Beautiful hotel in a great location. However, there is an outdoor bar on the east side of the building that is very loud. Lots of music, people till at least 10pm. Complained to the manager and was told the bar wasn't owned by the hotel so there was nothing they could do. Manager was lovely and gave us free breakfast and then an upgrade the next day when a new room was available. But very annoying for this class of hotel. Do not recommend.

Nice hotel, I would imagine if they're were events at Rogers or BC place this area would become very busy but during our stay the hotel and area was quite. The lobby bar turns into a night club during the night making it a little awkward to access your room as you need to walk through the club line up to access the elevator. No real complaints, we enjoyed our stay here, would return

Stayed here for 2 night during our anniversary! The facilities itself is great. Connected to the JW Marriott. Check in process was a little slow but I think it was just that night. Underground parking is good but pricey at $50 a day. We booked the breakfast option with was room service. Although it was good breakfast I would skip it for the price. Small gym but was most of what you need and it is open 24/7. We walked over to the JW Marriott and realized our gym passes also worked at their gym which is much bigger with lots more equipment. Lots of restaurant options if you prefer to dine in the building. Casinos for those who partake. Short walk to lots of restaurants and coffee options! Staff was friendly. Would stay again!

Property is located in a central location in downtown and is relatively new and well managed. Amenities are pretty basic (gym and small hot tub). Bed and shower were great but chairs in the room were fashionable but uncomfortable. Expedia VIP perks had indicated that continental breakfast was included however when we checked in, we were told this is not included in our reservation. This is the first time Expedia VIP perks had not been honoured and quite disappointing.

Our stay was amazing. Very cute area, very close to rogers and the stadium. The staff were amazing. Our room was cleaned everyday and the housekeepers went above and beyond. Would stay here again and recommend to everyone!

We had a horrible experience at this hotel. The hotel reception is right next to a club on the same floor, so we cannot hear the reception staff. At night, we have to go through the bouncers to access the hotel. We have a security concern as no room key is needed to access any floor of the hotel. We were given an accessible room, but that was not what we originally booked for. The water pressure from the taps are weak. The room itself was missing a couple of things. The remote control for the TV was not working. Upon arrival, the tissue box was already running low, and the bottle of body soap is completely empty. We contacted reception regarding the missing items, and complained that our room is not actually ready for occupying. She said they'll bring the items over and completely dismissed our concern. For a room that is meant for two guests, amenities came in single counts (i.e. 1 bath robe and 1 pair of slippers). There was no refrigerator, but a yeti cooler. Our room was next to the ice machine so we can hear people going in and out all night. The walls were thin and we can hear sounds from our neighbors. Our room is directly above the club, which was very noisy until 3 AM. We couldn't sleep until then, but the mattress is uncomfortable which adds to the problem. The ceilings were unfinished and we noticed mold that wasn't cleaned up properly after construction. That is definitely not part of the design. When checked out the reception didn't ask us how was the stay.

We loved our stay. It's a gorgeous property and location is great. Only gripe is it's a bit light on dresser space so we had to get creative and use some shelves which clearly hadn't been dusted for a long time. But would still highly recommend the property. Everyone there was incredibly friendly and service was great. Rooms and property have very nice finishes and amenities.

This hotel was by far the cleanest building I have used in the last few years. It is ultra modern and comfortable. Each staff person we encountered was helpful and friendly. Cudos to each and everyone on staff.

We rented a suite with a city view on the 9th floor. Between 11pm and 3am we could hear the very loud music form the club downstairs. For the price point it’s quite unacceptable. They had to move us on the 12th floor for the second night. Less of a problem but still we could clearly hear the music …

The Douglas is our favourite spot in the city. The suites are beautiful and large. It’s always quiet and perfect for a weekend getaway. Nice to get a free upgrade to a 1 bed suite from Junior suite too!😊

The room and stye was great. Most of the lighting has dimmer switches and the bed and linens were high quality and comfortable. My only complaint is the terrible desk chair. It was uncomfortable and made it impossible to do any work at the desk. The hotel chose style over function with the poorly designed chairs. I had to shove a pillow in the seat just to make it suitable for a short time. The shower was nice, the sink had good lighting. The TV has apps you could use your own account on. The internet access was ok. The location is good.

The hotel Douglas was exquisite. The only recommendation would be that the room did not have a suitcase holder nor did the room have a dresser to store our clothes. But our stay was wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to others.

I mostly enjoyed my stay here. It was clean and comfortable, and in a very good location. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Some design elements were odd - why was there a window from the bedroom looking into the shower? I also hated the showerhead - it's a rainfall style head that makes it impossible to stand in the shower without getting your hair wet unless you contort your entire body. Plus, they didn't provide a shower cap, which makes it worse. The strangest thing, though, was the lack of a fridge. Instead, in what would be a perfect spot for a fridge, there was...a Yeti cooler. With instructions to add ice to it. Really strange and kind of ridiculous for a hotel of this calibre. I feel like a Yeti cooler costs roughly what a mini fridge does anyway....just get a fridge in the room!

It's just a room . No mini Bar other then water and 2 coffees and a tea . Nothing special about the room just a basic room even thou was supposed to be a suite . Very bad lighting , very dark and loud from the above rooms .

Good location, staff, restaurants, lounges in the same building. Very clean well kept room. Lovely decor and furnishings, comfortable. Plenty of seating areas. We did find the room quite dimly lit, although the bathroom was well lit.

Found the staff to be quite rude, very mid experience compares to other autograph properties. Can find much better in Van.

Room and hotel was awesome. Only drawback was we ordered room service that never showed up. After an hour of waiting for two bowls of soup we had to cancel our order as we had plans. Called twice and were assured it was on the way only it never arrived. Front desk put a credit on our room but we would have preferred our dinner!!

Wonderful hotel and staff. This hotel is in a great location, with many restaurants, coffee shops, and other amenities nearby. Our room was beautiful. We were welcomed at the front desk by Arina, who was super helpful. She listened to our interests, and guided us to areas to visit. We can't say enough good things about her. She made us feel like we were coming home, rather than checking into a hotel. Thank you as well Arina for the treats and map you had delivered to our room. We will be back! FIVE STARS!

Upon check in, the room was not ready for us and it was after 6pm. We waited about 15 min before it was ready. They compensated us $100 for the inconvenience but that still seemed inadequate. When asking for our room to be turned down, we also asked for the soap in the shower to be filled since it was out however that was not done. The room did not have a fridge/freezer, just a yeti cooler that you have to fetch ice for. The facilities were very pretty and the bed was lovely. The casino was a nice convenience for entertainment.

Stayed here for 2 night during our anniversary! The facilities itself is great. Connected to the JW Marriott. Check in process was a little slow but I think it was just that night. Underground parking is good but pricey at $50 a day. We booked the breakfast option with was room service. Although it was good breakfast I would skip it for the price. Small gym but was most of what you need and it is open 24/7. We walked over to the JW Marriott and realized our gym passes also worked at their gym which is much bigger with lots more equipment. Lots of restaurant options if you prefer to dine in the building. Casinos for those who partake. Short walk to lots of restaurants and coffee options! Staff was friendly. Would stay again!

On the 3rd night of our stay, my parents’ phone charger was missing after our room was cleaned (USB C cable). There was a charger left behind that was not compatible with our phones (Lightning cable) and the cord was plugged in the opposite side of the bed that our charger was originally plugged in when we left the room. We brought this the front desks attention immediately. They said the housekeeper didn’t take it but would replace our cord for us. They commented that the housekeeper has an iPhone 14 (which uses a lightning cable not USB C). My parents were given a used and dirty cable to use – we cleaned the cord twice with alcohol pads and it was still dirty. Our problem isn’t the cost of the cord but the lack of management with housekeeper – they commented that employees aren’t supposed to charge their personal phones in hotel rooms – based on what happened it seems like the housekeeper was charging their phone during cleaning and accidentally took the wrong cord. They may not want to admit that they were doing so as it’s against employee policy, but if they had admitted as such then we wouldn’t be as upset as we are now (in addition to the subsequent responses from several managers). Several mishaps happened after (including claiming to do investigation but the incorrect date/time of footage reviewed were given, acknowledging they wouldn’t call my dad after hours but still interrupted his sleep, promising to email/call me after check-out to follow-up but didn’t).

When I went to check out, I learned that room service had been wrongfully charged to my room. The clerk remained calm and professional throughout the entire ordeal. Ill admit, i was upset but it was figured out before i left. I will be returning again because that service was immaculate.

I was paying for a room and wanted to provide my Marriott credit card for the deposit so my friend didn’t need to use their card. You need an approval which takes 3 business days! INSANE! No other hotel has such a policy. Never stay again

Loved that it was so close to the stadium. They also threw a pre-party before the concert we were going to and it was a blast. All the staff were lovely and very helpful, parking was easy and the area was very walkable to yaletown and granville island by short ferry.

Nice hotel, I would imagine if they're were events at Rogers or BC place this area would become very busy but during our stay the hotel and area was quite. The lobby bar turns into a night club during the night making it a little awkward to access your room as you need to walk through the club line up to access the elevator. No real complaints, we enjoyed our stay here, would return

What an absolutely beautiful property. The Douglas is located next to BC Place and about a 5-10 min walk to Roger’s Arena. There are many restaurants in the property and dozens within a 5 minute walk. The service was friendly and 5/5, the room was modern, quiet and very comfortable. We loved the Aesop products in the bathroom and the robes were so comfy. We will be back.

We had a fantastic time at the Douglas Autograph hotel! Theres plenty of bakeries, coffee shops, cafes and bars around the hotel. It is located in Yaletown near all major attractions. The hotel feels very luxurious and the service was outstanding. I would recommend it if you are looking for a great stay with lots of entertainment options within the hotel. We found it a bit too noisy for our liking. We could hear parties and people leaving the casino throughout the night. If you are a light sleeper and like to wake up early, this hotel might not be ideal for you. However, we found that most hotels in the downtown core are surrounded by lots of entertainment, so noise is going to be hard to avoid, especially on the weekend. I would also note that the hotel was very accommodating when it came to check in/check out time and was willing to go above and beyond to help us. This left a very good impression for us and we look forward to staying at other Autograph locations in the future.

Beautiful room, and so unique! The design of the hotel rooms themselves are so gorgeous. Artsy, understated, and luxurious. Bathroom was gorgeous and the 24 hour room service was a huge plus. All sorts of dining — we especially loved breakfasting at Honey Salt. Not to mention the BEST spa we have ever been to. We stayed here after our wedding and spent a couple hours in the spa — best experience. The RMTs were incredible and Thayes, who helped us throughout, was so friendly, professional and simply a true pleasure to be helped by. Would love to stay again.

Wonderful rooms. High end fit and finish. Only room complaint was the desk chair. Seat and seat back were sloped/angled in a way that was really uncomfortable. We had breakfast for 2 as part of the Expedia VIP and was quite enjoyable.

Good food but service incredibly slow with hostess stopping to clean tables while line of 20 waited to be seated. Oblivious to need for moving faster. groups being seated every 5 minutes, with man ahead saying 'same as last time he was here'.

Our first time staying at this hotel and it was great. We will be returning. The BC Market restaurant was very good, with great food and service. The room service was very good and fast and easy to order via the online order system. The only area that we thought could use some attention is the in-room coffee but it wasn't terrible.

The check-in staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a quiet room since we are sensitive to noise. She was able to get us a room even with an early check-in. When we mentioned it was our anniversary, they brought us champagne and a nice charcuterie board. Very walkable area too.
