A stunning retreat in the Scottish Highlands. Beautifully appointed, stunning meals and very friendly staff. And a big bonus: meeting the pet highland cattle Shamus and Seòras (pronounced Shaw-us) in Gaelic; John and George in English.

Last minute stay & we will definitely be back, we enjoyed every aspect of our stay

We can’t say enough good things about our two night stay. Staff were so incredibly welcoming, kind and thoughtful. We had dinner the first night and wished we could have done the second too but had theatre tickets. Food was 5* both in flavour and presentation. We had the pleasure of meeting Ann the owner over dinner and the chef that evening , Charlie. Post dinner we sat by the fire where front of house immediately added more firewood. We also had the pleasure of meeting Angus, Ann’s son who was a funny and helpful young man. I am thrilled that this is where we started our trip.

Le service Au restaurant est le meilleur que j’aie eu à vie. c Cependant ils n’étaient au courant des avantages VIP EXPEDIA et il a fallu démontrer. Ils n’avaient pas l’information que nous avions 2 boissons par jour par personne.
