Avista Grande Phuket Karon - MGallery

Second stay at the Avista Grand in Karon Beach and it truly feels like my home away from home now. Such a peaceful, relaxing hotel and I absolutely love staying here. The pool is incredible, the breakfast is amazing, and the spa experience feels so luxurious every single time. The location is perfect. Very close to the beach and only a short walk to shops and restaurants. If you’re travelling with kids who want waterslides and lots of activities, there are probably other resorts better suited for that. But if you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay, this place is perfection. The staff are all so genuinely lovely and made my stay extra special… but HUGE shoutout to Tiwa & Milk at the front desk who truly went above and beyond for me, nothing was ever a problem! Yoki & Tik in the spa for the beautiful massages & facials, Koy from room service for always making the room feel so lovely, Vince at breakfast who was always so happy, warm and kind and even remembered my coffee order every single morning, and Sagar who made my delicious omelettes each day and was always so friendly ☺️ Already counting down until my next visit! Cannot wait to come back 💗

숙소가 멋지고 좋아서 가족들모두 기억에남을 추억을 쌓고 왔어요. 직원도 너무 친절해서 제가 요구한 사항들이 반영이되어서 더 기뻤어요. 상대적으로 먼 비행으로 힘들었지만 숙소는 아름다웠어요. 추천합니다~ 다만 공항에서는 많이멀어요.

Well maintained and great staff.

Clean room, amazing staff and nice pool and sun terrace, with fab roof top bar for cocktails at sunset. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Also, great food in the main restaurant for lunch / dinner - excellent value for half board. Beach at Karon was very crowded so didn’t visit, but well worth going to Nai Harn beach which is 15 - 20 mins away by taxi and is lovely. Overall, a little run down & not a 5 star hotel, but fantastic staff and great value make this a good base to explore what Phuket has to offer.

Vår vistelse på hotellet var tyvärr en stor besvikelse. Rummet var smutsigt vid ankomst och städningen fungerade inte alls som den skulle. En dag kom städerskorna inte trots att vi specifikt hade bett om att få rummet städat. Dessutom var badrocken på rummet uppenbart använd – det låg både hår och en hårsnodd i fickan, vilket kändes väldigt ofräscht och oacceptabelt. Poolen var också under all kritik och mycket smutsig, vilket gjorde att man inte ens ville använda den. Det enda positiva med vistelsen var maten, som höll mycket hög klass. I övrigt var upplevelsen tyvärr rent ut sagt dålig och levde inte alls upp till förväntningarna.
