Super 8 by Wyndham Joliet

There are no vending machines in the hotel. Other than that, very clean and comfortable. The front desk manager is very friendly. This is my second stay and I will stay here again whenever I am in the area

Nice enough hotel for a quick overnight, but limited parking if you have a trailer. Non smoking room was small and bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke.

Room was clean and spacious; however at 5 ft I found it very difficult to get in and out of the bed. Staff was nice and pleasant. No vending machines for soda or snacks and area was a bit iffy.

For starters, the hotel itself is fairly nice & the beds are clean and comfortable. The desk attendants were friendly. The towels could go for being replaced, they were pretty worn out. The parking lot is pretty small. But the area around the hotel is not good at all. If it wasn’t for the area l would rate it higher, but i wouldn’t stay here again.

I was impressed by how clean the room was. The parking lot is small, but I didn't have a problem finding a spot.

Stay here was better than expected for a Super 8. Hotel was clean ,no washer and dryers but still it was a very good hotel .

Property was clean with easy parking and access.

Curtains opened to view of motel 6 balconies of bums. Shady area. Cameras everywhere and even wondered why the light on tv flashed all night, had to cover it up, and smoke alarm flashed 2 different colors above my bed.

The manager moved his personal car for us so that our motorcycle was on the cameras and visible from the front desk. It was a nice room and quite.

While Joliet may not be the greatest area the parking lot was very lit up. I checked in late so to enter I needed to show ID to get buzzed into the lobby. Once passing the entry door the lobby smelled of ethnic cooking and was very strong. Smell was still there in morning as well. Staff was friendly and room did not have the same smell. Bed was comfortable, AC worked great, water pressure good, tub drained well. Overall if I needed a place to stay again that was around this location I would return.

Very clean rooms! The bathroom could have used a little attention, but overall a nice room. Very friendly staff, willing to answer any questions you have. Convenient location, easy to get to from the interstate, and there's a gas station open 24 hours next door

Poor job of remodeling the bathroom was not clean the room was not clean the rug was not clean and the bed sheets was stained

The exterior and lobby are nice for a Super 8. The first thing I noticed when we entered our room, however, is that it has carpet with many stains. The top cover on the bed was stained, as well. For the price, what can you expect? The hotel was very easy on and off the highway. An okay, quick overnight stop on our way out west.

Staff was friendly. Room was adorable, however, the chair was filthy and I had to clean it. The tub had hair from previous people. Woke up at 5:30am to fire alarm for almost an hour. Left by 8am

Dirty tub. Dirty sheets. Dirty floors. Pillows and comforter had multiple stains.

Hotel room was dirty and had not been vacuumed. There were fleas in the room and crumbs and dead bugs on the carpet. Staff was friendly though.

This was our second stay in Joliet. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet. We much appreciated the kindness of the staff. We'll be back!

Motion light in the room was annoying. Curtain rod on the window was falling off the wall.

Great stay, nice staff, standard breakfast. Wifi only worked 50% of the time. Had to use my Hotspot. 👎

For the price, it's a great deal. The room was in good condition and clean. The downside was that the walls were thin, so until the neighboring room turned their TV off, we couldn't sleep. However, the price makes it not such a bad hassle, and I'll come back if I'm in the area.

Check in was pretty easy but the “queen beds” are definitely not Queen. I have a queen bed at home and me and my husband were struggling to be comfortable. This was definitely two full size beds our friend also let use know there bed was smaller the. A queen

The beds were about 3' or higher from the floor making it difficult for an average to short erson to get in. Felt like we needed to ole vault or mountain climb to get in them. The motion detector light was unnecessary. It was very annoying, bright LED, resorted to covering the sensor once we figured out where it was &/or covering the light with a jacket, as there was no switch to shut it off. Whoever thought that was a necessary feature in the room needs to live with one coming on everytime someone moves while they are trying to sleep. The worse hotel experience we have ever experienced at a Super8.

Tried to say we didn’t have a reservation and refused to let us have an early check in after I called and they approved an early check in due to our circumstances. Front desk lady was asleep in the floor when we arrived and took about 5 min to get her to wake up. I had to call the hotel to get her attention. Beautiful place. But bad interaction

Always an amazing stay here. Karan the owner is awesome and the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. I stay here 7-8 times a year when in the area. I definitely recommend staying here.

I made a booking online and took a taxi there two hours early, because their website said that early check-in was possible, and I've never had any problems with this at other Super 8 hotels. However, I was yelled at by an angry manager who told me that if I wanted to check in, I had to pay an additional 40&. I said okay, I'll wait two hours in the lobby.But he kicked me and another person who came early outside in the heat and said that we couldn't stay there and that we had to clean it. I canceled and walked to a nearby hotel. Please return my money.

Room was dirty. It was an unexpected stop for us so we didn’t have toiletries. I asked for another set as there are two people checking-in, I also asked for extra pillows as the ones they have are paper thin. I was told I had to wait and that they can only give us 1 extra pillow. Both pillows and toiletries never came. We asked if we can check-out 30-45 minutes later than scheduled as we had some errands to do, we were told that it is $30/hr. When my husband arrived after our errands, we were greeted with “you only have 10 minutes to check-out. Luckily I came back earlier and got our stuff packed and we literally had to get out of the room when my husband arrived.

I was assessed an early check in fee when I arrived before 3pm. Later on when I called back to get an updated receipt staff were rude over the phone. They claimed they could only print it and they did not have the ability to send it in an email.

Upon arrival I was check in by Whitney who was very friendly and professional. She made sure I had fresh towels and everything. I am a travel agent and used this property because of the location convenience and to host conferences since I work remotely. My stay was going great until Wednesday morning when I received a call from the manager Ketan yelling stating that house keeping was mandatory. After the call I went to speak with him and explained that I was in the middle of a conference but they could clean the room at 10:45a. He stated that because he pays them to do a job they have to clean my room. Not even 10 mins after speaking with him a housekeeper tried to use her master key to enter the room. I have stayed at a number of hotels across the U.S & have never heard of such things. My room had not been cleaned since check in. Per the hotel policy listed housekeeping is per requested and kids stay free. I filed a complaint with the corporate office who stated that because the hotel was privately owned they have their own policy in which I read very throughly. Upon my arrival Ketan because to yell again because he was as upset about the call he received from corporate. I called JPD to defuse the situation but was told that it was a civil issue. Ketan was rude and unprofessional. I was told I was breaking the rules by having my kids visit however the policy states kids under 17 stay free. My first 2 & last 2 days there my room was not touched for “mandatory” cleaning.

The motel 6 was so close I could hear the people closing their doors. Just didn’t seem like the best area

Great location off I-80, gas station next door, very friendly staff. It’s on a busy street so I heard cars all night and I didn’t feel very safe.

The motel itself was excellent nice clean and quiet for the most part. I feel bad for them because they are butted up against a very ghetto motel 6, where people were hanging out on the balconies and yelling during the night.

Convenient to I80

Just needed a stop after a Notre Dame game heading home to Iowa. Easy location to get to off interstate. Clean room, comfortable bed, easy check in and out. Would stay again.

On a car trip and needed a good place to stay overnight before continuing our journey. This Super 8 was perfect. A nice, well-appointed, clean hotel convenient to I 80. Great friendly staff. Near lots of restaurants.

Right off the expressway. They were very clean and had a nice night!

Everything was good. Except for the breakfast. Spoiled milk, Spoiled yogurt, eggs but no where to cook them, the juices offered tasted like pure water. But everything apart from the breakfast was very good service.

I had an outstanding experience at Super 8 in Joliet, IL. Wonderful front desk staff. Clean room. Perfect breakfast in the morning and easy check out. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

We traveled from FL to Joliet for a wedding. Most of the reviews for other lower cost hotels were not good. The reviews for Super 8 were much better and proved to be as such. Staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating. They do housekeeping each day. The breakfast included waffles, toast, bagels, pastries, cereal, fruit, yogurt and juices. No formal lobby, but plenty of tables to eat at. Comfy beds and quiet.

The room was relaxing and comfortable. The walls are very thin, so I could hear every cough from my neighbors, but fortunately everyone was pretty quiet and it wasn't a problem that kept me from sleeping. The breakfast didn't really offer anything healthy - just a carbohydrate blast with all white bread & fruit loops stuff. The coffee in your room is probably better than what they have out front. But overall, for the economy price, it was a good stay.

Should not advertise any breakfast, orange juice was just water, no tea, little stale muffins, no butter, disappointing to say the least

Just off highway so convenient. Room was clean bed was comfortable. For a handicapped room the bathroom pocket door needs to be fixed. I had a hard time closing the door because it sticks and should glide. The sink is too high for a wheelchair. The shower stall has LOTS of soap scum from the floor to 1/3 of the way up. Breakfast area is WAY TOO SMALL. Only one person can get their breakfast at a time. And breakfast is just muffins toast or waffles and coffee. When we checked in the desk person was great when we checked out there was no one to be found. At breakfast I noticed the desk person was braiding the housekeepers hair. Maybe a little more attention to the guests.

This motel was a very decent price per night. It was clean enough. The breakfast was okay, not quite as many options as some places. The staff were very nice and helpful. When we arrived we realized we had stayed there before, and given the opportunity we would likely stay there again.
