Loved this place! Lots of character and interesting decor, comfy bed, nice bathroom, fantastic breakfast spread, decent Wi-Fi, secure parking and was a great base camp to explore Sintra. But the owner and staff were the best part. I had a terrible migraine one day and they were bending over backwards to try and help me and offered ice packs & medication, and asked how I was the next day. It’s hard to be sick away from home, and to have them be that nice and compassionate meant a lot to me. I would have left 5 stars even if I hadn’t been sick, but know you’ll be in good hands with really nice people.

Unique design and style, amazing breakfast ( freshly baked goods). Rooms are phenomenal. Area is ok. But you can drive 15-20 min and find restaurants. You have to have a car otherwise there is nothing around it. Parking is on the street.

Absolutely beautiful immaculate house with a fabulous collection of eclectic art. Mr Vitorino was hugely welcoming and accommodating despite us arriving midday and leaving early the next morning (left a fabulous breakfast for us which we very much appreciated). Would have loved to have stayed longer to appreciate the wonderful amenities including the garden and swimming pool.

This is a lovely little boutique hotel in a pretty, small town close enough for all the attractions of Sintra but far enough away that it is not swarming with tourists. The hosts are very kind and helpful. The beds are comfortable and everything is very clean. There is a spotless swimming pool in a handkerchief sized garden full of beautiful flowers. The breakfast is delicious. Highly recommend! Just be aware that you will have to arrange your arrival time so someone can let you into the gated property. There is a little bell that is not immediately obvious to the left of the gate.

This is a beautiful place. Our room was spacious and comfortable. It was behind a wall and after some initial worry about how to get in we saw a doorbell to ring. The staff is friendly and welcoming and he even brought drinks to our room for us as we were exhausted after bicycling in from Lisbon. Our quad room was plenty of space for our group.

Great breakfast we had just left Hilton Porto Hilton can learn how to serve a continental breakfast from Vila Vitorino! Parking was great a smaller space but large compared to some of the other property in Sintra.

The 2nd oldest Chalet in Portugal with so much charm. Staff is attentive and the property is clean and well maintained. Great location away from all the crowds yet close enough to everything. Midway between the city center and the beach Praia Grande..will definitely go back.

Beautiful hotel. Breakfast was very nice. The room was very small and only 3 stars because we had an issue with ants in our room. Not just a couple, we woke up to our bags, clothes, bed being covered with ants. We went to the front desk but was told there was nothing they could do. We had to completely unpack and shake everything out into the shower and wash the ants down. Mind you we were finding ants for 2 days. It was by far the most bizarre part of our trip.

La Vila es espectacular. Bonita casa, bonito jardin, servicio y trato extraordinario ...Merece la pena su desayuno-buffet con frutas, zumos, tartas dulces y saladas caseras, cruasanes, todo recien horneado. El exterior ruidoso pero muy bien aislado el edificio y dentro no hay un solo ruido y se duerme estupendamente. Volveremos sin duda. Un 10.

Uma agradável surpresa. Experiência se de hospedar num palecete, com obras de artes pra todos os lados. Atendimento impecável do Vitorino e sua equipe. O quarto é enorme, muito confortável Cama gigante com cobertas e travesseiros de qualidade superior. Chuveiro maravilhoso. A gente se sentiu morando num palacio real. Café da manha simples porem gostoso. Realmente eu recomendo muito.

Amazing place to stay! The rooms are beautiful, actually the whole place is! The beds are probably the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in. Its all the little details that make this place so incredible. The artwork, the decor, the homemade breakfasts. The owners and staff were super nice! The vila is in the small town of Colares and is a short drive into Sintra. We wanted to stay near Sintra, but wanted to avoid the crowds and Vila Vitorino was perfect! Great price for what you get, if we ever come back to Portugal, we will definitely stay here again. Loved it!!

That is a beautiful property! The bedroom is so nice and the bedsheets were the most comfortable thing. The breakfast was also great. Vitorino is a very welcoming host.

This is a lovely little boutique hotel in a pretty, small town close enough for all the attractions of Sintra but far enough away that it is not swarming with tourists. The hosts are very kind and helpful. The beds are comfortable and everything is very clean. There is a spotless swimming pool in a handkerchief sized garden full of beautiful flowers. The breakfast is delicious. Highly recommend! Just be aware that you will have to arrange your arrival time so someone can let you into the gated property. There is a little bell that is not immediately obvious to the left of the gate.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Vitorino. Pros: It is absolutely stunning. A house from the 16th century turned into a hotel. The grounds are beautiful, the hotel is luxurious, clean, beautiful. This is a beautiful place. Our room was spacious and comfortable. It was behind a wall and after some initial worry about how to get in we saw a doorbell to ring. The staff is friendly and welcoming and he even brought drinks to our room for us as we were exhausted after bicycling in from Lisbon. Our quad room was plenty of space for our group.

Its all the little details that make this place so incredible. The artwork, the decor, the homemade breakfasts. The owners and staff were super nice! The vila is in the small town of Colares and is a short drive into Sintra. We wanted to stay near Sintra, but wanted to avoid the crowds and Vila Vitorino was perfect! Great price for what you get, if we ever come back to Portugal, we will definitely stay here again. Loved it!!

Não reparei que a recepção do hotel fechava. Recebi vários e-mails do Vitorino mas estava sem internet. Cheguei depois do horário e Vitorino foi muito atencioso. Agradeço muito por ter voltado ao hotel para me receber. O hotel é lindíssimo, um casarão antigo muito bem decorado. Experiência incrível! Belo café da manhã! Pastel de nata quentinho. Amei tudo!!

Beautiful property, delicious breakfast and wonderful hosts. We are looking forward to coming back and staying at Vila Vitorino at the end of our trip before we fly home. Great location and just an Uber away to anywhere you need to go. Highly recommend the restaurant that was recommended to us by the hosts - Moinho Dom Quixote - the view and food were incredible.

Unique design and style, amazing breakfast ( freshly baked goods). Rooms are phenomenal. Area is ok. But you can drive 15-20 min and find restaurants. You have to have a car otherwise there is nothing around it. Parking is on the street.

Bonita casa, bonito jardin, servicio y trato extraordinario ...Merece la pena su desayuno-buffet con frutas, zumos, tartas dulces y saladas caseras, cruasanes, todo recien horneado. El exterior ruidoso pero muy bien aislado el edificio y dentro no hay un solo ruido y se duerme estupendamente. Volveremos sin duda. Un 10.

The house has a narrow driveway suitable for no more than two, at most three small cars, but we were charged Euros 5/ day for space that simply isn't there. To get in an out took multiple back and forth maneuvers, risk of scraping the vehicle against the wall or another vehicle. The property is set at a busy intersection of several roads and getting in and out was very nerve-wracking. Very noisy at night! The beautifully and comfortably decorated room did little to help against the night traffic noise or early morning rush hour. Advice: Do not book this place if you intend to park a car, or if you find traffic noise disturbing.

Beautiful hotel. Breakfast was very nice. The room was very small and only 3 stars because we had an issue with ants in our room. Not just a couple, we woke up to our bags, clothes, bed being covered with ants. We went to the front desk but was told there was nothing they could do. We had to completely unpack and shake everything out into the shower and wash the ants down. Mind you we were finding ants for 2 days. It was by far the most bizarre part of our trip.
