The room was immaculate. Staff was helpful. Good coffee in the morning. I loved the neighborhood--transportation, groceries, inexpensive Mexican and Guatemalan restaurants. Only problems were that the wifi was in-and-out and that the water shut off while I was in the shower (but it was back in 20 min.)

Very clean bedding and bathroom. Felt safe. Coffee in the lobby. Very convenient to restaurants and grocery stores. Internet went in and out. No mini-fridge. Hotel itself was very quiet, even with many children staying there. But lots of noise from outside, inc a couple in the parking lot blaring loud music starting at 5 a.m. and a group of men sitting on the curb drinking beer and playing very loud music in the eve. But I was glad to have cleanliness and safety at a discount price.

I usually don't write reviews. This hotel had a walking price of $150 but Orbitz had it for like $83. If I had paid $150 I would have been very disappointed. But for $83 it was adequate. Good Room was spacious. Free parking. Lots of stuff around like food and shopping. Staff was good. Bad Towels need an upgrade. Very poor quality and no face towels. No iron in room. No fridge. No microwave. No closet. Overall it was what I needed for an overnight hotel but not for a family trip.

I was there for 2 nights with friends. Everything was good, only thing I did not like is why is the elevator only runs from 8am-8pm ?? I felt unsafe having to walk the stairs and there are no phones inside the rooms ? But overall decent hotel for a decent price.

Honeymoon suite on 3rd floor had big roaches. They were dead but never picked up. We checked in late but nonetheless shouldn't be dirty like that. Tried giving this place a last chance because it's so pretty and close to work, but it's nasty.

The hotel is really run down, we had to change room because the first room we got was leaking water from the toilet, the light by the door would not turn off, and there were cockroaches in the middle of the night crawling on the toilet seat. The place is just really run down and had a humid smell. The beds felt like they were about to break and were not very comfortable with the sheets having a yellowish color and the paint in the wall chipping behind. I get that the area is not great but I’ve been to other places that at least are kept in working condition and clean. I am pretty disappointed but it was just too late in the day and we were too tired to book somewhere else. Don’t recommend unless it’s the only option. Gotta give it to the check in person though, at least he was kind and did not give me any trouble when I asked to check room, good customer service from him.

Looks like it is in a sketchy area, however very calm. A lot of food options, even for a late night snack. Room was clean and smelled clean. The rooms are indoor and they were able to monitor who went in.

This is a well-kept and very clean inn. It is much better than a Motel 6 and very quiet and peaceful as far as vagrants and loitering people are concerned. There is a mini-mart across the street and not much else. Not recommended if you don’t have a car. The rooms are clean and comfy, but the lack of mini fridge and lack of basic tv (they don’t even have local channels) really brought my experience down.

Staff was very friendly even though we arrived pretty late at night. Lobby is beautiful. The whole hotel even though it's older is very clean and well kept. Only thing is the road outside is pretty noisy. I'd suggest headphones if you're a light sleeper.

Communication from the hotel was excellent.The front desk staff at this hotel were exemplary. The first room we were given was too far from the modem and we could not access the internet. They immediately move us to another room. This hotel is obviously very old and in a not very nice part of town. It didn't feel clean.

No bathroom door, upgraded room same size as regular king size room but remodeled? No bathroom door so not so private and every little sound can be heard by who you share the room with. Motion activated light near the door goes on if you get out of bed in the middle of the night, waking up your partner. No carpet so hallway sounds are amplified. Some food items were left in the trash from prior guests, and a little cigarette smoke odor in the room. Nice front desk people, OK if you are trying to save a few bucks- less $ than a brand name place

I stayed here before in the first floor room was great, now I book the same room but I was place on the 3rd floor complete different experience bed wasn't comfortable the mattress was terrible curtain in the bathroom was falling multiple times I would not recommend it. First fool and 3 floor was like to different places.

Our stay at the maywood inn was pretty awesome. I would defiantly wouldn’t mind staying their again in the future with my fiancé. The pricing for the jacuzzi room is a great deal. I loved the amount of space that the bathroom had and just the whole set up.

All the staff is friendly, they make you feel welcomed. Jorge, Omar, Fausto, Jeffery and Art are the point of contact at reception they're always smiling, helpful make check in/out very easy and fast, housekeeping is also friendly on top of everything.

Me and my girlfriend loved this day here. Located in a good central area of LA which was very convenient. I booked two separate reservations and had to cancel one of them. I let the staff know when I got there and they accommodated me and we’re easy to work with and friendly. Room was clean. Great day and a great price.

Me and my girlfriend loved this day here. Located in a good central area of LA which was very convenient. I booked two separate reservations and had to cancel one of them. I let the staff know when I got there and they accommodated me and we’re easy to work with and friendly. Room was clean. Great day and a great price.

Looks like it is in a sketchy area, however very calm. A lot of food options, even for a late night snack. Room was clean and smelled clean. The rooms are indoor and they were able to monitor who went in.

The room was immaculate. Staff was helpful. Good coffee in the morning. I loved the neighborhood--transportation, groceries, inexpensive Mexican and Guatemalan restaurants. Only problems were that the wifi was in-and-out and that the water shut off while I was in the shower (but it was back in 20 min.)

Very clean bedding and bathroom. Felt safe. Coffee in the lobby. Very convenient to restaurants and grocery stores. Internet went in and out. No mini-fridge. Hotel itself was very quiet, even with many children staying there. But lots of noise from outside, inc a couple in the parking lot blaring loud music starting at 5 a.m. and a group of men sitting on the curb drinking beer and playing very loud music in the eve. But I was glad to have cleanliness and safety at a discount price.

On the good side, the room itself is quite spacious, especially for the price being paid. Check-in and check-out were also very quick and seamless. On the other hand, we quickly found specks of dirt and random hairs in pretty much all of the linens and around the sink. We wondered if the room had actually been cleaned before we got there. On top of that, the motion sensing lights were more of an annoyance than anything else. The one in the entrance would turn itself on just while we were in the bed trying to fall asleep. How is anybody supposed to sleep like this? The staff member that we called about this wasn't that helpful and just suggested we find a napkin or something else to cover the sensor. There was also one in the bathroom that would wake the other person up immediately if one of us tried to go into the bathroom, no matter how quietly. There were also a lot of sudden, loud noises from the air conditioner and plumbing, but these were easier to get used to than the lights. Would not recommend this place, especially if traveling with others.

This place overall was really good. The spacious room was really clean. Ac was cold. The bed was comfortable. My only complaint is that there was no fridge in the room nor a microwave in the room. Which was inconvenient for me.
