The property by itself is well designed and managed. Love the style and taste in every detail. No more mo less. Just perfect. Very comfortable. The cons are that the location is a bit out of downtown waterfront, and in a reviving area with lots of constructions.a bit creepy at the beginning. Street parking only. 1-2 hours only in the day time and 6pm-8am at night. It would make new visitors feel a bit more warm if there is anybody showing up at the reception. We stayed 3 nights and 4 days. NOT even one single person/receptionist ever showed up. As a hospitality industry, you have lost that human touch.

It was a quick overnight stop.. I thought I was within walking distance of the downtown area, but we had to take a Uber... it was very quiet but no elevator and we had to carry everything up 2 flights of stairs.. the room was very clean and comfortable.

However, the hotel description should include accurate information about parking and a platform bed accessible only from the foot of the bed. The information said plenty of parking out front and on side streets. However, these were clearly marked that parking was limited to 2 hours or 1 hour during day, 8am to 6pm. The shower design is such that water pools outside of the shower, leaving the bathroom floor with a puddle.

The rooms were great but there is only stairs and for my elderly parents was a little hard on them. The rooms were beautiful though and the staff was super helpful.

Great location in the trendy North End and the room had a lovely aesthetic. A few things to note: there’s no elevator, the bathroom had no hooks to hang any towels, and the AC was finicky (didn’t seem to cool).

Received after hours check in instructions that were unclear and incomplete. No elevator or assistance with bags up 40 steep steps to the third floor. Bed essentially on the ground. Coffee maker was broken and we never spoke to a person (or saw a person) entire time we were there. No ice. Loud street noise all night. Street parking with lots of late night foot traffic. As planning to stay again at the return of our trip - cancelled and booked elsewhere!

Check in process was super easy! You are sent door codes, and that’s it! Room was a nice size with cute decor. Our only issues were that the bathroom sink seemed to be clogged and didn’t drain, and the bathroom door didn’t latch closed. The post says parking included. This isn’t actually on site. Otherwise great location walking distance to bars including Bar Kismet, the local Distillery (Compass Distillery), and delicious donuts at Vandal Donut!

Overall, we felt it was a nice property. It had a good location and lots of places to grab food and a drink. The room was decorated nicely and was very clean which stood out to me. Check-in and check out was easy. What we did not like however was the front door to the building did not automatically lock - it appeared to get stuck and if someone was not paying attention it would not lock. Given there is no concierge, that was a bit concerning. The walls were a bit thin - i could hear our neighbours next to us having an entire conversation and they truly weren't being that loud. It wasn't clear how to access the internet either. Overall, I would recommend it but will probably try other spots in the future. Thanks for the stay!

Lovely property. Checked in after hours, and checked out before the office opened. It was really stream lined! Easy check in. Everything was perfect. My only complaint would be the fruit flies. I could not even eat or sit and relax without being inundated by them(surrounding my food, flying in my mouth) crawling & landing on me while watching tv. Maybe it was just the suite that I was staying in, but I knowingly killed 30-35. Great location. Super safe. Quiet. Easy check in/out.

We really enjoyed our stay. The suite was exactly as pictured, thoughtfully designed and well equipped with a small kitchen, and the property was very clean and quiet. We will definitely be back!

Loved the hotel and our king room (bed was very comfy!). There was lots of space, modern features, it was very clean and even had snacks/drinks to purchase in our room. Self check in was super easy and the staff respond quickly to messages. This area was great (less busy than downtown) and had tons of dining options (walkable too). The only downfall is that you can hear other guests in the building and the traffic/noise outside was also loud. It didn’t bother me too much so I would still recommend this hotel if noise doesn’t bother you!

Property was very clean. Well organized space. As others have mentioned, there is little soundproofing. You can hear neighbours talking, or their tv/music, as well as traffic. My rating on staff was low because there was no staff present while I was in my room; I was aware of front desk hours, but given that check in and check out occur as these hours are ending or commencing, it is a bit hard to come across anyone during your stay if you are out for work/pleasure between 10am and 4pm. I was unsure of what number to use (as it wasn’t exactly an emergency) when I couldn’t seem to get the heat pump to come on for some heat. I did use the non-emergency number provided and they replied within a couple of hours, but I did not hear from them again after that to see if I had been able to resolve any issue. You also need to make sure you lock the entrance door to the building. It does not lock automatically, and if you don’t do it, it appears to remain unlocked for anyone to enter the building. I don’t recall seeing any reminders from the property to do this.

Located in busy street, noise was a factor. But host did provide white noise machine that definitely helped. We would stay again for sure. Clean, helpful, friendly and great location.

We had an amazing stay at Brewery Park Hotel. The staff were so helpful and kind and accomodating. The room was beautiful and clean, and the area is very fun and young. There were lots of cool stores. We were very glad we stayed in the North End and not in downtown. Thanks for having us! We highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great little spot. We had texted the phone # provided, but never got a message back from staff. Lobby wasn't open for us to ask either. Overall, you've got a fantastic place!!

Nothing on the booking stated that a code would be provided for check in (that I could see and subsequently checked emails for). We arrived at 2.30pm, the lady in the desk said our room wasn’t ready. I said we would come back. She didn’t outline the remote check in, need for a code or anything. When we returned at 6pm the place was locked up. I called various numbers - no answer or call back. Mailbox was full on one phone number. Messaged Expedia, no response. My partner found an address and emailed them - they replied with a code. This was very stressful, and annoying. If I’d known this arrangement on booking, I could have been prepared. The room was really nice, but the check in ruined it.

I never got to stay at this property. They gave me a code to use to access my suite. I was able to get into the front door with my code, but my designated suite door would not open. I contacted the booking people through their "emergency phone number", as well as by email, and I never heard back. I waited a half hour & had to give up. After travelling all day, I then had to head out to find a different hotel.

I contacted the booking people through their "emergency phone number", as well as by email, and I never heard back. I waited a half hour & had to give up. After travelling all day, I then had to head out to find a different hotel.

Extremely disappointed and shocked by the callousness and level of service here. Management was rude and dismissive and avoidant. I attempted to call the hotel multiple times to find a solution for an issue and I was given the run around and eventually my number was blocked. I've never experienced anything like this before. Very incomprehensible. And revealing of their business ethics. Deeply disappointing.

Very comfortable and well decorated suites, however little to no sound proofing. Getting in was a challenge as our assigned key code would not work on the suite door. We were stuck in the hallway until we could contact someone. It took 3 phone calls before someone answered, but once they didbthey were quite pleasant and quick to help. Despite the hiccup, we would stay here again :)

Simple and efficient arrival procedure. Beautiful room with very causy feel. Nice neighbourhood, good restaurants in walking distance. Although there is no reception after 16h00, help is prompt to respond by text and just a few minutes away if needed. Will definitely go back.

Highly recommend this Hotel if you are visiting Halifax. It is located in the North End and only about 20-25 min walk to Boardwalk. This area is up and coming with great restaurants, bars and shopping. The staff are very responsive and friendly.

We had an amazing stay at Brewery Park Hotel. The staff were so helpful and kind and accomodating. The room was beautiful and clean, and the area is very fun and young. There were lots of cool stores. We were very glad we stayed in the North End and not in downtown. Thanks for having us! We highly recommend.

The property by itself is well designed and managed. Love the style and taste in every detail. No more mo less. Just perfect. Very comfortable. The cons are that the location is a bit out of downtown waterfront, and in a reviving area with lots of constructions.a bit creepy at the beginning. Street parking only. 1-2 hours only in the day time and 6pm-8am at night. It would make new visitors feel a bit more warm if there is anybody showing up at the reception. We stayed 3 nights and 4 days. NOT even one single person/receptionist ever showed up. As a hospitality industry, you have lost that human touch.

My stay here was excellent. I came down for pride and had a great time. The room was beautiful it matched what the photographs on line. Conveniently located within walking distant to downtown. I will definitely stay here again

Such a great location - some of Halifax’s best restaurants are in the area. The rooms are smartly laid out with every comfort you need. It was quiet and clean and as always a wonderful stay.

Check in process was super easy! You are sent door codes, and that’s it! Room was a nice size with cute decor. Our only issues were that the bathroom sink seemed to be clogged and didn’t drain, and the bathroom door didn’t latch closed. The post says parking included. This isn’t actually on site. It is in reference to street parking, which can at times be a hassle. Minor inconveniences. Otherwise great location walking distance to bars including Bar Kismet, the local Distillery (Compass Distillery), and delicious donuts at Vandal Donut!

We were OK, but didn’t realize there’s no elevator and had to go up 36 steps to get to the second floor every time we wanted to go outside. The unit was small, basic simple but adequate.

Booked it online and didn’t realize they checkin is online. I never received an email with checkin info so we had to stand in the heat for 45 mins because there is no lobby are anyone available. No poster instructions outside either. I was recommended to park on the side street and was told it was okay and safe. When we left we had a parking ticket :( Otherwise the room was fine and the location was good.

Overall 3.5/5 The room was clean and quite spacious, although the bed nook was a bit awkward to get in and out of. It is in a decent part of town (north end) with lots of cute cafe’s near by without the hype of ‘downtown’. The feel is very much like an Airbnb. Access to the property was easy. There is no staff per-se and check in is all digital. Easy to navigate and well communicated. There is, at the time of this review, no long term parking on the street. This is a recent change so, if you have a car, you have 2 hrs parking curb side between 8am and 5pm so overnight you are fine. I would and probably will stay again.

Amazing property! Will definitely be coming back! Beautiful apartment, lots of space and very clean. Very accessible location, lots of cafes and restaurants near by! Loved the unique look to the apartment, we were very happy!
