Welcoming and friendly staff. Leafy surroundings and plenty of parking. Dogs welcome! Tasty evening meal in the pleasant lounge bar area. Excellent choices available for breakfast. Definitely value for money. Only let down by being a bit tired all round and dingey.

Bar menu was very limited & the dining room was closed. The room was poor even though it was supposed to be an ‘executive double .’ I really don't think the room had been serviced correctly after the previous guest . I needed to ask for a clean duvet cover. That says it all. However , the receptionist was very pleasant and very helpful. Apparently the hotel is due to be refurbished & in my humble opinion that cant come soon enough . Great view though !!

Very nice hotel. Easy to get to.

Old hotel, corridors carpets had holes in patched up with tape. Leak in room 20 sink causing constant wet floor (clearly the room staff are not trained to look out for this…. Not their fault I’ll add….management!) Odd layout to walk upstairs and downstairs to get to your room. The hotel is propped up by the really friendly staff. Expensive for an old hotel.

The reception and bar area are quite nice, but the bathrooms are very tired and need work on them
