I was very upset along with other people staying. The pool had a sign ot was closed for the rest of day but the sign had been up for days because the paper was wet and dried. Also was told they needed to shock it then the next morning was told they would have to get a pool person to look at the ph balance. There was a dog in the room next to us that barked all night long. The worker that was manning the breakfast would stand and constantly stare at guest for periods at a time. Also once we got their to check in we had to wait for like 5-10 minutes for someone to come to the desk to check us in

Clean and very friendly. Only issues i had was the toilet paper dispenser in the bathroom was partially broken, pool was out of service, and elevators were scary. But having the basketball hoop was a great amenity! Shopping is very close!

Everything was enjoyable except for two things.. i had to use.the dryer and they barely get hot.and the price of breakfast is ridiculous. Other then that , room was great and.showersand beds were excellent

I’ll be honest, when I travel, I usually stay at an Embassy Suites. But, since there was none in the area, I went with the Residence Inn. I was pleasantly surprised! We stayed in a king suite, which had a separate bedroom, which was great because it gave some division of space between us and our kids. It had a full kitchen, which was also an awesome feature. The room was clean, housekeeping offered daily. The fitness center was well equipped. Breakfast was pretty good, with a decent spread of options, hot and cold. The common areas were kept clean. The desk staff was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves out in Lynchburg in the future.

Very nice hotel. I don’t know much about Lynchburg so I was pleasantly surprised by the availability of such a nice, reasonably priced, pet friendly hotel. Conveniently located in the LU area. Suite was relatively large and very comfy. Will be my hotel for future stays in Lynchburg

We requested a non pet room but there is no such room here. My wife had to wear her medical mask throughout our stay, which was not very comfortable. This was not a solution to the problem, just a band-aid! The sofa had pet odors, as well as the room. The AC vent and Bathroom vents had noticable dust accumulation. If you have alergies, this is not a good place to stay. We expected more from a Marriott affiliated property, but we were very disappointed.

We had to change rooms three times. Each room was filthy. One of the rooms looked like the bed had never been changed. Couldn’t even call the front desk because the phone was broken and parts of it destroyed. Even the room, the final room they put us in wasn’t even clean. Horrible horrible experience. Even at breakfast some of the food tasted bad and off.

The mattress in our room, 219 was worn down. It was too soft on one side and the other side wasn't much better. My husband's back was bothering him after the 1st night. We did inform the front desk when checking out.

There was a person working at the front desk who had short, curly hair, and they did an incredible job helping us get settled in with everything we need. I can’t say enough good things about their service. Dealing with an unexpected influx of folks due to power outages and still giving each person individual care and attention is above and beyond. Give this person a raise! :)

From our arrival to our check out, this property was fantastic. The staff has been super helpful, including providing extra toiletry amenities when our bags were lost during transport. Even though this is a residence property, we had housekeeping service for the two nights of our stay. Close to the only mall in the area, as well as a burger/fast food restaurant across the street that’s open after midnight, and also close by to a Walmart, and Sam’s Club. Having the mini kitchen was great, as was the full-size fridge. Highly recommend packing some microwave popcorn if you’re planning a night in. There’s a microwave in every room! The included complimentary breakfast in the morning is top-notch, including good quality, coffee, eggs, sausage, potatoes, grits, fruit/cheese, yogurt, and many pastry/bread products. The staff that attends to the breakfast station is very conscientious, Even coming around 10 minutes before closing to make sure that nothing else was needed. Would definitely recommend staying here if visiting a Liberty U student, or anytime in the Lynchburg, VA area.

We stay at a lot of hotels but this one stood out to us as the best. Our room was wonderful so maybe that is why. For some reason we had a king suite with a kitchen and a big bathroom. It was so nice and we did not pay any extra. I wish that we were staying longer. The location is nothing special but it is very close to LU. Right across the parking lot from the mall and Cookout is on the other side. The beds, pillows, linens, towels, breakfast, staff, and grounds were all good. Things seemed new. I would definitely stay here again.

These units are larger than a standard hotel with a nice kitchenette and couch area. The bed was a bit lumpy but overall our stay was great. We will be going back. Very convenient to Liberty University.

Very nice hotel. I don’t know much about Lynchburg so I was pleasantly surprised by the availability of such a nice, reasonably priced, pet friendly hotel. Conveniently located in the LU area. Suite was relatively large and very comfy. Will be my hotel for future stays in Lynchburg

We had to change rooms three times. Each room was filthy. One of the rooms looked like the bed had never been changed. Couldn’t even call the front desk because the phone was broken and parts of it destroyed. Even the room, the final room they put us in wasn’t even clean. Horrible horrible experience. Even at breakfast some of the food tasted bad and off.

A last minute booking. Slightly out of town and next to a shopping mall. A friendly welcome from the staff. The room was very spacious with a sitting area and kitchenette. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was also very spacious. Huge shower which was very good. Everything was very clean. There was no restaurant and the staff recommended a restaurant off the shopping mall which was walkable. Breakfast was very good although we got there late and there wasn’t much available. Overall a good experience.

Everything was enjoyable except for two things.. i had to use.the dryer and they barely get hot.and the price of breakfast is ridiculous. Other then that , room was great and.showersand beds were excellent

The plastic separator at the edge of the carpet was completely loose. I tripped over it. Room smelled stale. Only gave 1 roll of toilet paper. On the upside, the bed was clean and comfortable. Bathrooms and kitchen area were clean. Breakfast buffet was breat.

We enjoy this hotel a lot. The breakfast is great but it could be better if they switch it up sometimes. We normally have to switch rooms due to not being clean. We have stayed here a few time. From our arrival to our check out, this property was fantastic. The staff has been super helpful, including providing extra toiletry amenities when our bags were lost during transport. Even though this is a residence property, we had housekeeping service for the two nights of our stay. Close to the only mall in the area, as well as a burger/fast food restaurant across the street that’s open after midnight, and also close by to a Walmart, and Sam’s Club. Having the mini kitchen was great, as was the full-size fridge. Highly recommend packing some microwave popcorn if you’re planning a night in. There’s a microwave in every room! The included complimentary breakfast in the morning is top-notch, including good quality, coffee, eggs, sausage, potatoes, grits, fruit/cheese, yogurt, and many pastry/bread products. The staff that attends to the breakfast station is very conscientious, Even coming around 10 minutes before closing to make sure that nothing else was needed. Would definitely recommend staying here if visiting a Liberty U student, or anytime in the Lynchburg, VA area.

Everything was great about the room and hotel, including the main bed, pool, and basketball court. The breakfast was honestly the best I've seen like this, including even berries and pop-tarts for the kids. However, the pullout bed was atrocious and uncomfortable for my poor boys. It sagged and had springs in the mattress that could be felt.

Nice hotel with very good in-room amenities, especially the kitchen with full fridge, dishes, utensils, & pans but no oven besides microwave. Furniture was showing wear, in particular the office chair, dining table, & curtains. Breakfast had wonderful variety including nondairy milks, hot & cold foods, & fresh fruits and mashed avocado. Hot items were overcooked: browned scrambled eggs & hard sausage patties. Very large biscuits pleased the family.

One night family stay, bathroom fan wouldn’t turn off, sink faucet handle hits mirror above when using it, noticeable stain in middle of chair cushion, large dent in wall, bedroom curtain coming off of track. No ramp in front of hotel entrance. Need to carry luggage up onto curb. Expected a better maintained hotel. Staff was friendly.
