The hotel is clean and lovely. The staff members are professional and warm. The hotel leaves a personal and welcome note in the room. It offers 24 coca tea, which helps me cope with the initial altitude sickness. I had two massage sessions, which were amazing. I highly recommend this hotel.

Travelling alone with my teenage son and acclimating in Cusco before the 4 day Inca Trail Trek I wanted sometime safe, easy to access dining option. I found the PERFECT place. The hotel staff arranged a taxi pick up at the airport which worked flawlessly. Check in was easy and the nice lady at the front desk helped us with luggage to our room. Breakfast was delicious with many options. Dining around the hotel was also very easy and convenient. Something for every taste within 500m of the hotel. The nice uphill walk to the hotel was good practice for the trail to come but took a toll on our lungs the first day. For our early departure the staff made sure we had a packed breakfast. Communication was proactive, clear and flawless. We came back after the trek for one night before our return to Lima and we got the same room. Had heavenly relaxing massages and another packed breakfast and arranged taxi at 5:45 on a departure day. There is a full fridge with beverages including wine and beer, a nice patio to relax in the evenings. I 100% recommend this hotel. Oh and we had laundry done, express for less than $10 by the hotel which came in very handy!!!!

Quaint little hotel with beautiful views of Cusco. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We booked a taxi through the hotel that picked us up at the airport. Breakfast was wonderful and they made accommodations for gluten free. I liked the area as it was quiet but still in walking distance to the square. Streets are very small so larger vehicles do not pick up from the hotel. We found great restaurants near by. We stayed twice and they stored our luggage between stays. First room had a queen bed. The room was small but had everything we needed. Second room had a king with plenty of space on the top floor. Both rooms were great! I would stay in either of them again. Wonderful experience.

San Blas is a chic area to stay at in Cusco with it's many good restaurants and art galleries. The narrow cobbled streets are definitely exciting but not for the taxi and car driveres, perhaps. The hotel has a lovely view of Cusco especially at night.

Great location in San Blas, helpful staff, chill vibe, clean and comfortable room, responsive, nice breakfast, got wonderful massages. The balconies, public spaces and views were really nice too!

In the frenetic pace of Cusco is his wonderful tranquil oasis of a hotel. Nestled inconspicuously among cobbled streets it is close to great restaurants and shopping. The staff go above and beyond in the way of customer service, their kindness and willingness to help is totally authentic and they make you feel like family,. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the beds and pillows are comfortable and the breakfast was so delicious! Breakfast was available from 6am and they packed us a breakfast box when we left early for a day trip. The back of the hotel opens to a wonderful view of the city and offers seating to enjoy quiet time or breakfast with this panoramic view. I had two massages during my time at Atoq and both were really good. This hotel is a real gem at this price point. A big thank you to all the Atoq staff for making our stay so lovely!

Lived this location and this super sweet boutique hotel! Wonderful and warm greeting, fun location in the city, amazing courtyard and view and very condole room and bath. Breakfast with a view was delicious and included. We would stay here again for sure and be comfortable to recommend to other travelers.

Beautiful quiet and lovely place. Wonderful staff. Above the chaos of the Plaza de Armas but still walkable (down lovely pathways and long stairways). Absolutely charming and fun area with stunning views. Atoq San Blas is a wonderful sanctuary to return to at the end of the day or after a trip to Machu Picchu

This little boutique hotel is centrally located. What makes this hotel stand out is the people who work there. They are beyond helpful. Employees like Lenin are the stars of the show. Always there to help. The breakfast is very nice with a decent assortment of things to eat. The rooms were very clean and mostly simple. The hotel is central to the art area called San Blas. The price is very attractive and was worth more in my book.

the breakfast is good and clean. Our room was not cleaned well when we checked in. The closet had garbage and dust on it. there were no hand towels, the front desk guy opologized and was very helpful.

The staff were excellent. The hotel is in San Blas Cusco, a very pretty and artistic neighborhood in Cusco with narrow roads (beautifully decorated) and stairs, which make getting picked up by a car at the hotel door a bit challenging. You may have to walk (stairs) a few minutes to a location that is accesible to bigger vehicles or drivers who are not familiar with the neighborhood. The hotel is very nicely and artistically decorated and has a pretty courtyard. But we found ants on our bed, maybe because our room was right next to the courtyard with flowers and plants. The staff quickly changed the sheets but the ants still showed up. The breakfast was good, and when we checked out in the morning before the breakfast time, we were even offered the packed breakfast for us to take to the airport. (When we opened the packed breakfast at the airport, we found it was only for 1 person. Perhaps they just forgot to pack 2.)

The front desk and staff are very good at their jobs. You are made to feel genuinely welcomed immediately. The room was comfortable, the pillow selection was top notch. The area around the hotel is great - this is where you should stay instead of the busy centro. My only complaint is the sewage smell from the bathroom. You have to keep the bathroom door closed and the window in the bathroom open. It didn’t bother me much, so I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. It’s tremendous value

It was great to stay in this property, the views were amazing from room and common areas. It was super clean and the included breakfast was delicious and they had so may options. Overall, loved my experience with Atoq San Blans and when I come back to Cusco would love to stay there again.

Great hotel. Lovely position in San Blas. Staff are amazing (Thank you Melinda & Lenin). Rooms are comfy and clean and the bathroom has a nice big shower.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the heater only came on during certain hours of the day. Fortunately, the bed had a thick comforter.

After doing the Inca Trail, staying here was fantastic! The room was warm, clean, with running hot water. Breakfast was delicious with convenient timing. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Fantastic hotel. Lovely location looking over Cusco. All the staff are so helpful and welcoming. Room is spacious, bed is big and comfy and the bathroom perfect. Highly recommended!

Overall very good but there was no air or fans in room … so you had to sleep with open bathroom window and hear every person walking by below or car horn

Great location. But be prepared to walk up a street to get to the the hotel entrance. The room we had felt a little cramped. Not much room to move around. Sink in the bathroom did not drain so we had to get it fixed. Heater did not work so they arranged a portable heater. Breakfast was pretty good.

This hotel was the perfect place to crash after two trips in the outdoors! The showers were powerful, beds comfy with memory foam pillows and breakfast was delicious. What stands out even more is that all staff members were extremely friendly and helpful and many of them spoke excellent English! We also were able to buy some small snacks at the small shop in reception. We’re just sad that we probably won’t be back to Cusco to stay here!

Lovely quiet hotel but just 10-minute walk from central plaza (steeply uphill) in a district of restaurants and tourist shops and Inca sites (San Blas). Our room is comfortable and well sized with large king bed. The rooms can be chilly at this altitude but there is auxiliary heating, warm bed covers, and consistent hot water in the shower. The hotel provides bottled water and hot tea, and the breakfast spread is great: muesli and cereals; fresh fruit; yoghurt, etc.; bread options; cooked fare, and choice of egg preparation; and decent coffee, etc.

It is in the San Blas area so there is a walk uphill to the hotel. Streets and sidewalks are narrow which is why the neighborhood is unique which also means that you will need to go meet any tour vans. In our case someone always came to the hotel and walked us to the meeting points. Taxis and Ubers went right to the hotel. Just a 10-minute or so walk to the main plaza. Plenty of small fun restaurants in the area. If you need laundry done, then do it through the hotel it was cheap. They also arranged taxis to and from airport and more. The breakfast was great as was the staff in general.

Everything from start to finish with this trip was amazing! The location is great, the staff was all friendly and so helpful. The breakfasts were wonderful and the rooms were lovely. From check in, which was done with a smile an offer of tea to taking our luggage to our room to checkout, it was awesome! We had two separate stays here both before and after our 5 Day Salkantay Trek. While we were trekking, we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel. When arriving back from our trek, we found our luggage waiting in our room! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was always smiling and friendly. The cookies in the room were such a nice little treat. The hotel is in a lovely location within a close walk of everywhere you want to go. Cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Travelling alone with my teenage son and acclimating in Cusco before the 4 day Inca Trail Trek I wanted sometime safe, easy to access dining option. I found the PERFECT place. The hotel staff arranged a taxi pick up at the airport which worked flawlessly. Check in was easy and the nice lady at the front desk helped us with luggage to our room. Breakfast was delicious with many options. Dining around the hotel was also very easy and convenient. Something for every taste within 500m of the hotel. The nice uphill walk to the hotel was good practice for the trail to come but took a toll on our lungs the first day. For our early departure the staff made sure we had a packed breakfast. Communication was proactive, clear and flawless. We came back after the trek for one night before our return to Lima and we got the same room. Had heavenly relaxing massages and another packed breakfast and arranged taxi at 5:45 on a departure day. There is a full fridge with beverages including wine and beer, a nice patio to relax in the evenings. I 100% recommend this hotel. Oh and we had laundry done, express for less than $10 by the hotel which came in very handy!!!!

We are so happy with the Atoq Hotel. The staff was excellent and very helpful with everything. They helped us with booking our tours with a reputable company (Cusco Inside Travel Group). We also got breakfast to-go bags when we left early for our excursions. The hotel is clean and well kept. We were able to help ourselves to cacao tea to help with the altitude. Breakfast was excellent, fresh fruits and you have a variety to choose from. Everything is close by. I also felt safe and a staff is always at the front desk to answer any questions. We were in Cusco for a total of five nights, all of which we stayed at Atoq San Blas.. Our trip was delayed because of an airline issue and the hotel helped get our daughter situated in our room ahead of our arrival. One night during our visit we actually went to Machu Picchu and while we did not stay at Atoq San Blas that night, they kept our suitcases at the hotel for us until our return The front desk staff is lovely and went out of their way to help get taxis set up for us going to various places during our stay. Some people will complain about the location of the hotel because it is up in a steeper area of Cusco. If you book tours, most of them will ask you to meet a couple blocks from the hotel, which is not that big of a deal. You can get a taxi direct from the hotel and that service from the airport is absolutely worth booking with Atoq San Blas. The walk up the hill is a bit steep. It’s definitely worth the effort. Downtown Cusco is a little too busy and hectic so the location of this hotel really is ideal. Breakfast was delicious. We even had made to order eggs one morning. Wish I could have this hotel on every vacation I go on. I highly recommend the hotel for your visit in Cusco.

Our stay at Atoq San Blas was amazing! We checked in late at night and were greeted extremely well by Melinda at the front desk! She went above and beyond to make sure we had a smooth check-in experience, and that we were taken care of nicely. After an amazing night, the breakfast experience was pure joy. Chef Aderson and his colleague Maereala were extremely kind, caring, and helpful. They made sure everything was fresh and ready for our breakfast! And lastly, Anna at the front desk made sure that our check out experience was smooth. We had the best experience of our stay in Cusco at Atoq San Blas. We would highly recommend this property for your future stay.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The bedroom was incredible, with a comfortable bed that made me feel right at home. The food was delicious, and we also thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing massage they offered. After a long day of exploring, the service was truly exceptional. However, I must mention an issue I encountered during the night. I woke up feeling unwell and struggling to breathe due to the altitude. Fortunately, a kind gentleman from the front desk came to my aid. I wish I had remembered his name so I could express my gratitude and perhaps even leave a tip. He provided me with oxygen for almost an hour, offered me eucalyptus, and ensured that I felt much better before I headed to my room. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would give it a perfect 10 out of 10.

We had an amazing stay at Atoq San Blas Hotel, and I can honestly say the entire experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Even before arriving in Cusco, the hotel already impressed us by coordinating our airport transfer for only $10. We reserved it through their WhatsApp, and when we landed, the taxi was already waiting for us at the airport. That level of organization immediately made our arrival stress-free. When we arrived at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by Erika, who truly set the tone for our stay. This is a lovely little place run by the nicest people. The rooms are comfy and spacious. The staff was so helpful. The neighborhood is relatively quiet with lots around to see and do. Just know that it is at the top of San Blas. The Plaza De Armas is down the hill and it’s one crazy steep hill. Getting to the plaza to the hotel is a difficult walk. If you are not healthy or have any issues getting around I wouldn’t stay here as we are relatively healthy but struggled to get up the hill some days. But if you can handle the hike up it’s well worth it to stay here.

San Blas is a chic area to stay at in Cusco with it's many good restaurants and art galleries. The narrow cobbled streets are definitely exciting but not for the taxi and car driveres, perhaps. The hotel has a lovely view of Cusco especially at night.

We had a great stay at Atoq San Blas. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. It was located within a 10 min walk to the main plaza where all the shops and restaurants were. We had a great time and don’t have a bad thing to say. Would highly recommend staying here.

O atendimento da equipe é otimo sao super atenciosos. Destaque para a Melinda Lenin e a Suzy com quem tivemos mais contato. Quanto a localização esta proximo do centro historico mas é uma boa subida o que nao tivemos problemas pois é possivel subir a pé, facil chamar uber e tem vasta variedade de comercio proximo.
O atendimento da equipe é otimo sao super atenciosos. Destaque para a Melinda Lenin e a Suzy com quem tivemos mais contato. I loved my stay at Atoq San Blas. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood and less than 15 minute walk to the main Plaza. The staff was absolutely wonderful and accommodating. The breakfast selection was small but with plenty of options for everyone. The lobby had unlimited coca tea which is great for altitude sickness. Be prepared to walk a lot of steep steps to get to the hotel from the plaza. It's tough because of the high altitude but it’s a good work out. The rooms are spacious and views from the hotel are wonderful.

Great location, great service, room was very clean and comfortable. Close to saksaywaman and some plazas. We were able to extend Just half day because of our bus left at night. Breakfast service was good, but not too many options. If you are staying longer you may get bored with the breakfast.

Quaint little hotel with beautiful views of Cusco. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We booked a taxi through the hotel that picked us up at the airport. Breakfast was wonderful and they made accommodations for gluten free. I liked the area as it was quiet but still in walking distance to the square. Streets are very small so larger vehicles do not pick up from the hotel. We found great restaurants near by. We stayed twice and they stored our luggage between stays. First room had a queen bed. The room was small but had everything we needed. Second room had a king with plenty of space on the top floor. Both rooms were great! I would stay in either of them again. Wonderful experience.

Our stay at Atoq San Blas was amazing! We checked in late at night and were greeted extremely well by Melinda at the front desk! She went above and beyond to make sure we had a smooth check-in experience, and that we were taken care of nicely. After an amazing night, the breakfast experience was pure joy. Chef Aderson and his colleague Maereala were extremely kind, caring, and helpful. They made sure everything was fresh and ready for our breakfast! And lastly, Anna at the front desk made sure that our check out experience was smooth. We had the best experience of our stay in Cusco at Atoq San Blas. We would highly recommend this property for your future stay.

We had an amazing stay at Atoq San Blas Hotel, and I can honestly say the entire experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Even before arriving in Cusco, the hotel already impressed us by coordinating our airport transfer for only $10. We reserved it through their WhatsApp, and when we landed, the taxi was already waiting for us at the airport. That level of organization immediately made our arrival stress-free. When we arrived at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by Erika, who truly set the tone for our stay. She offered us tea right away and took the time to explain which teas help with altitude sickness, which was incredibly thoughtful. She was very patient and thorough when explaining everything; WiFi, breakfast, tours, and general recommendations. From the very beginning, she made us feel comfortable and cared for. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. The hotel itself is very clean and well-maintained, which made it a relaxing place to come back to after long days of exploring Cusco. Lovely quiet hotel but just 10-minute walk from central plaza (steeply uphill) in a district of restaurants and tourist shops and Inca sites (San Blas). Our room is comfortable and well sized with large king bed. The rooms can be chilly at this altitude but there is auxiliary heating, warm bed covers, and consistent hot water in the shower. The hotel provides bottled water and hot tea, and the breakfast spread is great: muesli and cereals; fresh fruit; yoghurt, etc.; bread options; cooked fare, and choice of egg preparation; and decent coffee, etc.

Overall, the Atoq San Blas is great. We would stay here again! Pros - The location is awesome. It’s on a quiet corner that is clean and away from chaos. We felt very safe. - Shower had great hot water and fantastic water pressure. - Staff are helpful. They helped arrange laundry service for us and answered any questions we have. - The breakfast is excellent. Best breakfast we have had since we’ve been in South America - We had a king sized bed which was great since my husband and are I are both tall. - We had a small bottle of wine and two cookies waiting for us. Super nice touch that we appreciated! - We had fantastic view looking out on the Cusco town! The first step out our hotel room was looking out across Cusco. Very beautiful at night when it’s all lit up. Cons (I wouldn’t not stay here because of this, but a few minor things to be aware of in case these matter to you.) - Shower doesn’t drain well so you are constantly standing in a pool of water. - Walls are very thin so we could hear people in the room next to us using the bathroom. Something that we could live with but if you had younger children, might be an issue.

We booked a premium room, but apart from being a little larger, it was no different from a standard room. We were given a small bottle of wine, only to find that this appeared to be provided to all guests and was not a special premium-room benefit. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which was much appreciated. However, there were several disappointments. We arrived for breakfast 30 minutes before the end of service and were not offered freshly cooked eggs. The omelette available was stone cold, and there was no hot milk or even hot water left. Another issue was the heating, which only seemed to operate at certain times of the day. Our room was very cold, and although an extra heater was provided on request, it barely took the edge off the chill. The most worrying incident occurred when I became unwell and staff brought an oxygen cylinder. While they acted quickly and with concern, the cylinder turned out to be empty. This was quite shocking and could have had serious consequences. The kindness of the staff was the saving grace of our stay, but for a hotel offering premium rooms, there are several areas that require attention, particularly room heating, breakfast service, and ensuring emergency equipment is properly maintained. Very disappointed!
