ZEN Boutique Hoi An - Eco-Friendly Villa

The hotel was fine, the room was spacious and clean. The staff was frustrating though. At check in they asked if was going to pay with a credit card or cash, when I said credit card they said no and told me I needed to go to the ATM. They just kept telling me no saying credit cards were too expensive for them. With no consideration that ATMs were expensive for me. Then they gave me a 10 minute sales pitch for different shops and tours. When I tried to interrupt to say I had already booked the tours I wanted, they didn't care and just kept going. And they kept trying to sell me something every time they saw me. I had to avoid the reception area to get some peace. And then at check out they again tried to tell me no when I wanted to use me card. I was only able to check out after I gave them all the cash I had and then they let me use my card for the rest. Overall, nice hotel, but overwhelming staff.

Love the place and the staffs who attend your needs when ask for help. Excellent breakfast! Would definitely recommended for friends and family.
