This awesome boutique hotel is at the end of an alley, so no through traffic- very quiet and good value- some of the friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever come in contact with. The food was delicious and the service amazing The only feedback would be to invest in the rooftop to make the area more comfortable. I am definitely wanting to come back!!!! I enjoyed my stay, and very good value - thank you

Kumari Boutique Hotel was a lovely surprise - the rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. Staff were so friendly and checkin was speedy and easy. The restaurant has a great selection on the menu and the food is very tasty. Would recommend!!

Great location - walkable to most things I wanted to do. Front desk was super helpful booking a day trip out of the city. Breakfast was great and easy. Room was clean and comfortable & a comfortable bed and nice sheets. The tv had english chanels, which was a perk to keep myself entertained with jet lag. pickup and drop off at airport was arranged with the front desk an was seamless. no complains - nice stay for the price!

Room 304 - there was an elevator. I had an amazing 2 night stay at this Kumari Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu, Nepal. They offer an airport pickup service ($10 USD). I guy was waiting for me with a name plate. The ride through Kathmandu was about 20 minutes. The check-in and receptionist was extremely pleasant and efficient. There is a full, daily continental buffet (made to order omelets, pancakes, eggs, fruit, bread, cereal, fresh juice, etc). It's a convenient lo action into the touristy part of Kathmandu. Restaurants and stores are within a 5-10 minute walk. My suite had a TV and mini fridge. It was clean. I would definitely recommend it, and if/when I'm in Kathmandu again, I will stay here. No complaints.

Kumari Boutique Hotel is a great place to stay if you want to be walking distance from shops, restaurants, Darbur Square, and the royal palace. It is very clean, the facilities are modern, and the staff is extremely kind and helpful. They provide an airport shuttle for any time of day or night and the staff is very responsive to all communication. Before I arrived I checked in with them about our changing arrival times and they always responded immediately which was really reassuring when coming from so far away! It is a cozy place to stay and has a little inn type of feel. I will absolutely stay there again if I return to Kathmandu.

The location of the hotel is also along a quiet street of Thamel that keeps us away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets, and yet remains within walking distance to your restaurants, outdoor gear shops and trekking agencies. One minor complaint I have is that the street is not very car friendly. Because it is at a dead-end, vehicles will find it challenging trying to get out (they have to reverse out). It does not look like that in Google Maps, but the street in front of Hotel Mulberry in fact belongs to Hotel Mulberry and has a gate that prevents cars from passing through directly (pedestrians can walk through without an issue). This might be a slight inconvenience when you are trying to get a taxi right at the door step of the hotel.

Stayed at lovely Kumari Hotel for only two days, before moving on to the meditation retreat that brought me to Nepal, and I am so happy that I decided on this property. The hotel is super conveniently located, my room was spotless and cozy, and the staff made me feel like a vip at all times. First time in Nepal, and I would come back to this property over and over again! Thank you for your amazing hospitality :)

We had an excellent stay in the Kumari suite on level 5. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and attentive. The room was lovely with a nice view and quiet. A comfortable bed as well. The hotel is located well in walking distancefrom the old town. A 10/10 stay!

Top-notch treatment from staff. Clean, comfortable and stylish decor and furnishings. Stayed on 1st floor. The staff make this place. They are all so nice. Special call out to the lady who checked us in, and especially the guy who was trying to sleep in reception at 4am when we had to wake him up, he was fantástic and so nice. Had a great stay in Kumari Boutique Hotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and took great care of us. The location of the hotel is also along a quiet street of Thamel that keeps us away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets, and yet remains within walking distance to your restaurants, outdoor gear shops and trekking agencies. One minor complaint I have is that the street is not very car friendly. Because it is at a dead-end, vehicles will find it challenging trying to get out (they have to reverse out). It does not look like that in Google Maps, but the street in front of Hotel Mulberry in fact belongs to Hotel Mulberry and has a gate that prevents cars from passing through directly (pedestrians can walk through without an issue). This might be a slight inconvenience when you are trying to get a taxi right at the door step of the hotel.

I was very happy with our stay. We had the suite which was roomy and well serviced. The staff was friendly and very helpful with information of the area and sites. The hotel arranged a tour guide and taxi for us at our request to see the old city and two other temples. The tour guide is a must as we learned so much about what we saw that we never would have known. The next day it was a 10 minute walk to the Garden of dreams and shopping. I loved that the hotel was centrally located yet quiet as it was off the main road. The food at the restaurant was good and eggs were made to order for breakfast!. We had stayed at a few hotels for our trip and I found this to be the most comfortable and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Room 304 - there was an elevator. I had an amazing 2 night stay at this Kumari Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu, Nepal. They offer an airport pickup service ($10 USD). I guy was waiting for me with a name plate. The ride through Kathmandu was about 20 minutes. The check-in and receptionist was extremely pleasant and efficient. There is a full, daily continental buffet (made to order omelets, pancakes, eggs, fruit, bread, cereal, fresh juice, etc). It's a convenient lo action into the touristy part of Kathmandu. Restaurants and stores are within a 5-10 minute walk. My suite had a TV and mini fridge. It was clean. I would definitely recommend it, and if/when I'm in Kathmandu again, I will stay here. No complaints.
