I’m not saying the bedroom wasn’t okay for the price. However, the main photo showed a full kitchen, which led us to believe we could cook our own meals instead of eating out. In reality, the room only had a microwave. After checking the description afterwards, I saw it only mentioned the microwave — but why use a picture of a full kitchen as the first photo for a standard bedroom? When a listing shows something, I expect to get exactly that. If the photos had been accurate and hadn’t created a false impression, I would have easily given a 5-star review. The only other downside was the late check-in, which was done via a screen with someone in California. While it might feel fancy to some, I found it quite impersonal and a bit creepy. I much prefer interacting with a real person at the front desk.

I checked in and immediately dropped the key in the box and decided to drive home. The manager was nice, but the room didn't meet my needs. Shower tiles were grimy, and the comforter on the bed had stains on it.

No lamps ! Only overhead light. Ridiculous!

Very basic and quaint motel. No frills. Used to be a Motel 6 as there are old signs throughout the property and the soap in the rooms has the logo. Staff was decent and friendly. Room very basic. Cleanliness was hard to rank as the bathroom had the toilet in the same space as the shower sharing the same floor with no barrier except for the curtain.. Not a dealbreaker, but was definitely unexpected. No biggie as it was just for one night. Would stay again, but for no more than one night if in the area.
