We enjoyed our stay. It is a perfect location for walking or riding the street car. I will say the pool was surprisingly small and cold. There is also considerable street noise. The breakfast is great and the gym is nice.

Tiny pool, pictures don't convey just how small it is. Beds are the hardest hotel beds I've ever stayed on which is a shame the facility was so underwhelming as the staff was fantastic.

Nice place the interior was quiet and it is close to transit to the event we came to. Parking was convenient though you had to pay but a guaranteed spot not in the street.

Room was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very helpful to have and well-stocked with dishes, etc. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The exercise room is fantastic. The included breakfast was very good. I have stayed here twice and both times the experience could not have been better. I will stay here again without doubt

Floors were gross, my daughters feet were black after walking around for 5 minutes. Found blood stains on my pillow and on the office chair in the room. When I brought this to the staffs attention, the girl at the front desk seemed annoyed and said “I’ll let housekeeping know”. Bottom line, we will not choose this hotel ever again and I highly recommend staying somewhere else.

Caulking around shower was pealing, carpet in desperate need of shampooing, lipstick on coffee cup, 1 dirty towel left in room. I may be a bit more observant, I am a maintenance supervisor for a Towneplace Marriott so i may notice things the average guest wouldnt, such as cleanliness of entrance area from parking area and elevator cleanliness.

We became Hilton Members after staying at this hotel. It was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Walkable distance to so many great restaurants and attractions like Science City. Staff were helpful and friendly and my kid loved their breakfast! And not so ridiculously priced!

The experience was super positive from our arrival. The front desk staff was very friendly and eager to help. Our room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was delicious - only thing missing was a microwave to heat muffins. We’d return.

Room was okay. Somewhat clean but not like the photos. Used around the edges and the noise from the trolly that zooms by at night will keep you awake. I recommend a quieter room across the hall maybe. My room was street facing. Staff was nice and helpful. Carpet is a bit dirty.

The room was outdated but fine, but we were placed in an adjoining room with someone we aren’t traveling with on the other side.. there is no sound barrier between these rooms and we could hear every conversation and movement from the other room. The latch on the bathroom door was broken and the bed came with no blanket available.

Liked the proximity to Children's Mercy and parking was easy and relatively inexpensive (for downtown KC). But the bed was too firm, and had to deal with heavy footsteps above us from 3:30 a.m. to when we got up. Can't comment on breakfast as we had to check out before 6.

This was a last-minute reservation after Amtrak cancelled our train and stranded us. Nick at the front desk was quick and efficient, and he also gave us late check-out since we were stuck in town all day. Breakfast was good with lots of options. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious.

Hotel and staff are nice, but we didn't care for the location. It didn't feel safe at night walking the dog, but we didn't actually experience anything bad while going out. The walls between rooms aren't sound proof, but the staff moved us away from a crazy, screaming lady, so it worked out fine. We loved the kitchen area.

Large bright room with a full kitchen. It was so nice to able to buy some beers with reasonable price when we were checking in. Hot buffet breakfast was a bonus. Close to Amtrak train station. We will be back!

I used to stay here often. I don’t know what happened but it’s really run dow and the beds aren’t comfortable at all. But most importantly… There’s a roof top bar across the street blaring music on a Sunday night. Unless you like the distant sound of bass beat mixed with cars roaring by, you won’t sleep.

Arrived after hours after a long day of travel and delays, exhausted. Rang the bell to be allowed in to go up. waited.. rang the bell, waited.. rang the bell. After 8 long minutes of waiting in the dark on the street. “Do you have a reservation?” No hello or apologies for the wait. Get upstairs to check in. No hello. No hospitality. Just a blunt “ID and Credit Card” it was just one of those things that sucked after traveling for 8 hours with delays and having to be up in 6 hours for work the next morning. Other than that the room and location was great.

The room details on Expedia are incorrect. The listings for all the rooms say queen bed and QUEEN sofa bed. As I was advised by the obnoxious front desk clerk, every sofa bed in the hotel is a full size, not queen. I advised him of the incorrect information on Expedia and he did not care one bit. The only reason we rented this hotel was because of the supposed Queen sofa bed. The pictures of the room on Expedia are very misleading as they use a very wide angle lens to distort the size of the couch. In addition, Expedia says parking is $12 but when you get to the hotel they say it’s $14, and when you ask if they will honor the $12 listed price, the very accommodating clerk (mentioned above) curtly says “no.” Appalling individual and experience.

Very expensive hotel for not much. Check in person was put out checking us in. One night the fire alarm went off and they could not get it to shut off...thankfully, nothing was amiss, but we still had to pay full price for this incredible inconvenience.

Hotel and staff are nice, but we didn't care for the location. It didn't feel safe at night walking the dog, but we didn't actually experience anything bad while going out. The walls between rooms aren't sound proof, but the staff moved us away from a crazy, screaming lady, so it worked out fine. We loved the kitchen area.

I used to stay here often. I don’t know what happened but it’s really run dow and the beds aren’t comfortable at all. But most importantly… There’s a roof top bar across the street blaring music on a Sunday night. Unless you like the distant sound of bass beat mixed with cars roaring by, you won’t sleep.

Housekeeping, every other day only mounted to emptying the trash and replacing towels. My daughter’s room had a pullout couch, which was so dirty. They couldn’t use it. The noise at night from the traffic was extremely loud. Not sure the area is very safe. The hotel was adequate, but I thought overpriced.

Clean and spacious rooms with comfy bed and couch. Ideal location to T-Mobile Center. Great pool that was open early and late which was awesome. Close parking and I felt very safe at this location. Close restaurants

When we checked in, there was a storm going on and the desk clerk seemed concerned the electricity might go out. The next day we could not use the pool because of 'lightning.' Not Hime2's fault, but the location was nestled in an area where a lot of unsuccessful attempts at reclamation/gentrification had occurred. Lots of fail businesses. Also, the promised wonderful great breakfast was a mixed bag. Staff struggled to keep up demand for sausage, bacon, and biscuits each day, though I loved the addition of apple compote to accompany French toast and pancakes on the weekend. The yogurt machine, a truly great innovation, was broken on the last day. It would be great effort to include real dishes instead of disposable plates and plastic ware in the name of sustainability.

We booked our stay here over other options because it was a Hilton brand hotel. Unfortunately the amenities were more on par with a Motel 6 or a Best Western. The pool (one of the reasons we booked here) turned out to be smaller than the hot tub in other hotels we have stayed at. The included breakfast was also lacking in options, and ended earlier than expected.

I liked the size of the room, full size fridge and utensils. I did not like being kept up all night by the trains coming an going. We were in room 220 and the trains were a few blocks away. They were constantly coming and going. The breakfast was horrible. Sandwiches were dried out, the little omelets were dry the edges were hard. The pancakes were hard and cardboard. Strawberries on top didn't even soften the. You could hold one on the side and it was stiff as a board. Worst breakfast ever. The older dark completed male working in the breakfast area never smiled. He had this horrible mean look on his face and seemed totally unapproachable. We ended up throwing our food in the trash and left. Never again

Hotel room was very spacious and clean, with all the amenities. Downtown and right on the free KC ride train so that gave us something to do in our downtime. The hot breakfast was great as well

Great hotel. Read the instructions about parking. Getting out of the lot is challenging so take your time. We felt really safe and the hotel provided a listing of restaurants. The staff was sooooooooo nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the breakfast/lounge area was beautiful. I didn’t like my view but oh well!!

The rooms were clean and well kept! And the mattresses were comfortable. We rented 2 suites for 3nights/4days w/ a party of 8 people, Housekeeping didnt come till Saturday, we were out of towels. For rooms that accommodate four people, they need to provide more towels. The breakfast bar was clean and well-stocked. My complaint was that the sausage and eggs were way, over-cooked. The staff was so helpful and very inviting. We felt very comfortable, and the girls LOVED the pool. The one big issue was the one working elevator---very frustrating!

We had a nice stay, our room was quiet, spacious, and comfortable enough. Lots of functional outlets. I would inform anyone coming to stay to be aware that to check in, you’ll need to buzz the front desk before any entrance is opened. The lobby is on the second floor. Once you get your key card, it’s a breeze. The locked doors are for safety, but it’s a little rattling if you don’t know what to expect. The second elevator was broken during our visit, which made for some longer waits. The location and parking are great.
