Great little hotel in a lovely location. All the staff are super friendly and the food is excellent. Rooms are great (some low ceilings but I am 6'6" so used to that lol) Great hotel and pub/restaurant.

Sadly we only enjoyed the property from about 10pm onwards as we were busy elsewhere at a gathering although we had dropped our bags off about 2pm into our room. The staff were all jolly and friendly. The real ale was good. The breakfast was wonderful. We have a lovely British coupe that we don't like leaving near to cars that bash their doors into us but there is a secret car park near the wheelie bins (down a vicious angled slope that puts off folk I guess) and that provides wonderful parking for 3-4 cars. The room was lovely with a view of the river (albeit somewhat obscured by the diners' tents in the gdn) and the coffee machine was complemented with real milk in a fridge in the corridor. Excellent package.

If you haven't tried this reasonably priced hotel/ restaurant you are in for a treat. Better than average restaurant and excllent service on a busy Saturday night. The rooms may be small but have great character. Last - but not least - check out the Bar Snacks and nibbles menu for an afternoon treat.

A one night stay for a meeting on Sunday in Godalming. Lovely village setting and a plainly popular venue for eating and drinking in spite of heavy rain. Excellent breakfast freshly and individually cooked.

Lovely place and lovely, friendly staff. Lots of outside covered seating by the river in a great setting. Room small but cosy and very well equipped. Even has coffee maker. Walk in shower, immaculately clean. Food very good, nicely presented and a slight twist on the normal pub food. Breakfast on first day had to be pre-ordered,for whatever reason. This meal therefore wasn't so good, rather dried up. A pity as second day breakfast excellent. Really enjoyed our stay.

Truly a gem of a place to stay . We had wedding reception to attend at the stag so booked two days . The management and staff were so professional which put them up with five star status. The pub restaurant was alway fully book a reflection of how good the food is . I gem of a place and will definitely return .

Lovely old pub and B&B in a beautiful location. Enjoyed a delicious dinner followed by a gourmet breakfast the next day. My room was clean and spacious with a nice walk in shower. Tea, coffee and biscuits were in the room and I had a lovely view of mature trees and rolling hills.

Everything was great, two very minor things. The radiator in the bathroom was emitting more heat than a nuclear power ststion, could do with truning down a tad. Was actually to hot to stay in the bathroom with the door closed. And the broadband was very slow. But in the grand scheme of things, nothing to worry about.

This property is in a lovely location and is a beautiful little boutique pub/hotel in the Surrey Hills. The room was very clean and had all the amenities listed on their website. I did have some issues with my stay though: 1. My room wasn't serviced during my 2 night stay 2. There were kitchen delays producing the breakfast on one of the mornings. 3. My evening meal order wasn't taken properly - I received an incorrect item. I didn't complain because I had complained about breakfast earlier in the morning. These are all little things but shows a lack of attention to detail. In fairness to the business, they did apologise for all the errors and did discount my bill. Ultimately I was disappointed and won't stay there again.

From arrival and throughout my stay the staff at the property could not do enough - on arrival helping to carry bags to my room and showing me into the room. The room was small but fine for me, the quirky old building meant that the room was sloped, but that adds to the character! Well equipped with coffee machine and kettle, complimentary bottled water and local beer. Breakfast was wonderful, lovely continental buffet style and Cooked breakfast to order, all included. We dined on the first night and the food was also lovely.

Stayed on a hot summer evening. The room was very small and due to the heat, very uncomfortable. The staff were pleasant and efficient, but the room and conditions were just too much. Didn’t stay the night left at 11pm.

We had a great stay. The room was small but perfectly fine for what we needed. Very cute and English. The breakfast was great! We loved it. And we also had dinner there a couple nights and the food was good. I needed WiFi as I had to work on the morning - but the Connection was really poor.. this would be the only downside for me

Fabulous location. Evening meal excellent...breakfast left a bit to be desired...service poor. BUT...the host took the cost of breakfast off the bill without being asked. She recognised the issues before i raised them.....so 10/10 for that!

We dined on the first night and the food was also lovely.
My stay for the weekend was for a local wedding. From arrival and throughout my stay the staff at the property could not do enough - on arrival helping to carry bags to my room and showing me into the room. The room was small but fine for me, the quirky old building meant that the room was sloped, but that adds to the character! Well equipped with coffee machine and kettle, complimentary bottled water and local beer. Breakfast was wonderful, lovely continental buffet style and Cooked breakfast to order, all included. We dined on the first night and the food was also lovely.

This property is in a lovely location and is a beautiful little boutique pub/hotel in the Surrey Hills. The room was very clean and had all the amenities listed on their website. I did have some issues with my stay though: 1. My room wasn't serviced during my 2 night stay 2. There were kitchen delays producing the breakfast on one of the mornings. 3. My evening meal order wasn't taken properly - I received an incorrect item. I didn't complain because I had complained about breakfast earlier in the morning. These are all little things but shows a lack of attention to detail. In fairness to the business, they did apologise for all the errors and did discount my bill. Ultimately I was disappointed and won't stay there again.

Sadly we only enjoyed the property from about 10pm onwards as we were busy elsewhere at a gathering although we had dropped our bags off about 2pm into our room. The staff were all jolly and friendly. The real ale was good. The breakfast was wonderful. We have a lovely British coupe that we don't like leaving near to cars that bash their doors into us but there is a secret car park near the wheelie bins (down a vicious angled slope that puts off folk I guess) and that provides wonderful parking for 3-4 cars. The room was lovely with a view of the river (albeit somewhat obscured by the diners' tents in the gdn) and the coffee machine was complemented with real milk in a fridge in the corridor. Excellent package.

Lovely place, friendly staff, well located for exploring nearby attractions. Cosy room above the pub. Bathroom is very clean and modern. Very quiet at night. The pub's restaurant serves good food, though I believe the pub is the only dining option in the village. Would stay here again next time I'm in the area.

Lovely old pub and B&B in a beautiful location. Enjoyed a delicious dinner followed by a gourmet breakfast the next day. My room was clean and spacious with a nice walk in shower. Tea, coffee and biscuits were in the room and I had a lovely view of mature trees and rolling hills.

A one night stay for a meeting on Sunday in Godalming. Lovely village setting and a plainly popular venue for eating and drinking in spite of heavy rain. Excellent breakfast freshly and individually cooked.

Lovely place and lovely, friendly staff. Lots of outside covered seating by the river in a great setting. Room small but cosy and very well equipped. Even has coffee maker. Walk in shower, immaculately clean. Food very good, nicely presented and a slight twist on the normal pub food. Breakfast on first day had to be pre-ordered,for whatever reason. This meal therefore wasn't so good, rather dried up. A pity as second day breakfast excellent. Really enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous location. Evening meal excellent...breakfast left a bit to be desired...service poor. BUT...the host took the cost of breakfast off the bill without being asked. She recognised the issues before i raised them.....so 10/10 for that!

Truly a gem of a place to stay . We had wedding reception to attend at the stag so booked two days . The management and staff were so professional which put them up with five star status. The pub restaurant was alway fully book a reflection of how good the food is . I gem of a place and will definitely return .

We had a great stay. The room was small but perfectly fine for what we needed. Very cute and English. The breakfast was great! We loved it. And we also had dinner there a couple nights and the food was good. I needed WiFi as I had to work on the morning - but the Connection was really poor.. this would be the only downside for me

We booked 2 double rooms for 2 nights. The check in procedure was all good a the staff very welcoming. We dined at the Resturant on the 1st night and the food was really good. The following morning we had breakfast which we pre ordered the night before which again was very tasty. We left the hotel around 11am to attend a wedding and didn’t return back until after midnight to find both bedrooms hadn’t been cleaned or beds made to our disappoint. Fresh towels had been left on the bed and that was it ! I did mention it the following morning and the lady just said “We are sorry about that” Not great getting into a unmade bed at midnight, for the price we paid I don’t think this is acceptable.
