Très bien situé, en plein coeur de Funchal mais dans une rue calme. Terrasse agréable, propre. Climatisation de la chambre bien agréable. Bémols : ascenseur en panne durant tout notre séjour ; bruit très fort d'aération d'un immeuble voisin, se déclenchant jour et nuit.

This spacious appartment was in a central location, close to restaurants and bars. The main street and supermart/shopping centre just up the road. We enjoyed the large balcony which was north facing, offering some shade and good views of the town and hillside.

Alquilamos unos de lo áticos con terraza y fue un acierto! El apartamento cumple las expectativas, muy céntrico, instalaciones y menaje en la casa muy bien y completo. El único pero, el sofá es incómodo y las toallas, aunque limpias, igual necesitan una renovación. Pero esa terraza...lo compensa

The location was fantastic especially if you’re not renting a car. We loved the large deck it was nice to eat out. My only comment the pictures should be updated. The kitchen is not well equipped and somethings were a little tired.

Excelente localização! O apartamento tem tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia, cozinha bem equipada com tudo novo. Cama muito confortável e a limpeza excelente também. A melhorar a questão da água quente (ao segundo duche a água esfria) e fiquei sem perceber se podíamos usar o estendal da área de serviço. Faz falta estender uma toalha ou alguma roupa. Relativamente a estacionamento na área aconselho usar os Parques 2000 - 4.50 ao dia e a 7 minutos a pé do apartamento.

Check-In war super einfach und die Wohnung liegt in einer sehr guten, zentralen Lage. Die Wohnung ist schön sauber, jedoch ist in unserem Bad Schimmel gewesen. Für die kurze Zeit störte uns dies nicht groß, jedoch wäre es trotzdem deutlich schöner ohne. Ansonsten ist die Ausstattung top sowie der Kontakt mit dem Kundenservice.

Check-In war super einfach und die Wohnung liegt in einer sehr guten, zentralen Lage. Die Wohnung ist schön sauber, jedoch ist in unserem Bad Schimmel gewesen. The apartment is well located in the center of Funchal, nicely arranged but very loud. Not from the street but inside the house and other apartments. Sleeping was only possible with ear wax.

We had a really nice stay. It's small, but really cool furniture, walking distance to everything. We had an issue with the shower and it got solved straight away after texting them. The only negative thing is, that it is really loud outside day and night (as we had the 1st floor, windows to the street).

Very bad follow-ups on reported problems. We had to live with a sewage problem for our whole stay. Poorly equipped apartment. I would recommend to avoid An Island Apart.

I stayed in this flat vor 9 wonderfull days. The interior is good, the view as expected in downtown Funchal and it was most of the time quite. The flat is pefectly located near the main street of Downtown Funchal and the harbour.

This place was well furnished and lovely. At one point, the battery on the keypad died and I got locked out, and they were quick to fix it and problem solve. They were super responsive to any and all of my needs and questions. The bed was great, the location was perfect. I would highly recommend and stay again if I return to Madeira!

Had an excellent week in the apartment. Perfect location, lovely apartment. Super fast transfer from the airport using the service in the app, just 45 mins from bag collect to reaching the apt. Too many excellent restaurants to mention and just round the corner from the Ritz, which is good for people watching. There was a lack of mugs for a cup of tea, but have bought a couple so these should be left in the room for the next visitors. We have passed on the details to friends if they want to visit.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cet appartement. La situation géographique est parfaite, les principales attractions de Funchal peuvent se faire directement à pied et il y a plusieurs arrêts d'autobus à proximité. On trouve toutes les commodités à distance de marche (resto, épiceries, boutiques, etc). On a aussi beaucoup aimé la rapidité et l'efficacité de l'équipe du service à la clientèle. Chaque fois qu'on a eu une question, ils nous ont répondu en moins d'une heure. D'ailleurs, on a eu un petit problème avec la toilette et l'équipe de maintenance est arrivée dans l'heure qui a suivi. On réserverait assurément à nouveau à cet endroit si on revenait à Madère.

La situation géographique est parfaite, les principales attractions de Funchal peuvent se faire directement à pied et il y a plusieurs arrêts d'autobus à proximité. On trouve toutes les commodités à distance de marche (resto, épiceries, boutiques, etc). On a aussi beaucoup aimé la rapidité et l'efficacité de l'équipe du service à la clientèle. Chaque fois qu'on a eu une question, ils nous ont répondu en moins d'une heure. D'ailleurs, on a eu un petit problème avec la toilette et l'équipe de maintenance est arrivée dans l'heure qui a suivi. On réserverait assurément à nouveau à cet endroit si on revenait à Madère.

Centrally located apartment in Funchal. Spacious apartment with lots of light and a big roof terrace. Fully equipped from a coffee maker to a first class laundry room. If you like it urban with everything in walking distance, this is the place to stay.

I stayed in this flat vor 9 wonderfull days. The interior is good, the view as expected in downtown Funchal and it was most of the time quite. The flat is pefectly located near the main street of Downtown Funchal and the harbour.

Great place and convenient location in Funchal . Very spacious apartment , clean, quiet at night with street views.Kitchen fully equipped , common laundry and elevator or beautiful stairs to second floor. Highly recommend!!!

We had an amazing experience in Funchal. The apartment was in the perfect location. Easy access to shops and many fabulous restaurants including groceries; all an easy walk. Nice surprise to be part of some of the flower festival events. Enjoyed walking along the marina boardwalk and old town area. Apartment was clean and well equipped for all our needs. Would definitely stay here again.

We spent 10 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment matched the description and photos—spacious, clean, and comfortable. The living room was bright, with two large windows, one overlooking a charming street with restaurants and shops. The bedroom windows face an old, abandoned building, so we didn’t open them, but this wasn’t an issue for sleeping. Soundproofing between flats could be better, as is sometimes the case in older buildings, but it didn’t cause any significant problems. We would be happy to extend our stay if we return to Madeira and would recommend this place to others.

All good, but I think property should keep extra 4 AA batteries for the lock inside the studio, since it is powered by them. Also, please mention Santa Luzia parking as a recommendation, since it is not far away and is much cheaper then the ones mentioned in the listing.
