The pub/hotel is on the Main Street across from the petrol station so we expected it to be noisy but thankfully it wasn’t in the room. You check in at the bar which can be problematic if you bring your luggage in with you as it can be packed with bar patrons. The rooms are in a separate building which is quite new, parking is first come first serve for both hotel and general public so we had to park down the street until we could find one closer. Dinner at the pub was good, but recommended that you also book a table as we almost didn’t get fed! Breakfast had a good menu and was quickly delivered.

Very hot in rooms with no fan but overall a good stay , the location is a little too far from Bath or Bristol for night out at either. Outside dining area could be improved as was on a main road area with views of the car park

The staff were brilliant, friendly and very helpful. The pub bar was bright and cheerful with very good beers on tap and cracking food. The bedroom was small but modern, warm and well appointed. The walk in shower was better than ours at home and the car park had a hook up for evs. Totally awesome

Stayed for one night November 2023 - lovely and friendly owners who couldn’t do enough to help. Room was a little on the small side but spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. The road outside is a little noisy but doesn’t get busy until about 7am. Breakfast the next morning was absolutely lovely. The hotel is in a nice location, halfway between Bristol and Bath, with regular bus service to Glastonbury, Bristol and Bath, and lots of nice walks close by. The car park also has an EV charger. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed at this property for one night prior to our flight. The property was easy to find and on arrival staff were accommodating and friendly! The bar had a good atmosphere and the cocktails were delicious. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed! Breakfast was next level - best cooked breakfast we’ve had. Thanks for such a great stay!

Nice clean comfortable rooms, easy parking if you arrive before 6pm. Food and service is fantastic, upper end of good value. Breakfast included is very good.

The room was clean and comfy and well designed. Had a meal in the restaurant on the evening and was delicious and really good quality. The breakfast was excellent, great produce and presentation although would liked to have had some fresh fruit or cereal as a choice.

This is the hotel with the worst service attitude I have ever stayed in. Due to the mistake of the hotel, they gave me the wrong room. The manager not only didn't change it for me, but also had a very bad attitude. The room is very old and simple, and there is a small dirty place in my life.

Faultless - food was incredible, staff were friendly and helpful, manager couldn't do enough for us, room was spotlessly clean, bed very comfortable, would highly recommend, I would definitely stay again

Usually the stay here is ok but hotel room wasn’t particularly clean, the staff could do with some food safety training, the chef kept touching his face and then the food. Missed out on breakfast because was told the wrong time :(

We enjoyed a brief one night stay at the Temple Inn. Rooms are small but functional and aside a lightbulb being out, everything was fine. The pub itself where we eat and breakfasted was excellent the home cooked food both dinner and breakfast was excellent, the staff were attentive and engaging and we enjoyed the food greatly. Good choice...

Nice place and modern but the bedding could have been better (pillows espdcially which were battered and flat). Road noise doesn’t bother me but if you’re a light sleeper you have lorries passing right next to the windows day and night.

Not that great experience.. hardly any choice of menu and breakfast… Charges were too high, we paid 264 GBP for 2 night stay with the room size hardly 8*8 feet… No courtesy when we were leaving at 7 AM in the morning, they simply said We cannot provide anything around 7 AM and our kitchen operates post 830 AM itself… no connectivity to Bristol village etc ….

Pleasant staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Good ensuite. Compact room, fine for single occupation, would be cramped for two. May be other rooms cater for two guests. Food was good. As property is situated on a main road which made locating it easy, some heavy traffic noise at times. Overall a pleasant stay and would book again.

Book here you won’t regret it .Adam and Lee were wonderful hosts.Adam went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.The Restaurant meals were to a very good standard and top quality whilst retaining is home cooked feel.The pub was a small village bar with a wonderful friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The Beds were very comfortable, the bedroom and bathroom was very clean and comfortable. There was tea making facilities and the tea coffee tray was well stocked. Small Fans were supplied in our rooms (so after reading some old reviews regarding the rooms being hot before I booked to stay here), I’m happy to say this was NOT an issue for us at all and the temperature was very comfortable. My biggest observation is what a wonderful ambience that Adam and Lee have created in their hotel/pub and it sure shows in how relaxed, kind and happy their staff are. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay

Nice pub and hotel, stayed for two nights, breakfast was a hearty one, staff very friendly especially the polish breakfast come chambermaid lady , thanks for your service . Only minus points : no chairs in the room , had to get them from the garden. Would stay again.

The rooms are in a separate building which is quite new, parking is first come first serve for both hotel and general public so we had to park down the street until we could find one closer. Dinner at the pub was good, but recommended that you also book a table as we almost didn’t get fed! Breakfast had a good menu and was quickly delivered.
The pub/hotel is on the Main Street across from the petrol station so we expected it to be noisy but thankfully it wasn’t in the room. You check in at the bar which can be problematic if you bring your luggage in with you as it can be packed with bar patrons. Nice place and modern but the bedding could have been better (pillows espdcially which were battered and flat). Road noise doesn’t bother me but if you’re a light sleeper you have lorries passing right next to the windows day and night.

Very hot in rooms with no fan but overall a good stay , the location is a little too far from Bath or Bristol for night out at either. Outside dining area could be improved as was on a main road area with views of the car park

Pleasant staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Good ensuite. Compact room, fine for single occupation, would be cramped for two. May be other rooms cater for two guests. Food was good. As property is situated on a main road which made locating it easy, some heavy traffic noise at times. Overall a pleasant stay and would book again.

Excellent guest house just off to the side of the pub so it is lovely and quite. It is modern, clean and warm. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely stunning! We had the veggie breakfast and the full breakfast and it was cooked to perfection. The staff where wonderful and even pointed us to the closest take away after the kitchen closed. Very close to Bristol and rural enough to get away from the busy city life.

We arrived after reception had closeed but adam remained to meet us when we arrived. We were asked what we wanted for breakfast and it was generally good. Only negative is that it is situated on a main road which has heavy traffic which can affect some light sleepers.

Stayed for one night November 2023 - lovely and friendly owners who couldn’t do enough to help. Room was a little on the small side but spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. The road outside is a little noisy but doesn’t get busy until about 7am. Breakfast the next morning was absolutely lovely. The hotel is in a nice location, halfway between Bristol and Bath, with regular bus service to Glastonbury, Bristol and Bath, and lots of nice walks close by. The car park also has an EV charger. We would definitely stay again.

Very lovely overnight stay: we had a wonderful meal in the pub and a very comfortable night in the guest room. The accommodation is modern, clean and warm with everything you need, the dinner and breakfast were delicious and the welcome and service was incredibly hospitable. We had 2 rooms, (two couples) and we will definitely stay here again. About 25 minute drive from Bath city centre

We enjoyed a brief one night stay at the Temple Inn. Rooms are small but functional and aside a lightbulb being out, everything was fine. The pub itself where we eat and breakfasted was excellent the home cooked food both dinner and breakfast was excellent, the staff were attentive and engaging and we enjoyed the food greatly. Good choice...

The room was clean and comfy and well designed. Had a meal in the restaurant on the evening and was delicious and really good quality. The breakfast was excellent, great produce and presentation although would liked to have had some fresh fruit or cereal as a choice.

Usually the stay here is ok but hotel room wasn’t particularly clean, the staff could do with some food safety training, the chef kept touching his face and then the food. Missed out on breakfast because was told the wrong time :(

Lovely staff and a really comfy bed. Breakfast took a long time to arrive as there was only one member of staff waitressing, and only the BBC channels worked on the TV in the bedroom. The car parking situation isn’t ideal. Unless you arrive late in the evening after diners have left the pub you are lucky if you’re able to park.

The rooms are in a modern separate block next to the pub. Ours was clean, tidy with a comfortable bed and excellent bathroom. No air con but a modern fan provided a welcome alternative. The rooms have 4 dedicated off road parking bays as well as those in the pub car park. Check in is via the pub and staff were very friendly and helpful. Food menu was varied and offered a really good wide choice with discounts on certain nights. We chose the 12" Pizzas and they were excellent with different twists on ingredients to the norm. Breakfast was also very good and plentiful and catered for vegetarian options. If there is one criticism it would be about the chairs and seating in the pub itself. They are in serious need of change and are unfortunately badly stained. Having said that we did learn that the pub/hotel is under recent new ownership with plans to upgrade facilities are in the pipeline. All in all we had a pleasant enjoyable stay and would stay again if we are in the area. Too many of these establishments are having to close so they deserve to be patronised. Good luck and best wishes to the new owners.
