At check in we advised that we required a cot for our 1 year old child and this was set up ready for us to check in. My son who is 6 years old suffers from severe food allergies and the first time we went to eat in the the hotel restaurant in the evening we notified the staff and the head chef came out and spoke to myself to ensure he understood the allergies and made notes. The chefs then would make separate fresh food for our son both at breakfast and evening time. We were very impressed with the way the hotel catered for our sons needs each time we ate there. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and would always ensure we had everything we needed. Overall we were very happy with our stay and if we were to visit Amritsar again I would definitely stay here again. Sukh - Birmingham UK

The food at Kava restaurant was excellent! Plenty of choice and great service. Especially by Manorama. The location is also perfect and nearby Golden Temple and shops. The rooms are clean and comfortable. This was my second time at fairfield. It was great as usual

Great Hotel, Smart, Clean ..what you would expect from Marriott. Great location for a short tuk tuk ride to Golden Temple and located off the main and busy roads. Airport ride from airport and the Wagah Boarder. The service and food in the restaurant was exceptional. Breakfast was superb, book at time if making your reservation- cheaper. Dinner we ate there each evening, having a buffet of superb induan cuisine. Restaurant staff were fabulous, everyone stood out all for different reasons.

Property was nicely located near the train station. Difficult to find as its tucked away. Concierges and door staff are great as they speak fluent Punjabi but annoyingly the desk staff or restaurant staff only speak Hindii or English which means it is more difficult to be understood. Nice swimming pool too. Plenty of autos outside but they charge you more so walk down the road. Area is safe enough. 15 mins in an auto from the Harimandir Sahib and old town and ditto the nightlife in the other direction. Breakfast was fine but NO coffee only tea/ char. The aloo paratha and choley were excellent but had to wait an awful long time for the bhaturas.

The property is situated in a good locality . Very near to the city market and golden temple . Other than that , the breakfast buffet is good , service is moderately decent . The rooms , however are subpar and not enough attention has been given to housekeeping or maintaining the cleanliness of the room . I saw several spots on the floor with dust and lint and had a peculiar odor .The room vicinity was very noisy and it wasn’t quiet during the turn down hours .Constant sounds of room being closed loudly and things being dragged across making a lot of noise throughout the night (may be the floor I stayed had some maintenance room)

The staff were all brilliant. The hotel liv3d up to the Marriott standards and would have no hesitation in staying there again. Breakfast and dining I. General reall6 good and varied. The only slight criticism was that we had driver wi5h us and no provision made for him. All our hotels of a lesser standard did. I hope something can be done for the future.

Our stay at the Marriott has been by far the best while we have been in India. We arrived 3 hours before our check in time but as soon as our rooms were ready we were able to check in (2.5 hours early). The staff were friendly, helpful and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The restaurant was great for food and drinks. We also utilized the gym and pool which were a great bonus. Other than doing the tourist attractions we came to see we didn’t need to leave the hotel as we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend Fairfield by Marriott.

Our stay at the Marriott has been by far the best while we have been in India. We arrived 3 hours before our check in time but as soon as our rooms were ready we were able to check in (2.5 hours early). The staff were friendly, helpful and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The restaurant was great for food and drinks. We also utilized the gym and pool which were a great bonus. Amazing. Wonderful room - large comfortable bed, great shower. Very clean & kept clean daily by staff. All staff were fantastic & should be congratulated for their excellent customer service skills. Particular thanks to Prince, Rajan & Vishal at breakfast who anticipated our every need & encouraged us to try all the wonderful cuisine. The food was great - breakfast, lunch & dinner. Room service was prompt. Security guards were professional & helpful. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We hope to return.

Breakfast options were limited and repeated day in day out. We stayed for 3 days and 90% of dishes were same. 699+gst/pax is too high. Opt out of breakfast if staying more than one day. Not worth it. Rooms are not cleaned properly though staff are very polite and generous. Food tasted good but are too pricey. Per day stay cost is high may be cause of name. Otherwise it’s a simple 2-3 star hotel with lot many rooms.

This was a truly memorable hotel during my month-long trip to India. The staff's friendliness was, without a doubt, top-notch. Room and hotel looked okay. The breakfast was great. Sadly the hotel pool was awful as it was just used by the pigeons and no one was taking care of it. We did not use it. We also tried to book massages in room and staff kept saying they would get back to us, but didn’t. Service for tea in lobby was very slow. Would not stay again

Staff couldn't be more helpful. The front desk team, the breakfast and dinner dining room teams, bar team and clearing staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and interested in their jobs. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The food was delicious and the chef made me something within my dietary limits! I was very happy that they also had soy milk for coffee!!! A beautiful hotel. The pool was a great way to escape the heat. It would have been nice to have more shade so we could stay up there longer, but it was too hot. Over all a wonderful stay

Unfortunately, this was not a pleasant day as the bedrooms had mould and cracks on the walls the bathroom the curtains even though we had booked 6 to 7 rooms between all our family members somehow the Customer Service was not great at all and they refused to do anything about it. This swimming pools had pigeons in it which were drinking and leaving poo in. Overall the hotel just wasn’t family friendly or adequate for the pricing that they charge. I don’t think I would ever recommend sending anyone here at dinner day one of the family members had asthma and mould is the worst thing possibly for this.

It was a disappointment for a Marriott hotel. Far from the main attractions and the room I was in was very worn and not well kept although clean, despite it being a superior king room. Whilst we were offered an alternative room, we declined as that was no better. Breakfast was a let down but evening meals a la carte were good. Swimming pool was not appealing - it appeared it was polluted with the city air and to such a degree you couldn't see the rungs of the steps clearly. I felt there was not enough fresh air circulating in hotel at all. There was air freshner machines in numerous places and stuff being sprayed to deter mosquitoes. I found it difficult to breathe here
