Très beau séjour passé dans cet hôtel. Située dans une rue calme et proche des grands lieux touristiques. Personnel toujours disponible et agréable. Établissements propre. Seul petit défaut, au niveau de l’isolation des chambres, nous entendions nos voisins ainsi que le passage dans les couloirs. Mais tout ça est très supportable. Un grand merci au Side hôtel. Nous y reviendrons pour un prochain séjour.

Staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful! The breakfast on the terrace was great, as well. It is very basic - but clean and the shower pressure was excellent! The rooftop terrace has incredible views and we loved hanging out up there! The location is amazing though - walk everywhere! Highly recommend - excellent for the price.

Basic hotel, but very comfortable, clean, great breakfast buffet with views to the mosque , staff friendly and welcoming. Just three minutes walking to Hagia Sophia and others tourist attraction in Istanbul. Safe area, next to Four Seasons hotel and in front of Seven Hills hotel .

Great location for visiting the famous historic Ottoman landmarks in Istanbul (many are walking distance from hotel). Friendly and helpful staff especially at the front desk. Hotel itself is no frills, clean and basic. Great shower and a decent breakfast provided each morning. We would be happy to stay again. A small word of caution, there is no lift so if you have mobility issues best to request a ground floor room.

Side Hotel was recommended by a friend who has stayed there several times. Great location just a 2 minute stroll from Hagia Sofia. The staff at the hotel were so helpful and friendly. Breakfast on the roof terrace delicious and we loved the view. Hotel is spotless, so clean. Great value for money and a wonderful stay. Would recommend!!

Very convenient location, the hotel is in between the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofya Mosque (so you hear the call to prayer lound and clear 5 times a day). The hotel is very nicely decorated with beautiful Turkish rugs and tilework. The rooftop is amazing and the free breakfast each morning was great. Very kind and helpful staff.

Forferdelig dårlig frokost med veldig lite utvalg og av dårlig kvalitet. Noe som var skuffende siden vi hadde basert oss på andre positive anmeldelser angående frokosten. Vi endte opp med å spiste frokost på andre siden av gaten, North Art Coffee & Breakfast - anbefales på det sterkeste. Rommet var helt ok, men bærer preg av at det er behov for renovering, spesielt av badet. Heldigvis var det rent og vi fikk nye håndklær daglig. Ansatte i resepsjonen var superhyggelige og serviceinnstilt. Ga oss også gode anbefalinger på steder å spise middag. Beliggenhet var også helt perfekt med gangavstand til veldig mange attraksjoner, offentlig transport og restauranter.

Very close to the sights. Staff was super helpful and friendly. The room was very quiet. The toilet was too close to the shower meaning you had to have some part of you in the shower to use it. The curtains failed to block the outside light from coming in. The bed mattress could be replaced. If I ever go back to Istanbul that’s the place I would stay.

The hotel location is awesome, just walk out and you’re basically in the center of some of the attractions. The staff are really friendly, helpful and kind, breakfast is the same every day which I didn’t mind and it’s average. I had the budget single room, very basic. Bathroom was small but sparking clean and same as the room.

This hotel is very conveniently located, walking distance to the HAVAIST bus to the airport, the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, all the big sights in Sultanahmet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel room itself was.... eh OK. A bit on the older side, but reasonable for the price we paid. There are a lot of choices at breakfast but it's the same buffet every day which got a bit old after the second day. It was a fine stay overall, no complaints or regrets.

So many comments mention the staff and now I understand why. They truly went out of their way to help, explain, and arrange whatever we asked about. There are also helpful signs in English on how to get to various locations in Instanbul. The staff made understanding and navigating the city easy. They brought luggage up 3 flights of stairs happily never expecting a tip for all their help. The accommodation was not luxury but we were out all day anyway exploring the city. I would absolutely stay here again.

From the minute I got into a shuttle from the airport it was an amazing experience with the staff. They took great care of me my bags and helped me find and visit many places around the city. They were all like family from the first few days to many weeks into my trip. The location is so perfect for old town and access to city transportation, I couldn’t be happier. Made many friends there and had many dinners with Emre when I would come back late from exploring he would order us up some Turkish dinners and we would sit and talk. He went above and beyond and spent some of his days off helping me find cigars. The entire staff was great. Their is a travel place next door if you want to book tours of Turkey as well. This place is Highly recommended and I will be going back to stay again while I search for my apartment. I cant wait to see them all again!
