Novelty Hotel

Do not believe the "amazing" reviews or the 5-star rating by Google. This is considered a boutique hotel and there is only 1 front desk person (no other staff). When we first got here, we had insane amount of luggage and I had a medical procedure done so I couldn't even help lift them over 5-6 flights of stairs. My wife had to bring all of them BY HERSELF to the lobby. The guy kept saying "We don't have anyone, sorry." I understand that you don't have anyone else, but you YOURSELF could have helped her. He just sat there. I was crying inside and I just wanted to get out of there from right then. Even after we brought all of them, he didn't even bother to look at us; I really wanted to say "Do you know what service means?" When we got to our room, it was so small that we couldn't even fit all of our luggages there. I banged my foot on the bed several times. In addition, there was no nice "city" view as the hotel booking had promised us. Additionally, the Wifi was ONLY available in the rooms and even that wasn't working. My wife and I had told the guy several times. It just worked for a minute and then it just shut off; we gave up and we just had to use OUR data/hotspot to do school/other work. Also, the room temperature was controlled by them and each front guy told us different things; sometimes, it got too cold and when we told him to make it warm, it got too warm. We wanted to leave ASAP and complained to no avail (the manager said no refunds).

2人で泊まったのでそれぞれにカードキーをいただけたのは助かりました。1人が疲れて帰りたいときや、バザールではぐれてしまった時など、助かると思います。 ただ、カードキーの感度が2枚ともよくなく、何度もドアにかざして成功率1割でした。 どなたかも口コミで書かれてましたが、地下鉄グリーンンライン「Vezneclier」にもT1線にも近く、主要な旧市街の見どころへ徒歩15分くらいで行けるのでとても便利でした。ただ大きくて重いスーツケースを持ってきてある方は入口の急な階段は苦労されると思います。 朝ごはんも目玉焼きやスクランブルエッグなど好みを聞いてくださって、出来立てをサービスしていただけるのはうれしかったです。 トプカプ宮殿やバシリカに入場前から並ばないといけなくて、ゆっくり食べている時間がなかったのは仕方ないですが。

Pro: Close to Metro and light rail station. Con: AC is central controlled. Lack of air circulation in the bathroom resulting in foul smell.

Très bel hôtel dans une rue au calme , belle chambre , sanitaires au top , propreté .emplacement idéal pour visiter .personnel très gentils Juste quelques remarques constructives : manque gobelet verre dans la salle de bains , manque machine expresso pour le petit déjeuner

Wish the AC was better

It is shown that this hotel is 5 star hotel based on which we made our reservation. The hotel is not more than 3 stars. The location is difficult to reach, the street is narrow, the Entrance is high (you need to climb sharp stairs to reach, the lobby is small, the elevator is also so small. The people are friendly and very nice. However the general evaluation is not good.

We definitely enjoyed our stay at the Novel Hotel. Very clean and nicely renovated. The breakfast area is a bit small and the plates would smell like eggs sometimes but the staff was very helpful and kind. The location is great too, close to a tramway station and in a good safe area. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel :)

I don’t know how they rated this hotel as a 5 star hotel!!!! The front desk had only one associate & the elder one had a very bad attitude and he gave me the room that the door lock and the safe both were broken , when I told him instead of saying sorry he was mad at me.The hallway & the breakfast area was very warm . They had a very simple breakfast and most of them were laying there in the warm room for hours, not on the ice or cooling stuff. I couldn’t even eat the breakfast, The towels are all ripped and some of them had holes too. The housekeeper staff & breakfast ladies were very nice.

O hotel está muito bem localizado na parte velha da cidade. O hotel tem um café da manhã simples, mas muito gostoso. A atendente do café da manhã é muito simpática e faz um omelete delicioso. O quarto é amplo e limpo. A única coisa é que as toalhas eram mais velhas. Teve um dia que a toalha tinha dois furos grandes, mas fora isso recomendo o hotel.

Fantastic hotel, very clean. Short walk to tram. Close to Metro which we took from airport but not advisable. lots of waking between stations, confusing plus huge crowds. Take taxi for $35.

Tolles Hotel mit freundlichen personal. Alles sehr sauber.

Location of the hotel was in easy walking distance to the trams and the Grand bizarre. Room was very clean and a good size. Kettle and fridge. Room was cleaned and bed made every day. Breakfast was lovely with a great choice. Very quiet at night bed very comfortable. All the staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Already decided that we will be returning. Excellent hotel

Otel temiz. Sessiz. Çalışanlar guleryuzlu. Kahvaltı standart. Bazi havluları yenilenebilir. Konum iyi.

Rooms are clean, towels are old, staff at night is very helpful, breakfast is good, shops and Dinings are nearby.

La struttura è pulita con camere confortevoli. Il personale è attento e disponibile. La prima colazione è sempre fresca e varia. Un grazie al personale del piano per la pulizia della camera che risultava sempre impeccabile e un grazie speciale alle signore del servizio colazione per i loro sorrisi e la loro gentilezza.

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, sowohl an der Rezeption als auch der Zimmerservice. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen, die Metro ist eine Kreuzung weiter und die Straßenbahn ist nur einen kurzen Fußweg entfernt, somit ist man schnell in der Altstadt aber auch z.B. in Taksim. Das Frühstück ist gut, könnte nur etwas mehr Auswahl haben. Ich würde dieses Hotel wieder buchen und auch weiterempfehlen.

In einer Seitenstraße ruhig gelegen. ÖPNV in wenigen Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen. Kleine, saubere Zimmer. Einfaches aber gutes Frühstück. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter.

Super friendly staff in the breakfast room made the start to the holiday and each day a real pleasure. The room was always beautifully cleaned. The bed and pillow could have been a little more comfortable but that is personal preference. A little more coffee in the room would have been nice for the coffee in bed in the morning and at the end of the day.

Otel fiyat/performans olarak çok başarılı. Odalar ve banyo temiz, nevresimler, havlular vs. temiz. Otel çok merkezi bir yerde ve metroya/tramvaya ulaşım yürüyerek sadece 3dk. Odaların ses yalıtımı oldukça başarılı gece uyurken dışarıdan ses duymuyorsunuz. Genel olarak çok başarılı.

Sehr freundliches Personal, geräumige Zimmer mit bequemem Qing-Size-Bett und extrem sauber überall.

The only negatives was the hard beds… very uncomfortable and the breakfast was poor , area is perfect and hotel is new and very clean

Super Unterkunft! Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Der Rezeptionist hat uns sogar für eine Nacht sein Fahrradschloss geliehen und und hat uns am nächsten Tag geholfen ein Deopt für die Fahrräder zu finden. Super Service, sehr nett und nur zu empfehlen diese Unterkunft! 5 Sterne!

I like to stay at this hotel. The staff are all very nice. Breakfast people always give you very warm welcome. Location is very convenient to everything.

Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe von der Straßenbahn und der U-Bahn. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es wäre schön, wenn die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption etwas freundlicher wären. Ansonsten waren alle anderen sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir waren mit diesem Hotel sehr zufrieden.

Staffs deserve A

The staff were very attentive. As soon as we walked in they greeted you and asked if we wanted omelettes.

Hotel is good but not excellent. Receptionist was so rude to us. Buffet breakfast staff are so wonderful & welcoming but receptionist was bad. Room was Okay.

Amazing staff, location is perfect very close to metro station, shopping and restaurants. Hotel is super clean and beds are so comfortable.

Posizione strategica, mezzi facilmente raggiungibili. Posizionato nella parte storica della città, è perfetto x visitare monumenti storici, la sera c è moltameno movida rispetto a piazza Taksim. Prezzo adeguato. Una lode la merita la cuoca, brava e gentile, ti fa sentire a casa anche parlando lingue diverse.

Excellent hotel. Clean and its in good condition Perfect location, everything is around and close Ayasofya mosque is 11 min walk away or less than 2 min if ur taking the Train from sultan Ahmed Metro station on block away. You can visit Gatata, Taksim … etc by the subway no need to take a Taxi You can us the Metro to come or go to the airport during operation time. 10/10

Hotel is in a really good location, not only is it very close to the Grand Bazar and the Haga Sophia Mosque, but also a 3 minute walk to either the tram or the Metro. There are restaurants very close by.It's a small hotel, beds, shower etc. are absolutly fine. Breakfast is adequate, the only complaint I might have is that the coffee for breakfast was very bland and flavourless.

Super clean The hotel is super clean - I did not ask if they have recently renovated but everything in the room is very clean and it appears there has been a lot of attention to detail with the interior design and furnishing. Convenient location - Walk to Havaist #12 airport shuttle bus stop and metro station Aksatay - Very short walk to T1 ( main tourist route) tram station (3min) - Within walking distance to Grand Bazzar Quiet While this place is close to many tourist attractions, it is quiet at night. Friendly and helpful Staff Free breakfast The ladies at the kitchen offer to make fresh omelet and lentil soups for us every morning. We’ll definitely come back again.

War kein 5 Sterne hotel. Aber Personal war sehr Freundlich und Positiv. Sehr saubere Zimmer und Hotel. Hotel Standort war beste 2 min mit Fußläufig Metro und U-Bahn. Aber leider Frühstück jeden Tag gleich, muss bißchen ändern. Aufjedenfall ich besuche nochmal
