The check in was easy and easy to find inside the bar area with signage. The room was clean and bathrooms very clean. Even above a bar it is quiet at night in the room. The one down side are the neon lights on the outside of the building. They are in all night long and the room is lit up by them, however it didn't impede sleep too much. Tons of food choices around, mostly East Asian cuisine. Good bus routes, however the train station was under construction. But easy to still get to and from the airport and CBD.

Its a pub with accommodation. I left before the pub opens at 10 am. I think i left my $100 bond behind. Had a good meal at the hotel last night. Toilet showers outside the room and shared with others.

It is clean and basic but is cheap for sydney. In the shared bathroom option the rooms have a bed, tv, air conditioner, a wardrobe,desk chair and armchair. There is no fridge or sink. The rooms are up a flight of stairs above the pub.

A nice basic room with ammenities as you walk out the door. A suggestion is place a mini fridge in the rooms especially in summer as guests like a cold bottle of water. Otherwise it was pleasant room for the price paid.

The listing mentions free parking but it is not provided by the hotel. There is a car park nearby but it is only free in the evenings and on Sundays. So if you are planning to go on a weekday, arrange for parking beforehand. Also the staff took a photo of my debit card which I found really weird and was concerned about the privacy of my card details. They said they take it if they need to charge me $100 for security.

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had on Expedia. Completely false advertisement I felt like I was in a prostitution house the way this building was set up. The dustiest & dirtiest room I’ve ever seen in my life. Stains on the carpet smelt like smoke. The window had broken glass. The headboard had an inch layer of dust on it. There was no elevator. We had to lug all our bags up the stairs there was a drug dealer standing outside the building all night. We walked in, turned around and decided to sleep on an airport bench until the airport opened in Sydney rather than staying in that hotel absolutely awful and disgusting. All of this was at midnight. If that doesn’t say enough, then I don’t know what will. Nobody should ever stay here. It was also in a bad area of town, but the reviews said it was great. The ad said bathroom, but when we got there, it was shared by the entire floor. There were people having sex in the room next to us and the other side blow drying their hair at midnight. If I could give this a -100 star review I would. Do not stay here ever! The owner should be ashamed.

Property is at very convenient location. Staffs are good. Coffe was is room but no tea. I drink tea so coffee was no use. Floors are clean but found a lot of bugs in bathroom. Management should use regularly bug bomb in room and bathroom. Except bugs issue I had wonderful stay.

Unfortunately paying $180 for a room that felt like a prison cell, on top of shared bathroom and saw a cockroach. Didn’t even have any kind of tissue box or food in the room. Just a tiny bed. You get what you pay for …. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

We stayed in “The Apartment”. It was very large and had a good layout. Bedding was clean. Towels seemed clean, but old. The neighborhood had several bakeries and restaurants within walking distance. The space wasn’t cleaned very well before us, we found hairs in the bathroom and crumbs in the kitchen. The worst part was the front bedroom (and sometimes bathroom) smelled like cigarette smoke in the evenings because it was over the bar. We considered leaving without staying, but we stuck it out.

Coffee and tea sachets supplied but no spoon or milk. Smoke from smokers lounge wofts into rooms. Pillows like rocks. Nice bathrooms though Pub has nice food. No glasses or cutlery.

Basic, of course, given the pricing, but they're clean rooms with comfortable beds, solid aircon, and decent bathrooms. Friendly staff. The owners could do with spending a little re-doing the peeling paint in some spots, but that's purely cosmetic. One day the hot water was in short supply, so perhaps watch for that.

Great property with spacious area for a family of 5 in The Apartment. We needed to give the kitchen a clean before using the plates and cutlery. The oven had left over food and the cutlery draw was dirty. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. One of the doonas needed a good clean. The curtains in one of the rooms needs fixing as it lets a lot of light in. The fire escape door needs permanently closing as the stairs lead to a huge unsafe drop off of 2-3 meters. The bathroom was clean and tidy with a great shower. Easy location and drive to Sydney Olympic Park, DFO Homebush, darling Harbour and the Zoo. Will definitely stay again.

It was outstanding value for money, and allowed us to be really comfortable. Very quiet, even though you are in the central shopping area of Campsie and above the pub. Allows for quick access to a variety amazing restaurants and grocery shopping.

Geruchsbelästigung durch Küche. Gemeinschafts Nasszellen auf dem Gang. Rezeption nicht dauerhaft besetzt. Nach dem versehentlichen aussperren warten bis Hotel/ Rezeption wieder geöffnet Öffnungszeiten 10:00 - 04:00 also ungünstigsten 6 Stunden ausgesperrt.

Bar was well stocked and the staff were excellent! However my key card to the room wouldn't work. I had it reset twice and even issued a new one but in the end the master was needed in get in the room and I was essentially trapped in my room..But the staff pulled out the stops for me otherwise

Didn’t get to see the room as wife had knee replacement and couldn’t manage the stairs had to find another place for the night. The staff were sympathetic and helpful recommending an alternative hotel.

I liked the fact that though it was next to a bar, there was no disruptive noises/music playing loud and diaturbing our sleeps for the night. The only rhing that wouldnt make me go there again was the shady neighbourhood. Things were left next to our car in the council car park. Someone seemed to have left fingerprints on our car windows and doors the next day. There were really drunk people walking around at night.

1 minute walk to bus stops and 2 minutes to train station. Some of the long term residents are colorful in colurful in character in a nice way just like the LED's lighting the outside if building at night. Giving a lovely calming hue of pink/purple in the rooms when lights go out. Not annoying but giving a relaxing feel. Highly recommend this property, clean, comfortable in great location for transport and dining out requirements.

This is above a bar and casino in an unsaveory neighborhood. The bed was literally dirty, head board stained, neighbors played loud music, photos very deceiving. Please don’t stay here.

Suitable for those who sleep with led lights shining into the hotel room windows all night, if u like to be under a spotlight, topped with broken curtains and a curtain that doesnt even cover a whole window. Coffee and tea sachets supplied but no spoon or milk. Smoke from smokers lounge wofts into rooms. Pillows like rocks. Nice bathrooms though Pub has nice food. No glasses or cutlery.

The check in was easy and easy to find inside the bar area with signage. The room was clean and bathrooms very clean. Even above a bar it is quiet at night in the room. The one down side are the neon lights on the outside of the building. They are in all night long and the room is lit up by them, however it didn't impede sleep too much. Tons of food choices around, mostly East Asian cuisine. Good bus routes, however the train station was under construction. But easy to still get to and from the airport and CBD.

Its a pub with accommodation. I left before the pub opens at 10 am. I think i left my $100 bond behind. Had a good meal at the hotel last night. Toilet showers outside the room and shared with others.

Very friendly and helpful staff after arriving late. Missed dinner as they must have shut up a bit early. The roof in the room had what appeared to be water / mould damage evident causing the paint to appear peeling off in parts. Clean and well-presented otherwise.

The staff were amazing from check in to check out. The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed. The property is in need of some TLC but did not affect our stay. The bistro downstairs was awesome. Meals were so cheap and absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Live entertainment was fantastic also. Great location, plenty of shops and public transport. Note: There is no lift, only stairs so if you can’t do stairs this property is not for you. Also no mini fridge or milk supplied.

Staff was friendly, no elevator so they helped me bring my luggage up the stairs. A little confusing as you check in at the bar, not the sign saying accomodation, but easy nonetheless. Clean bathrooms and bedrooms, AC worked great and kept the room at the perfect temp, tv in room afding more amenities, perfect for solo travel.
