Hampton Inn Marathon - Florida Keys

Loved the pool, tiki bar, dock, breakfast, ping pong table, parking, and the staff was the best!!! Great place!

Great location, has a pool bar and you can get food out by the pool.

Comfortable setting, nice pool and jacuzzi, as well as a decent breakfast included

Loved the free laundry facility. It was definetly a bonus.

It’s a great location with nice staff. The pool was rather dirty, I had to use the net to take all the dead bugs out for our 6 year old. Also, some of the trash that was out by the pool the day before was still there the next day. But the beds were clean and that’s one of the most important things for us when traveling.

Great location! Car parking in front of room was convenient. They have a washing machine and a dryer to use. The pool area is nice and has a ping pong table. Breakfast was great and had a lot of options to choose from.

Have been to this property twice first in 2019 where there was no charge for nightly car parking so I was surprised to find a charge now applies.also the pool area had bar open which was shut this time so if you wanted a beverage you had to go inside hotel to get one also pool area looked very tired and in need of updating. Saying that the hotel is located bang opposite the best bar & restaurant The Island Fish Co which is superb.

Breakfast area was nice! Pool area needs some cleaning! Water bottles should be given to guests like the other Hampton Inns we have stayed in!

Amenities were excellent. Staff very friendly.Breakfast very good.Love the free laundry and parking.🙂

This is our 5th time staying here. Has a great pool area and bar, games. Now there is a $10 per day parking that i was not aware of but it was ok.

We love to stay at The Hampton Hotel when we travel to different places, but I was taken aback at the cleanliness of our room. Obvious grunge in the corners of the room and bathroom. The shower stall needed a deep cleaning as well, especially the corners. Around the bottom of the toilet needed cleaning as well. The room temperature was easily controlled so that was nice. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection to choose from. And finally, the grounds around The Hampton were well maintained.

I stayed here with my children and partner. The reception area and the breakfast space were very clean and modern, which I really appreciated. In the dining area, there is a TV, but I didn’t like the channel they had on—it was showing political content. Since the hotel welcomes guests from different backgrounds, I think it would be better to keep the TV channel neutral. The pool area was fine. However, I was disappointed with the room. It clearly needs maintenance—the bathroom was in poor condition and looked dirty. The ceiling showed signs of humidity, and although it seems they tried to repair it, the work was poorly done. Overall, the room definitely needs improvement.

Room needs to be sprayed for ants and floor was dirty

The hotel was clean for the most part. Check-in (night)was a bit of a hassle, do to the front desk not being able to communicate well, also trying to give is a room that we didn't reserve. Once in the room there was hair shower,eye lens on the bed and bathroom air duck was dirtyyy.

Arrived on Wednesday. Expected our room to be cleaned on Friday per the every other day schedule. Was gone all day and came back to nothing being cleaned. Had to request clean towels. The floors were absolutely filthy. Had to wash our feet after taking a shower and walking to the bedroom on the dirty floors. Couldn’t even put our shoes on without washing our feet. Paying over $300 per day, I would expect to get my room cleaned on schedule!

The room was decent for the price we paid. There were no bugs and the room was 90% clean. The shower floor had some strings and hair on it. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful as were the housekeeping crew. The first 2 days, the breakfast attendant was awful. Unfriendly, left multiple items unstocked, hid out in the kitchen on her phone. The first day we had to knock on the door 5X for items that were empty and buffet was a mess. She kept hiding the waffle iron spray in the cabinet?! Days 3&4 the gentleman was on the ball! Kept things stocked and everything wiped down, even tables. The bedroom area was SO dark. No overhead lights, only one bedside lamp and a small lamp on one of the desks. The desk chair was really worn and hard. The hassocks under the second desk were useless, too low and leg missing. The AC unit was really loud and made a horrible rattling noise which got twice as loud when the compressor turned on. The hotel's response was to move us. It would have taken us senior ladies 2 hours and a lot of work to pack everything up, move, and unpack/set up again! That's too much to ask. Room shouldn't have been rented. The handles on the under sink cabinet doors are on the floor instead at the top of the doors so they can be opened easily. A larger trash can should be available instead of the tiny one just inside the bedroom area as it doubles for the kitchen trash. There were no bathroom drawers, only slide out plates so they were useless.

Arrival and check in went very smoothly. Staff was friendly. Upon check-in, we found dirty sheets and the room had a heavy mildew odor. Front desk staff was kind and quickly moved us to a second room. This room was worse than the first. More dirty sheets with large black smudges, and large chunks of hair on the floor of the bathroom. Lower walls and baseboards were so incredibly dirty. I invited front desk staff up to see the room before they put us in a 3rd room. Third room had more large clumps of hair and dirty walls, dust blowing out of AC unit. We turned on the AC and 4 hours later it was still only 76 degrees. Went to front desk AGAIN and had them come up to see for themselves. They offered to move us to yet another room. We were literally shuffled from one dirty room to another all afternoon. Was told that there was no manager available until morning so I emailed her. Took pictures and video of all the rooms to share with staff but no reply until 3 days later. We cancelled our remaining days and moved on to another accomodation. Was very disappointed in this level of service and cleanliness in Hampton inn.

Overall beautiful property. You don't see the water, as like it photos are taken from an aerial view. The rooms were a bit dirty, bathroom especially. Dirty baseboards, mold in shower grout, water damaged baseboards. Hallway smelled of pet urine. I guess expected for a pet friendly hotel. Good location. Good gym. Breakfast area and lobby were nicely decorated and confortable.

Stayed there three days could not have been happier. Everything was perfect. Staff was very accommodating and the place was very clean.

Room was clean-ish. One outlet right by the bed kept making clicking sounds…

Centrally located to Florida keys easy parking. One of the elevators that was closest to our room out of order so made in inconvienent to load our luggage up to 2nd floor. Not enough electric outlets near bedside for charging personal items. Shampoo was low not filled for showering needs. Bed was very comfortable and room temperature nice and cool.

The building was cared for. The carpet in the room smelled a little funky. There are no views of the water from the rooms. It appears pictures are old since the trees now block the ocean water. I wish there was more honesty when showing accomadations.

I really liked the ice and water dispenser you had at breakfast, the one in Key Largo didn't have that. Also your bed was way comfier. The view was very nice too and it was a hop skip and a jump to many restaurants.

Supposed to have a water view, but did not. AC didn't work well Maintenance guy was working in his work area right outside our door and it was loud.

The air conditioning didn't work approximately. We had a super hot all five days. I had a cancellation problem due to family problems. And the hotel never had the option to help me. It was always a resounding no. I never wanted my money back, I just needed to cancel. Just think about it and read well before renting in that hotel.

He said ok and supposedly got us a quiet second floor room. It was also very hard to understand the clerk's English. We got up on the second floor and learned he had given us room keys for first floor. We were tired and just went ahead and settled in the first floor. I went back to the desk later because the Wi fi was not working. I told him that he gave us a first floor room. He was totally surprised and kept asking me my name and when we checked in like he didn't remember me. I just said don't worry about it , and he helped with the Wi fi. He was courteous and helpful, but he messed up and is hard to understand.

The rooms were nice. But the AC fan would not run constantly all night.

The staff was really great!! Our check in went smoothly and the gentleman at the counter was knowledgeable about the area. The gentleman at the bar was very nice and helped us even though it was late. Our room was clean and bright. Love this property!

The hotel was great. Li at the front desk was extremely helpful. It was clean and breakfast was good.

Checked in at 8pm, and we were warmly greeted by Mr. Li at the front desk. He was very friendly and answered questions in great detail.

The check in process was smooth and efficient. Mr Li ensured all my needs were addressed, providing clear information about hotel’s amenities, answering my questions with clarity and patience.

We loved our stay here. All of the employees are super-friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. The hotel itself is very clean and housekeeping does a wonderful job keeping it that way. A shout out to John, Donna, Louis and many others that went out of their way for us. Highly recommend!!

We had an amazing stay at the Hampton Inn in Marathon! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had such a relaxing atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond — the front desk even surprised me with complimentary snacks for my birthday, which made the stay extra special! 🎉 The room was spacious and cozy, breakfast had a great variety, and the pool area was beautiful. The location is perfect — close to beaches, restaurants, and everything the Keys have to offer. We’ll definitely be coming back! 🌴💙

Property location was convenient, quiet with nice views and walkable to nearby restaurants.

Great place with excellent service. I could even plug our car into a 110v outlet located on the south side of the main lobby!! I liked the location of the hotel in order to do a day trip to Key West.

Nice pool, excellent breakfast options, nice rooms. Well worth it. Central Keys location, can see everything with a short drive.

One of the best properties I’ve stayed at! Hampton Inns in Florida always to the beat with the climate. Not mild smell, perfectly clean, and always have a great breakfast!

Hotel was very nice with an upgraded bathroom . Breakfast was just so so. Bland food, but enough to get you going. However to charge 10.00 to park seems excessive.

The hotel lobby and sitting area was very nice and comfortable. The eating area for breakfast was the nicest we have seen. The breakfast was also very good and the area kept clean. I understand they only clean and provide new towels every other day. It would have been nice to have clean sheets during our 3 night stay and the shower cleaned.
