First the good...We stayed there for 8 nights. Every person that works there were so friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. My daughter slept on the pull out couch. The free breakfast was great. Fresh fruit, bread, and pastries every day. The coffee maker made whatever you liked....espresso, cappuccino, etc. The hot food was better than most hotels. The location was great. It was about a 15 minute walk to the tube. There is no in-house restaurant, but the Italian place across the street delivered for free. It was decent for the couple of nights we were dead tired from our day. Now for the not so good...Breakfast was a mob scene every morning. A wait for a table took a half hour at times. That being said, the staff were amazing at keeping everything orderly and stocked. The elevators are the worst. They have a mind of their own. They even have a sign in them, saying how slow they are. It got to be comical by the end of our stay. We often hiked the five floors to avoid the wait. The bed in the room instead of being against the window was against the hallway wall (which seemed to be about one inch thick), and the noise from guests moving (often kids running)about and talking loudly, woke us up multiple times a night. Overall. the good outweighed the bad by quite a bit. American hotels could use a lesson from the fabulous staff at this hotel. I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to my friends.

Outstanding service!! Cannot say enough about how well the staff did in exceeding our expectations at every opportunity. The ONLY complaint is the lift- undersized for the property, and with a disabled guest the stairs are not an option. Wasted quite a bit of time waiting and heard many complaints from other giests about the same.

Conveniently located near Earls Court tube, next to a large superstore. The gym was good and the laundry was a god send when travelling. Breakfast was good quality/ good variety and plenty. The rooms had everything you needed even had a small balcony! The only thing that let it down for me was the cleanliness, the stairs where filthy with tissues/rubbish etc lying for over a day. The gym and laundry never got cleaned in the 3 days we stayed. The gym had a dirty towel as well as rubbish lying in the same place for those 3 days and nothing to clean the equipment with between users.

As a regular guest, I want to thank you for consistently providing a wonderful experience. The room was fantastic, and the breakfast as excellent as always. I truly appreciate the high quality of service you maintain. That said, I’d like to share one concern from my recent stay. The hotel was, as usual, fully booked — which is a good sign! — but it did feel quite crowded at times. Waiting for the elevator was the most challenging part of the experience. Staying on a high floor became uncomfortable, especially given the recent earthquake in Turkey, which left me feeling uneasy. Unfortunately, there were no available rooms to move to a lower floor, though your staff handled the situation with kindness and professionalism. Next time I’m in London, I will absolutely stay with you again — but I will definitely request a room on a lower floor, where I’d feel safer and could use the stairs if needed. Thank you again for your hospitality.

The location of the hotel was good, and it was also close to a large supermarket. Having a kitchen in the room was very convenient. However, the check-in process took a long time because the payment system wasn’t working. In addition, one of the elevators was constantly out of order, so there was often a long wait. The breakfast, though, was good. Unfortunately, there were many fruit flies in the room, which was quite disgusting — I killed around 20 of them. I even saw them flying in the lobby. If you left food unattended for a while, the flies would land on it. To make matters worse, I found four silverfish bugs during my stay. The television also didn’t work properly, as it kept shutting down after 10–15 minutes. When I checked out, I reported all of these issues, and the staff said they were already aware of them. So think twice before choosing to stay at this place.

The room, especially the bathroom was not clean. Toothpaste marks on the sink. There was still cutlery in the dish washer. The walls are paper thin and kept getting woke up by the noise of others. The location is excellent for attending at the Olympia. The kitchenette in the room is fully equipped but just the dishes were not clean.

Enjoyed our stay. Great breakfast and convenient location. Room was nice but not as clean as other Marriott’s we’ve been in. Old sponge found under bed, bedding had some stains etc. But I would still say a good experience overall.

Our room was very noisy. It was an adjoining room so could hear hairdryer, snoring, tv very clearly! Right opposite the lift so could hear noisy revellers coming home and the traffic was so loud i checked to see if a window was open a few times. The room was very nice and spacious though, good kitchen facilties. Very clean. Staff were a mix - some very pleasant and a few not really bothered about customer service. Good location. Nice bar and bar staff.

Hotel checked us into a room where they knew AC didn’t work. Spent 1 night in hot, stuffy room because staff said hotel was full. Manager did upgrade us to a better room on 2nd night. Overheard other guests complaining of no AC as well. I of 2 elevators was out of service. This is a large hotel and guests waited in line to use elevator and it was full when doors opened on many floors. Guests with luggage or prams waited for several full elevators to pass. First room had soiled carpet and upholstery. Couch had buttons hanging off cushions or missing. Some mold in shower. Hotel is worn and need of maintenance

Nice rooms, but the air quality was poor. Hallways and rooms felt stuffy even with aircondition on. Reception area seemed busy and chaotic during the day. Only two lifts that were very slow, and one of the lifts broke down completely the last days of my stay. Breakfast was good but overall I expected more from the Marriott brand.

Room was lovely, but it was like an oven. Air con was rubbish and fan in room very loud, so very little sleep. The Nespresso coffee machine had a 2 prong European plug which made no sense and which meant I couldn't avail of the nice coffee in the morning. Breakfast was great and staff were very helpful.

The staff was nice and friendly, the breakfast was good, and the room was in good shape. It could be a good stay, however there was a bad experience in check-in. Even when I have presented my driving license confirming my identity, I was mixed up with another unrelated customer, and I was charged a huge amount of money, but in fact I have already paid online during booking for the night I stay. Luckily I checked the credit card App and discover the incident when reaching my room. The staff reacted efficiently and have the problem resolved after some checking and verification.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Residence Inn Kensington. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Special mention to Rebecca at the front desk, Theo the Guest Relations Manager and Roberto the Restaurant Manager for their amazing customer service. The daily breakfast was very good with many appetizing options. Also, the hotel is centrally located right on the Piccadilly line, which is very convenient. We look forward to visiting London again and would definitely stay here when we do.

I’ve lost count of how many times I have stayed here! It’s my go-to when in London. Staff are wonderful and the facilities are fantastic for business trips when on the road for a number of weeks. Laundry, gym, kitchen and close to a supermarket. I’ll be back.

We arrived at 14:45 and were told that the room should be ready around 3 pm. I kept asking for an update but unfortunately it was not until 4 pm that the room as finally available. Louise, the receptionist was lovely and she did her best to get us a different room that was readily available.

Staying here was like an extension of being home. The doorman was excellent and very friendly. The front desk staff were excellent, special mention to Aisha, Saif and Biola. They were very friendly and professional. They went extra to always help out with making my stay pleasant.

It is not nice that they take a deposit upon entering the hotel. The location of the hotel is far from the center, but it is in a place where you can go everywhere by metro.

Tesco right next door was a big plus! We had a studio on 2nd floor and a 2bedroom suite on 9th floor. Both were good. Breakfast has a good number of choices. Earls Court station is within 10 minutes of walking distance which made it really easy to get from/to Heathrow on Piccadilly line.

This hotel was exceptional regarding its services especially its free laundries that is available to all customers. Not only this, the breakfast provided to all guests were outstanding as there were various options for pastry and breakfast menus. The location was also adequate as the Earls Court Station was only a 9 minute walk allowing visitors to easily travel to their destination without spending much money. Also, Tesco is right around the corner, near the hotel so it was nice to have a grocery store nearby for additional food to eat. However there isn’t really a room service as they don’t directly deliver it to your room and you have to pick it up yourself from the lobby and the food is also not made from the hotel, it is made from a restaurant nearby. Despite that factor, everything else was enjoyable and I would recommend visiting this hotel as the prices are affordable compared to the services you can access.

The breakfast was amazing. It was very convenient to the tube and other areas. Lots of restaurants within a short walk as well as a Tesco grocery store next door. Free laundry and a nice fitness facility made this a gem.

Excellent place to stay in London. I will definitely return next time I visit London. The only negatives would be the slow lifts and limited breakfast choice (scrambled eggs do not work in a hotel breakfast buffet - a choice of freshly cooked eggs would be preferred).

The room was fine. Quiet. Great beds and shower. Staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was lacking, too many people in a small dining area. Often had to wait in line to enter and to get coffee.

The breakfast buffet was decent, not great, but decent. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. One of the elevators wasn't working the entire week we were there and that was frustrating. We ended up using the staff elevator, which helped, but wasn't ideal.

Was sent an email the day before saying if I did not pay by 10 the next day the booking would be cancelled (booking was to pay at hotel) Hotels.com gave me confidence this would not be the case. Very busy on check-in, but requested an early check-in which was confirmed. Room was OK, clean but tired and only an OK standard. Lifts very busy, so a lot of waiting or use the stairs. The breakfast food was good and plentiful, but the seating arrangements far too crowded with people constantly bumping and pushing past tables.

Nice hotel. Rooms good size for London. Good to have a kitchen area. Breakfast was good. Could do with more fruit. Very handy that it is next to a large supermarket to get drinks/food if needed.

Not what you would expect from a Residence Inn. This hotel is in dire need of some TLC. First for the positives, the location of the property is great. It is a short walk from the tube station and there is a large grocery store next door. The neighborhood felt safe to walk in at all times. The breakfast was excellent with a large variety of foods. Staff was wonderful, despite shortcomings of the hotel. This hotel advertises air conditioning, but our room on the first night did not have working AC. When we complained to the front desk, they acted like the weren't aware and told us they would move us to another room the next day. The room that they moved us to, had a/c but had a damp/musty smell and was not the cleanest. The couch had stains on the upholstery, the floor was spongy and it was in need of updating. Finally, the lifts on the property were extremely slow and at times only one lift was working. This was not a problem for us, as we are in good health and we weren't in a huge rush, but I could see it being an issue for others. We've stayed at much better places in Kensington and London.

La habitación era muy grande y cada día te hacen la limpieza. Desayuno muy bueno. La cama supletoria un poco incómoda para un adulto. El aire acondicionado funciona estupendo. El metro a 10 minutos pero bien comunicado. El personal muy amable. Con pequeña cocina muy útil cuando viajas con niños.

No elevator service. The hotel has two elevetaors, one had been out of service for months, the other had long line-ups on every floor. We haulled our baggages up 5 flights..Also, the A/C could NOT keep up. Room was 25c at night at the best of time, we slept sweating in our sheets. We changed rooms, and there was no change, just a lot of hastle checking out of one room and waiting hours to move to another, with the end result being still tossing and turning in our sweaty sheets. AFter 5 days we left exhausted. But upon leaving, we only waited ten minutes for the one working elevator, we feel lucky
