Airport hotel that charges more for their shuttle than an uber or taxi. The airport is only a 3 min drive away. We were told the shuttle was complimentary. And the rooftop bar is closed on Sundays. Otherwise, clean and comfortable.

Yet another beautiful stay at The Branksome..we arrived early and were given a swipe key to the pool and gym area so we were able to have a swim and shower while we waited for our room!! The pool was beautiful..as per usual!! Our room was beautiful aswel and the coffee was really lovely!! We went up to the roof top bar and the waitress made a really beautiful pina Colada..it was really lovely up there even tho it was raining!! We then went down to dinner and that was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! The steak dinner is probably the best I've ever had..and you can not go to The Branksome without trying the Wasabi prawns..they are beautiful!! The room was super warm when we got back to it and the bed was super comfy!! We had such a good nights sleep!! We had to be at the airport at 6am to go to Melbourne the next day and check out was really quick and hassle free!! Sooo incredibly happy with our stay..we will definitely be back again!! Thank you to all the beautiful staff for making our stay so perfect!!

Botany street nearby has several good dining choices. Staff very friendly. The room was excellent, clean had everything. Is close to anirport and Railroad but they seem to stop operating anround 10-11 pm. Only negative was the shuttle I had booked never came, Uber came fast though so no problem.

The property was very nice and close to SYD airport. Pool and sauna are fantastic. Breakfast is great with different options. Staff are nice. Beds are super hard so ask for a comforter at check in. Was clean but sofas could do with a steam clean. Found food scraps under the cushions and drink stains. Wasnt too bad and everything else was clean and fresh. Our room had a washer and dryer so was great to get some washing done before our next flight. Shuttle experience was fantastic. The Filipino driver (didnt catch his name) is super friendly and nice. Need more good people like him please! :)

From the outset, it was a rather disappointing experience. I arrived quite early in the morning from a long flight and I was hoping to check in a bit earlier, even if it meant I had to pay for their early check-in fee. However, I wasn’t given this option even though they state on the website check-in from 8am is available for a fee. I was told that housekeeping hadn’t started yet so no rooms would be ready. If housekeeping doesn’t start until later, why would you advertise that you can check in early for a fee? With nothing to do until later in the day and severely jet lagged, I spent money in their cafe/bar for 3 hours trying to pass some time until check-in. After going to ask reception a few more times about early check-in, they eventually checked me in around midday. The room was sterile in the worst way possible. It’s white, cold and old. Lots of white plastic surfaces, white walls, and steel appliances. The bathroom felt like a public bathroom. The bed was hard as nails and gave me a bad back. The balcony was filthy. But the worst thing in my opinion was how many labels, stickers and warning signs were plastered all over the room. I get that it’s important to list safety features etc but I don’t need to be reminded that I can’t smoke in this room, can’t cook heavily on the stove etc. Every wall had something on it with applicable fines attached. Lastly, it took 3 weeks, several emails and a phone call to my bank to get my deposit back.

The last 2 occasions i have notice a decline in the cleanliness of the bathrooms which i reported and this time i noticed no improvement in the conditions. Additionally the room door card opener had failed and it took 12 hours to get it working. Every time i left my room i had to have go to reception and have someone from reception come up and let me have access to my room. I must have waisted more than an hour waiting on 3 seperate occasions. I doubt i will stay there again.

The hotel was very clean, easy to access, pool/gym and sauna were pristine, outstanding food and to top it off the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The apartments had everything I needed plus more. I will definitely be returning.

Spacious, well appointed & clean apartment, convenient to domestic airport. Pool & gym are good. Big negative is the super hard bed - could not sleep on it. The only harder bed I've slept on is a bamboo matt on the floor of a mud hut in the H'mong hills in Thailand. I requested a mattress topper from housekeeping but it did not turn up, and had to chase up a $20 f&b credit, so communication can be improved.

Clean, well appointed, large suite. Full kitchen and laundry. Decent gym and had a really nice appetiser from the restaurant (using a $20 food and beverage credit). The view from the balcony was of a main road and the airport… so hardly beautiful but pretty unique! Surprisingly I was not at all bothered by the noise so the soundproofing was great. I didn’t use the ear plugs they provided. The vibe of an airport hotel is strange… a mix of disgruntled bused-in passengers from cancelled flights mixed with excited families about to jet off on their holidays.

Good location, just a few minutes drive from the airport - with no intrusive aircraft noise. We had a one bedroom apartment, which was well furnished, and equipped. We enjoyed the large furnished terrace. A range of shops, cafes and restaurants just a few minutes walk away.

Everything from check in to check out was exemplary of luxury. From the room, to the pool, to the staff being so nice and friendly. There is a rooftop bar which is so aesthetically pleasing with good music, delicious beverages and food. The location is perfectly close to the airport with a well priced shuttle bus that was on time. Hats off to everyone at this location, I will definitely be staying again!

No smiles and take way way way too long. A request for ice bucket was met with 'call from your room, not my job' attitude. No smile again. He looked tired and didn't want to be there. We were also very tired checking in after 10pm after a long day. But patiently waited in life for more than half hour then then the coldness and slowness of the the check-in process. I've checked in at many hotels of lower class than Branksome and honestly, checkin was 5 star, in and out Beautiful hotel but I won't be back purely based on this experience

Have stayed many times in past years but this time communication seemed poor. We had numerous occasions where one staff member confirmed our request and then the next day the staff at registration couldn’t find any notes about for our room. Complimentary breakfast, later check out time and payment made for the airport shuttle were the communication issues but all were rectified in the end. I found out that many new staff had been hired and were still trainees. I would ask for a room facing opposite the airport, train tracks and highway because it sure was louder than the rooms we had before. We still love all the Branksome has to offer and how convenient it is to the airport, restaurants, and the Mascot train station.

Great pool, great set up in the apartment except coffee machine would not go. Nice breakfast and staff in restaurant excellent. However reception exceptionally slow, had problems understanding, should have more cash at reception. Tried to pay for hotel shuttle with cash and breakfast, but no change . Also had great problems getting VIP discount. Also had issues with the lift, would not stop on our floor.

Terrible desk service. Restaurant + service were amazing. Our room key didn’t work I called down to reception but no one came, so I went down + got a new key. Our 2nd bedroom was locked. I tried to call down to reception from inside room but the phone was broken. So I went to hall + called. No one came so I went down again. Guy finally came + unlocked 2nd room. It smelt + couldn’t open window. None of the windows would open just the 2 doors onto balcony. Mattresses were so hard + uncomfortable. I slept on mattress on floor in lounge as the room smelt so bad + couldn’t open a window or any ventilation in the bathroom. Never again.

The room was booked as a double room and when checking in we were told it was a double room. And then it wasn’t configured for that—the door to the second bedroom hadn’t been unlocked and someone had to come up late at night to sort that out. Not great when we’d been travelling. We’d just been driving but can’t imagine how that would have been for a group flying in or a family with overtired children. One of the swipe keys let us into a different room (which we found out when trying to work out if that was meant to be our second bedroom). That was then replaced, but the replacement wasn’t set up for the carpark. Beds weren’t very comfortable. not just a firm mattress, just not a very good firm mattress. Conditioner pump was broken in one of the bathrooms. Very minor, but the housekeeping replaced towels when they didn’t need to be (we had hung them up), but then other things weren’t done like glasses replaced. The digital concierge wasn’t actually there at all Some of these were fairly minor, but just highlighted deficiencies in attention to detail or quality. Positive things: staff were mostly friendly and were always helpful. The rooms were very clean and had lots of space.

The hotel didnt communicate that we had VIP benefits. They alsobdidnt offer our $20 credit and also double charged us for parking until i argued with them and explained that i had the $20 credit and parking included with my hotel rate. Was surprised with the dishonesty.

Nice accommodation, easy to park nearby but the reception staff needs more training. Breakfast staff is unnecessarily rude. The sign at front of breakfast lounge says “wait to be seated” but they just stare at you and expect you to help yourself. We ordered a black coffee with our meals and went to get hot water because coffee was too strong and they watch you like a hawk to make sure you’re not trying to take something you haven't paid for.

When we arrived the reception there was a waiting line, and we were in the line waited patiently. There was only 2 people working at the reception, one is a gentleman and a young lady. The young lady chose to ignore us to service 2 groups of people who were after us. When it was happened the first time, I said“excuse me” was trying to get her attention, she ignored. After she finished with this group, she left the reception then came back so she definitely saw us. But instead of looking at us, she greeted to another couple who just arrived. We were so pissed of her discrimination or whatever you call the behaviour. The other gentleman who was working with her helped us and said sorry on behalf of her.

The hotel is excellent and far above most airport hotels. The location however is not close to airport, shuttle is fore. Fee and is not owned by hotel. There are some small stores within walking distance of hotel but groceries are extremely limited and very expensive so I really didn’t like the location at all and would not stay there again. The kitchen did not have what is needed and microwave was impossible to use, something that I have never experienced in my years of travel. All other services were good and room was great although in a two bedroom air conditioning should not be shared. In order for one room to be cofortable the other room either had to be stifling hot or icy cold and the maintenance crew was unable to do anything about the problem other than explain that it was on a single control.

Good location, just a few minutes drive from the airport - with no intrusive aircraft noise. We had a one bedroom apartment, which was well furnished, and equipped. We enjoyed the large furnished terrace. A range of shops, cafes and restaurants just a few minutes walk away.

Everything from check in to check out was exemplary of luxury. From the room, to the pool, to the staff being so nice and friendly. There is a rooftop bar which is so aesthetically pleasing with good music, delicious beverages and food. The location is perfectly close to the airport with a well priced shuttle bus that was on time. Hats off to everyone at this location, I will definitely be staying again!

Property was conveniently located, clean and comfortable. We only had 24hrs in Sydney but would stay here again in future. We ordered room service for dinner via the in room digital concierge, which was efficient, food was delicious and reasonably priced. Buffet breakfast was well stocked with plenty to choose from.

We were given a room early, was not charged for overstaying by half hour to feed the baby. Restaurant had a fantastic green Thai curry and they didn’t kick us out at closing. Pool area was nice, room was clean, shower was great!! Staff were lovely too.

Stumbled across this hotel whilst searching for one to stay the night before an international flight. Very nice hotel and facilities. However I think the bars must not have much foot traffic, because anything carbonated we ordered was dead flat. Otherwise, was a good overall experience and would stay here again. Very close to domestic terminal and just a short drive to the international airport.

The food we had was terrible - sent eggs benedict back twice - eggs still overcooked & rubbery & sauce cold; bread dry (rating 1 our of 10) and expensive. Needed to try 4 rooms to find one that wind noise screaming throughmain apartment intake vent would have precluded sleeping anywhere in apartment. Initial room facing airport had dirty area with debris and railroad tracks immediately behind it that are in regular use (impacting sleep and use of balcony) - the airport transport is subcontracted out and was expensive as the hotel is some distance from International airport. Carpet in living room stained and dirty. All in all an extremely disappointing stay.

There's a bit of noise with some things walls, and the water in the shower smelled a bit sulfer-ish which wasn't great, but it did the job. The staff are warm and friendly but do lack a bit of training and somehow I was charged three times for the incidentals hold. They said it refunds in 3-5 business days so we will see if that happens or I'd I'll have to email them but overall it was fine.
