This is my third stay here. The location is great, there is on-street parking and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Plus there's a good breakfast selection.

Our room was very spacious, the location was very good and facilities also very good. Perhaps the only downside was our inconsiderate neighbours using the shared bathroom next to our room very noisily at all hours of the night and very early morning. Stonehaven is a wonderful hidden little gem and the nearby Dunnottar Castle was spectacular!

Very friendly staff operating the property and messages answered very quickly which is very helpful. Check in was easy, dining and kitchen facilities are very good with some nice touches to make the stay more welcoming. was allowed to do some washing and they provided detergent etc which is super nice. Room had some issues with the chairs but replaced immediately, some aspects of the room are needing updating. My room had shared bathroom, so that can be tricky to get in when you need and water not as hot if you are last in. Overall a very good stay, centrally located, was on foot so couldn't tell you about parking.

there was a stain on pillow, no amenities(shampoo/conditioner), toilet was not securely bolted to floor. Couldn't contact staff as they only gave phone number and no email. Breakfast was good

The moment I entered the property, I could see a dire need of vacuuming near the entrance. The first floor was quaint and fairly pretty and after a brief confusion about checking in, I realized that there was a brown packet with my name on it and the keys within it. I expected the bathroom to be attached to the room, but it wasn’t and I had to step out to another room for my bathroom. Not the end of the world, I lived in dorms in university, but it was a surprise nonetheless. The most very unpleasant part was the room itself. The moment I stepped in, I could feel my nose tickling, sure sign that the carpet was triggering my allergies. Room was at first glance clean, but there were some small stains on the carpet, thick cowebs in a corner of the rooms and some dead insects in the drawers of the bedside table. I found 1 live spiders in the room and 2 dead one. I put my keys back on the table downstair and left for Aberdeen soon after. I preferred to pay for 2 hotels for the same night than stay there.

Great room at the top of the building, the shower was really good. Breakfast was continental and a brilliant start to the day. Room was cleaned every day and wifi was great. If you have trouble with stairs ask for room 7 on the ground floor.

Great room at the top of the building, the shower was really good. Breakfast was continental and a brilliant start to the day. Room was cleaned every day and wifi was great. If you have trouble with stairs ask for room 7 on the ground floor.

There were no staff available on the premises at any time which felt strange. In my room shower head was rusty and plug did not work. Otherwise room was pleasant. Breakfast restricted to cold, helo yourself food.

Slight confusion at start as no email re accessing lock box. Owner responded promptly to query explained how to collect keys. Room had everything that we needed and further supplies hot drinks available down stairs in breakfast room. Good range of cereal, yog, pastries hot drinks toast etc.

Zeer gehorig, je hoort iedereen praten, snurken enz. Tijdens ons verblijf was er erg veel herrie van zatte mensen de hele nacht die aan het afteren waren op een van de kamers. Waardoor de hond van de kamer naast ons de hele nacht aansloeg. Verder niemand gezien van de B&B zelf. Lokatie was verder prima, badkamer was schoon.

Great stay in a location close to the Market Square. Room was clean and well presented. Nice touch to have a photo of Dunnottar Castle covering one wall, reminded me of my childhood and walking around the top of the cliffs to get there.

Great room at the top of the building, the shower was really good. Breakfast was continental and a brilliant start to the day. Room was cleaned every day and wifi was great. If you have trouble with stairs ask for room 7 on the ground floor.

This is my third stay here. The location is great, there is on-street parking and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Plus there's a good breakfast selection.

Had to carry our bags up 3 fights of stairs. Attic room with low ceilings head strike. Bed mattress set into frame which stuck out leading to bruised legs.Breakfast was great

I was in room 4 (single room) where the bathroom was across a 3 foot corridor. This wasn’t an issue really, as I never saw anyone from the two other rooms on that landing, the only thing I did have to remember was to take the door key with me or put the door on the snib so I could get back in! Bed comfortable and room spacious for a single. Breakfast room & kitchen both spacious. Owners welcoming and pleasant. Would stay here again.

Var to voksne og to barn på familierom og det opplevdes som romslig selv når sovesofaen var utslått. Alt var rent og pent. Stille og rolig område, kunne sove med vinduene åpne både mot gaten og mot bakgården. Veldig lytt mellom rom og gang, men etter kl.22 var alt helt stille. Savnet litt frisk frukt og sunnere alternativer til frokosten. Ca 5-10 minutter å gå til stranden, og ca 20 min å gå til togstasjonen med kofferter. Kommer gjerne tilbake hit.

Everything about this experience was so unique and warm. It made our stay in Stonehaven so memorable! Everything is so clean. The room even came with a fan which my husband relies on at home. The kitchen is well equipped to cook your food if needed and the option to use the clothes washer was a huge bonus. Breakfast options were plenty and the coffee machine was exactly what I needed!
