Gästebewertungen zu Buffalo Valley Ranch

Was Gäste sagen

Appalling experience and hostile customer service-had to spend the night in the property's common dining area. Were even unfairly threatened to leave the office or they would call the police. Our extremely distressing experience: When we rtn frm dinner, the gas heater could not turn on. Reception had closed at 10pm,but two non-reception staff tried to assist .They eventually provided 2 portable heaters, which tripped the elect power to our wagon and the nx . After 2 resets, staff left assuming problem solved. Abt 5mins later, the entire wagon lost power again. We were left without heating in 5°C conditions, with no staff contactable. With all nearby accom fully booked out,we spent the night in the property's common dining area. We reported to reception at 7am what had happened and requested a full refund for a stay we were unable to occupy. Her response was shocking: -We are not responsible if you don't report it to reception before 10pm -We are not going to refund you because you booked thru a third party -Didn't you read the fine print in the booking? I asked her to be shown e above stating that e property takes no responsibility for defects after 10pm, she flip some documents w nothing to show. After a prolonged discussion, she became more hostile, saying: “It's too early in the morning and I am not having any of this,” before telling us -Get out of my office or I will call the police There was no meaningful apology, no attempt to take responsibility, Don’t bk this hotel

It was so much fun sleeping in the wagon. I'm glad I brought extra bedding as it got cold at night in October. You'll want to bring your own shoes/sandals if you want to take a shower.

Aufenthalt für 3 Nächte

First, I’ll say it’s horribly expensive in general to stay around Grand Teton National Park. We stayed in the covered wagon to save some money (still VERY expensive for what we got). The wagon was extremely dusty and looked like it hadn’t been swept out in weeks. The linens we were given were clean but the king sized blanket on the bed was very dingy. The bathrooms were also not clean. The plugs in the bathrooms also were not functional (I tried all three of them). They also run horses through the grounds very early in the morning with a lot of yelling making it very hard to sleep. That, and late in the evenings (past quiet hours) we heard idling ATVs two out of the three nights we were there. They keep the truck full of manure right next to the wagons. They also empty out the gray water right outside the specific wagon we were staying in (right in the middle of the wagon circle) making it difficult to walk anywhere without stepping in it. Maybe the cabins are better but if you’re looking for a camping experience, this was unfortunately not a pleasant stay at all. We had breakfast at the cafe one of the mornings and the food was really greasy not great (and expensive). The front desk and cafe staff were very nice.
