Very clean room. Good continental breakfast. They have two gambling machines by the lobby which I liked. The only thing maybe next time I need a room a little bit away from the front desk because there is noise at different times. Overall I liked the place.

We booked a suite, BUT THEY HAVE NO SUITES (i.e. separate bedrooms). They first put us in the wrong room: a standard king room (with a kitchen counter and sink) but did move us to our "suite", which was the same size but had a sofa bed (and no kitchen counter or sink). The room could have been better. (Dead and live beetles, bathtub mildew, backwards and loose faucet, loud road noise, etc.)

During my stay I captured a small beetle flying around my room. When I woke up the next morning I noticed they were all over my room. Everything seemed okay initially. When I returned with my dinner, I started flying around my room. I thought it was a fly at first but noticed it was a beetle. I showed the manager when he came to my room and he pointed out dead ones by the door. He never offered to change my room. It was the next day when I opened the curtains and used the chain to retract the blinds did I see the horror. There were dead bugs that fell out of the blinds. They landed on the window sill as I opened the blinds. There was one on my toilet seat. When I tried to flick it into the toilet water, it flew away. There were two more in the bathtub. I was grossed out. The worst part of it all, they were all in my bed. I must have killed some of them as there were remnants of dead, crushed beetles all over my bed. It was just disgusting! I will never go back! The hotel manager refuses to issue a refund. Stay away from this location. There are better hotels in Mauston.

The room was dirty. Vomit/urine on the front of the toilet and underneath the toilet seat. Hair on the floor and around the toilet. The mirror above the sink had water/toothpaste splashed on it. The bedding was stained, and the carpet had crumbs on it. We were offered to stay in a different room, but unfortunately, that one was not very clean either. We were supposed to stay 2 nights, but I cancelled our 2nd night. Still watching our credit card account to make sure we don't get charged for 2 nights.

Floor had dirt and debris along edges and under chair, all lamps dusty along with around microwave and coffe maker. The mirror in the bathroom had toothpaste all over that looked like it had been half wiped off. Toilet paper holder falling off the wall, the lock plate came of when we opened the door. The ONLY reason we didn't leave is because the other closest hotel was booked!

Stayed on second floor, could hear people on the floor above us simply moving around early the next morning…couldn’t rest well. Overall the room seemed dingy; unfinished carpentry around the baseboards, kind of a funky odor, etc. The only reason I would even call a “Comfort” Inn again is to ask where the nearest Hilton is.

Great location for your weekend or weekday activities. Short drive to Buckhorn SP or Wisconsin Dells to avoid some of the traffic. Easy on /off highway access without all the noise. Not Queen beds as advertised but still a nice size.

The room itself was great. Nice, big jacuzzi. Nice sized bathroom. The breakfast was good. Lots of hot choices with sausage, waffles. The downfall of the night was the rock hard bed. It was so uncomfortable and unfortunately my husband and I had a horrible sleep. The rest of the stay was great though.

My friend and I had a recent weekend stay. The beds were very comfy, the room very clean, the staff was friendly, helpful, and allowed us an additional hour to checkout. There was a good selection for breakfast though the dining area is very small. There was a wedding going on during the second evening of our stay, but it didn't affect us except for a few children running in the hallway which seemed to shake the whole floor. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

I have stayed in Comfort Inn properties before, and I had a good stay. This was my first unfavorable experience. Upon arrival it took a while to be checked in because there was one staff person working the desk who was responsible to answer internal/external calls and check-In guests. It was recommended by the staff person that I stay on the first floor for better comfort (Not sure why). This was a terrible decision. I could hear doors opening and closing as well as people talking in the hallway. That night I noted one flying bug which I thought was one nat. I would soon find out by the morning that this was an infestation. They were all over the walls/mirrors. I suspect that they were being pulled in by the AC which was facing a grassy/garden area. The rooms have individual units, not vents. I feel that they have too many things in one area. The dining, business/computer stools, and gambling machine are all in the same vacinity.

I have stayed in Comfort Inn properties before, and I had a good stay. This was my first unfavorable experience. Upon arrival it took a while to be checked in because there was one staff person working the desk who was responsible to answer internal/external calls and check-In guests. It was recommended by the staff person that I stay on the first floor for better comfort (Not sure why). This was a terrible decision. I could hear doors opening and closing as well as people talking in the hallway. That night I noted one flying bug which I thought was one nat. I would soon find out by the morning that this was an infestation. They were all over the walls/mirrors. I suspect that they were being pulled in by the AC which was facing a grassy/garden area. The rooms have individual units, not vents. We stayed there on 7/26-7/27. The hotel is nice and the room was clean but it was frustrating that the faucets were backwards. We would get hot water when we thought we were getting cold and vise versa. Also at 8:45am while I was still sleeping housekeeping came knocking on my door. Even though we put a door hanger that said "Please do not disturb" They were knocking incessantly so I got up and I was only a few steps towards the door and they unlocked it and tried to come in! I found this to be very rude and disrespectful.

As a Travel Nurse from Texas I was staying about 20 miles from my assigned job here in New Lisbon, Wisconsin. Then there was a BLIZZARD WARNING ALERT! I’ve never really drove in snow much less a blizzard!!!! So called here, it’s only 3 miles from job, and they let me ck in early so I can get ready for my night shift and then let me ck out a bit later so I could head straight to work from there. Everyone at desk were very accommodating. The room and bed very comfortable. The free morning breakfast hit the spot.

My friend and I had a recent weekend stay. The beds were very comfy, the room very clean, the staff was friendly, helpful, and allowed us an additional hour to checkout. There was a good selection for breakfast though the dining area is very small. There was a wedding going on during the second evening of our stay, but it didn't affect us except for a few children running in the hallway which seemed to shake the whole floor. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Great location for your weekend or weekday activities. Short drive to Buckhorn SP or Wisconsin Dells to avoid some of the traffic. Easy on /off highway access without all the noise. Not Queen beds as advertised but still a nice size.

Our atay was perfect. Staff very friendly and considerate. Breakfast options were better than some of the highend hotels i have stayed at. Only recomendation is to put signage at the street location. Extremely nice hotel hidden behind a TA truck stop and trees. Will sefinately visit again

Too crowded, too noisy, people were watching TV watching games at the lobby and keep yelling so loud, the parking is every where. I feel not safe and not even resting that night. The sounds heard from our room. Breakfast isn’t good the egg isn’t cook properly it’s watery mushy. I will not recommend this hotel at all!!!

We were disappointed from the moment we arrived. Walking into the lobby, the overwhelming smell of something like carpet deodorizer hits you, and you can’t even take a clear breath. I know you want to make your hotel smell clean, but that’s not the way to do it. To make it worse, the breakfast area is right off the lobby, so you have to endure the smell while trying to eat. No thanks. As for cleanliness…towels were stained and the mirror was streaky/cloudy. I thought they didn’t have an alarm clock, so I used my phone the first night. Second night, I noticed the clock was on the floor between nightstand and the wall, along with a candy wrapper and so much dust! C’mon folks, really?? The mattress was old and springy and desperately needs replacing, and the comforter was short-sheeted, so we had to completely remake the bed. Lastly, we were hoping to use the pool and spa, but this hotel allows the general public to come in and use the facilities, for a fee. Hotel is owned/run by foreigners, and not up to American standards. I won’t be staying here again.
