Ippokampos Town Apartments

Lägenheten var bra, ligger nära stan och ippokampis Beach Front där man kan äta frukost. Nära till stranden Agios Gergios. Trevlig och hjälpsam persona.

The room was dark, smaller and in poorer condition than the listing photos suggested. There was a persistent smell of cigarettes and garbage, apparently coming from the waste/service area directly outside the windows. The air conditioning was poor, and we also found hair in the shower and bed. We were travelling with our four-year-old son and did not feel comfortable staying for the rest of the booking. On the first evening, I raised concerns about the smell, size and general condition of the room and asked to move. After checking the computer, staff told me that no other rooms were available, leaving me with the clear impression that nothing could be done. The next morning, I arranged and paid for alternative accommodation and checked out early. Only after I returned the key, mentioned a refund and contacted Hotels.com did the hotel offer a room at another property. By then, I had already paid elsewhere, based on the information their staff had given me. I requested a refund only for the unused nights. The hotel refused, which was within its rights, but then claimed we had given them no opportunity to resolve the problem. That is not what happened: I raised my concerns and requested another room before leaving. Their later messages became defensive and accusatory, placing the blame on us rather than addressing the issues raised. I have visited Naxos several times and usually had excellent stays. This experience was very different, and I would not return.

A beautiful family run business. Highly recommend a great place to stay. And thank you for the beautiful breakfasts and a special homemade slice every morning.

In general, it was a nice appartement. It was clean and had a good location. The main issue we had was the noise. The sound isolation is quite poor and therefor you would hear every car or motor that would pass by the appartement. Also, the shower head was broken and would spray water everywhere. The drying rack at the front of the appartement was also broken. If they would improve these things it would be a great accommodation.

Vi hadde et fint opphold på Ippokampus! Resepsjonisten, George, ordnet et fantastisk opplegg til oss til den dagen vi leide bil. Takk! Hotellet ligger veldig få minutters gange fra stranden, sentralt i Naxos by og var alt i alt veldig bra.
