We’ve just checked out after an excellent 3 night stay here and felt like I needed to review this hotel because the staff and the experience was so good! The staff were extremely attentive and were happy to assist with anything we needed, even offering advice on busses or to make dinner reservations for us. There is a lift to the rooms which is very handy when you have heavy luggage. We didn’t have the correct travel adapter for our phone chargers, no problem, the reception staff had spares they could lend to us which we returned on check out. The rooms and hallways of the hotel are stylishly renovated in a renaissance Italian style which is very chic. We stayed in a “classic” double room, which had everything we needed. Comfy bed, safe for valuables, lovely bathroom with a big walk-in rainfall shower, aircon, electric points either side of the bed for phone chargers and plenty of space to store luggage and relax. The hotel is near the river on a quiet street which is far enough away from the bustling centre of Florence but also close enough that everything is only a 10minute walk. Thank you for a lovely stay, when we come back to Florence in future we will definitely stay here!

This hotel was absolutely gorgeous. Everything was very clean with modern amenities, but felt like you were staying in an old Italian mansion. The location is super convenient as well. Just a few minutes walk from all the major attractions, but it’s set on a very quiet side street. The staff was also very helpful with booking cabs and reservations. Will absolutely stay here again.

Volonté de présentation moyennageuse, Murs de la chambre laissés en l'état après décapage pour faire anciens, douche désuète,coupure 24h chauffage et eau chaude sans dédommagement,pas de petit déjeuner,pas de café offert ni boulloire ni machine à café quelconque, pas de kleenex, literie pas confortable ,réception fermée à 18h,aucun geste après un vol,par contre proximité des sites touristiques, mais nécessité de parking en garage, circulation interdite.

This place is simply the best. The location, amenities, staff, room, everything was perfect. Hot water, nice shower, cold ac, comfortable bed and pillows. We really enjoyed our stay here and will stay here again when we return to Firenze (Florence).

WOW! Beautiful amazing property with an absolutely stunning view. Our room was beautiful, cozy, clean and comfortable. When I first walked into our room the first thing I said to my husband was “Wow”, this is what I pictured Italy to be like. We were treated like royalty by the staff. Great location within walking distance to everything in Florence. I would highly recommend this property.

We’ve been to many 5 star hotels and let me tell you honestly - I would choose this place over them! We experienced an exceptional stay that started with a warm welcome at the front desk and continued with great service throughout the 3 nights we stayed here. The staff was genuinely friendly and always ready to help for any questions. The location is great - it’s close to all major landmarks but also on a quiet street away from noise and crowds. The residence is extremely clean and well kept. My favourite thing though was the room. As an interior design enthusiast, I was impressed by the curated interiors and vintage decor touches making it personal and unique. The bathroom was luxurious and squeaky clean. Overall, can’t say enough good things and we’ll definitely be recommending them to all our friends and family. Thank you Residenza La Musa Amarcord for making our stay in Florence so memorable and special! Can’t wait to come back :)

It was a great place, staff outstanding the room super clean although must understand it’s an historical building with frescoes and so the paint seems old. Everything was perfect and more. If I’ve to go to Florence I definitely go there again

Amaizing place just outside of the center by the river. Room was clean and comfortable, with lots of oruginal features which gave it a charming feel. Daily cleaning privided. The sfaff are lovely and very helpful. We checked in late but clear instructions were given which wrre easy to follow making check in easy. A great place to stay whilst exploring Florence. I highly recommend staying here!

Very impressed with the service. They reached out to us the day before to unsure heck in would be seemless. Went above and beyond for our honeymoon. Walkable to all main attractions. Room was beautiful clean and very unique.

Love, love this place! I would recommend this quaint inn to anyone visiting Florence. In an enviable location easily walkable to the all the sites, as well as amazing restaurants and shops. The staff immediately makes you feel welcomed and eager to help with recommendations and arrangements. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed incorporating historic architectural details and modern updates. We felt at home here and hope to come back soon!

Stunning property with exceptional staff. The room was very large, well lit, had multiple reading and sitting areas, and was beautifully decorated. The area was quiet while being very centrally located. Lots of shopping, museums, dining options, and scenic walking paths nearby. We will stay here again when we return!

Beautiful hotel. Close to everything and super comfortable (great bathroom and comfy bed/pillows). The design is very cool and aligned with the city vibe. We stayed in different cities/hotels in Italy and this was the best of all of the hotels. Book it, don’t hesitate. We will totally stay here again if we go back to Florence.

This is a boutique style rooms. Very clean and decorated beautiful. Very comfortable beds and spacious. We stayed in the superior room and would go back for sure! Easy to walk to everything in Florence, restaurants and shopping. It was the perfect location to stay. Great customer service and breakfast was great. Book it!

We had a charmingly decorated room in this botique hotel. The location is really terrific--close to everything including many eateries, some quite afforedable. The hotel provides free Italian (continental) breakfast. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Too negatives--there was a lot of noise at night, which is not the hotel's fault, but it is in the heart of Florence in an area where there are nightspots. Second is that the hot water could have been more plentiful in the shower and bath.

Hotel is in a great location, close to lots of great restaurants and bars for the evening. It’s decorated beautifully, particularly the bathrooms although the shower temperature was a little temperamental but manageable. We visited in late march and while the outside temperature was ambient the temperature inside our room was very high and the aircon was still set to heat. We did speak to the staff about this and were told to try opening the windows instead but the proximity to the river meant this brought in a large amount of mosquitoes. Overall a lovely hotel just a slightly hotter than preferred sleep

The design is exquisite—artistic, luxurious, and full of character. Every detail feels intentional and inspired, like staying inside a living museum of elegance. The staff was incredibly kind, particularly Marina, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. From personalized recommendations to thoughtful little touches in the room, they made us feel truly taken care of. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable, with a perfect mix of modern amenities and historic charm. Waking up and having coffee by the window with views of Florence’s rooftops was magical. The location couldn’t be better—tucked away just enough to feel peaceful, yet within walking distance of everything: the Duomo, Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, and endless incredible restaurants and shops. This was, without question, one of the most memorable and special hotel stays we’ve ever had. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

This place is simply the best. The location, amenities, staff, room, everything was perfect. Hot water, nice shower, cold ac, comfortable bed and pillows. We really enjoyed our stay here and will stay here again when we return to Firenze (Florence).

Location just 5 minutes from train station. Very quiet and on the canal, it’s a beautiful spot for coffee or a cocktail. Room was fully equip with amenities, the staff was extremely helpful. The king bed was very comfortable.

highly recommended! Perfect location. It is quiet but close to everything. The staff is excellent and very attentive. They also accommodated my early check in request which I appreciate.

This boutique hotel is such a hidden gem in Florence! It is located in a prime location right off of the waterway but it is on a quiet street. The front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful with booking airport transport. The room was absolutely beautiful, very elegantly designed with cultural touches. We were beyond impressed with the hotel and hope to be back someday!

We’ve just checked out after an excellent 3 night stay here and felt like I needed to review this hotel because the staff and the experience was so good! The staff were extremely attentive and were happy to assist with anything we needed, even offering advice on busses or to make dinner reservations for us. There is a lift to the rooms which is very handy when you have heavy luggage. We didn’t have the correct travel adapter for our phone chargers, no problem, the reception staff had spares they could lend to us which we returned on check out. The rooms and hallways of the hotel are stylishly renovated in a renaissance Italian style which is very chic. We stayed in a “classic” double room, which had everything we needed. Comfy bed, safe for valuables, lovely bathroom with a big walk-in rainfall shower, aircon, electric points either side of the bed for phone chargers and plenty of space to store luggage and relax. The hotel is near the river on a quiet street which is far enough away from the bustling centre of Florence but also close enough that everything is only a 10minute walk. This hotel was absolutely gorgeous. Everything was very clean with modern amenities, but felt like you were staying in an old Italian mansion. The location is super convenient as well. Just a few minutes walk from all the major attractions, but it’s set on a very quiet side street. The staff was also very helpful with booking cabs and reservations. Will absolutely stay here again.

Very impressed with the service. They reached out to us the day before to unsure heck in would be seemless. Went above and beyond for our honeymoon. Walkable to all main attractions. Room was beautiful clean and very unique.

Stunning property with exceptional staff. The room was very large, well lit, had multiple reading and sitting areas, and was beautifully decorated. The area was quiet while being very centrally located. Lots of shopping, museums, dining options, and scenic walking paths nearby. We will stay here again when we return!

A great find, a small property with only 7 rooms but the decor was great with a very spacious room and the staff fantastic. Only a 4 minute walk to the Ufizzi Gallery and 15 to the Duomo.

We had a charmingly decorated room in this botique hotel. The location is really terrific--close to everything including many eateries, some quite afforedable. The hotel provides free Italian (continental) breakfast. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Too negatives--there was a lot of noise at night, which is not the hotel's fault, but it is in the heart of Florence in an area where there are nightspots. Second is that the hot water could have been more plentiful in the shower and bath.

Review for Residenzia La Musa, Florence ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolute gem in the heart of Florence! Residenzia La Musa is one of those rare places that feels like a dream the moment you step inside. The design is exquisite—artistic, luxurious, and full of character. Every detail feels intentional and inspired, like staying inside a living museum of elegance. The staff was incredibly kind, particularly Marina, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. From personalized recommendations to thoughtful little touches in the room, they made us feel truly taken care of. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable, with a perfect mix of modern amenities and historic charm. Waking up and having coffee by the window with views of Florence’s rooftops was magical. The location couldn’t be better—tucked away just enough to feel peaceful, yet within walking distance of everything: the Duomo, Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, and endless incredible restaurants and shops. This was, without question, one of the most memorable and special hotel stays we’ve ever had. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

This is a boutique style rooms. Very clean and decorated beautiful. Very comfortable beds and spacious. We stayed in the superior room and would go back for sure! Easy to walk to everything in Florence, restaurants and shopping. It was the perfect location to stay. Great customer service and breakfast was great. Book it!

This hotel by far was one of my favorite! I have not one negative thing to say. It was absolutely incredible! Beautiful! We had a suite! They serve breakfast too. Gorgeous breakfast room. Staff could not do enough. Bed was so comfortable. This hotel is an absolute must. Close to everything. You can walk to all the must see! This hotel is a 10 out of 10!

Everything was absolutely phenomenal. The staff were incredibly kind, warm and out going. They were instantly welcoming and friendly. The property and staff all exceeded expectation. We were planning on visiting the Uffizi and some of the basilicas after checking out and they allowed us to keep our bags there through the afternoon which was very kind. Breakfast and coffee was great. I cannot say enough complimentary things about the Residenza. It is the quintessential Florence experience with its aesthetic, location right near the Arno and Ponte Vecchio, and lovely people. We will undoubtedly be staying agin for our next visit to Florence.
