Majorly in need of room refurbishment. Terrible access to rooms too. No lift, not ideal with lots of a baggage. Check in staff very basic customer service. A huge gypsy wedding was taking place the following day with the guests all there the night before causing major disruption to my stay, sleep etc.

Whilst the Hotel was nice and friendly, I now been sent a car park payment. Which is ridiculous as I definitely log my registration number into the Hotel registration.. BEWARE OF THIS.

Aggressive signage in the carpark tells hotel guests to pay for parking in advance. Which I did. But on check in at the hotel I was informed that I didn’t have to pay but could register my car there. So this private car park management company has my money. What a scam! The check in desk man was friendly and explained the situation but I’m still out of pocket. So unless they change the signage then I can’t recommend this hotel to anyone (despite nice view and friendly staff).

The view from the bar of the Humber Bridge and estuary was incredible! No air - con in room, bed and pillow too soft. One of guests in bar/restaurant was swearing loudly, constantly at the top of his voice - very off putting.

We stayed over for a night on a motorcycle trip. The hotel was perfect for our stay with beautiful views of the Humber from an open terrace at the back of the hotel. The room was nice and quiet with only the rabbits as neighbours. The bed was great too ensuring a good slumber near the Humber!

The hotel reception and bar area is lovely with beautiful views of Humber Bridge, but the rooms are poorly ventilated, no aircon or power sockets by the bed and are in need of a facelift. Aside from that a good bar with terrace, and breakfast are nice!

Staff not interested, said we will be about it’s quiet so we’re sitting in the back, had to wait ages to be served. Rooms full of bugs and towels had flys on, carpet in room all torn, no staff about to ask for help.

We had two rooms , my sister in one and myself and my daughter in the other. Our room was clean and comfortable, my sister's room appeared to be the same on arrival but later on in the evening when she opened a cupboard underneath the hospitality tray she found two half eaten pizza 's in boxes and mouldy garlic bread. She reported it next morning and the receptionist took note and was mortified to hear of it. However on returning from our day out they were still there so she took them down to the reception where another receptionist was mortified as well. She gave us all some tokens for a free drink that evening. We did enjoy our stay apart from that, the breakfast was very good , staff were very friendly and helpful, everywhere else was spotless.

Hotel it tired and in need of an update, especially shower curtains to be removed....they are so unhygienic! The rooms are unbearably hot and considering it is only 15 degrees outside i would not want to stay there when it is any warmer. Also made the mistake of accepting a room next to stairs which was quite noisy.

Property needs a revamp. Room had wall damage, carpets damaged. Tv was broken on arrival but thankfully staff replaced the tv. Beds gave us both a bad back every night. Shower is no good for someone 6ft or taller! Buffet breakfast was pretty bland but the breakfast was made to order on the weekend which was much better

First and last stay at a best western. Its very much a cheap and cheerful place but not for me... The room was very warm - No air-conditioning. Couldn't sleep because of the TV blaring next door..

Having arrived at the hotel using a crutch to walk with. The checking receptionist then put me in room 17, with in his words just a few steps. Having descending a total of 14 steps, then finding the room was the last one down a vast corridor starting with room 1. The following morning at breakfast also up steps about 10 in total i met Maria a waitress in the breakfast room who saw my problems immediately. She said she would get my room changed and for the rest of my stay would bring my breakfast to me in the lounge area No steps involved. Later that day my new room 102 was on level flooring and the first room through door a much more accessible room for someone with Multiple Sclerosis. All in all it must said that Marias actions were above and beyond for which I was grateful.

Reception staff were a delight; provided comprehensive overview of hotel and facilities on arrival; very welcoming too; nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay. Bar staff amiable and efficient. Room upgraded at no cost which was a welcome surprise. A comfortable nights sleep was experienced in a clean well maintained room. Will definately stay here again. Thanks to the Hotel team who clearly work well together :) Top marks...

Stayed here before when it was the Hallmark hotel, now it's privately owned and operated using the Best Western branding. So the fundamentals remain in place and it's not bad but it could be improved and fairly easily as well. Staff numbers must be tight so reception is not manned that much. The hotel entrance is all fine but as you progress deeper into the building the state of the carpets and corridor maintenance can easily be improved. We were in room 32 so down in the depths a bit. The corridor store room doors are battered and in need of a coat of paint, the carpets need an industrial clean and/or replacing, quick fixes which would bring the standards up. Similar story in the room, some nice touches but then marks to the plaster on the walls on the edges, bathroom ceiling paint peeling off, worn carpet areas in the corners. Easily remedied though, just employ a person to bring the main areas and rooms up to scratch a bit and you could easily charge more. Bit of filler, coat of paint and a carpet cleaner - job done. Breakfast as well, for £15 the quality of ingredients needs to be stepped up a bit. Poor quality sausages are a sign of corner cutting to the detriment of the overall offering. Stayed here before when it was the Hallmark hotel, now it's privately owned and operated using the Best Western branding. So the fundamentals remain in place and it's not bad but it could be improved and fairly easily as well. Staff numbers must be tight so reception is not manned that much. The hotel entrance is all fine but as you progress deeper into the building the state of the carpets and corridor maintenance can easily be improved. We were in room 32 so down in the depths a bit. The corridor store room doors are battered and in need of a coat of paint, the carpets need an industrial clean and/or replacing, quick fixes which would bring the standards up. Similar story in the room, some nice touches but then marks to the plaster on the walls on the edges, bathroom ceiling paint peeling off, worn carpet areas in the corners. Easily remedied though, just employ a person to bring the main areas and rooms up to scratch a bit and you could easily charge more. Bit of filler, coat of paint and a carpet cleaner - job done. Breakfast as well, for £15 the quality of ingredients needs to be stepped up a bit. Poor quality sausages are a sign of corner cutting to the detriment of the overall offering. Check in was super friendly and he also served us drinks The corridors smell of cigarettes and some very unsightly stains on the carpets on the walk to our room. The room was clean and very comfortable. The gent on reception cannot do enough for you.

We stayed over for a night on a motorcycle trip. The hotel was perfect for our stay with beautiful views of the Humber from an open terrace at the back of the hotel. The room was nice and quiet with only the rabbits as neighbours. The bed was great too ensuring a good slumber near the Humber!

We had two rooms , my sister in one and myself and my daughter in the other. Our room was clean and comfortable, my sister's room appeared to be the same on arrival but later on in the evening when she opened a cupboard underneath the hospitality tray she found two half eaten pizza 's in boxes and mouldy garlic bread. She reported it next morning and the receptionist took note and was mortified to hear of it. However on returning from our day out they were still there so she took them down to the reception where another receptionist was mortified as well. She gave us all some tokens for a free drink that evening. We did enjoy our stay apart from that, the breakfast was very good , staff were very friendly and helpful, everywhere else was spotless.

Lovely place but restaurant was terrible half the menu not available i ordered fish and chips, the fish was massively overcooked the batter was really dark brown hard to cut into the peas were tasteless the only thing edible was the chips.

Property needs a revamp. Room had wall damage, carpets damaged. Tv was broken on arrival but thankfully staff replaced the tv. Beds gave us both a bad back every night. Shower is no good for someone 6ft or taller! Buffet breakfast was pretty bland but the breakfast was made to order on the weekend which was much better

Pretty poor. Bedside lights not working, bath not holding water. TV remote didn’t work. Beers at bar poor, almost flat. Half the items on the menu missing and very expensive. Breakfast was cold. Stairs leading to rooms 1-18 dirty and carpets ripped. Would not stay again.

Room was a little tired need some renovation to upgrade. Holes in the carpet and bath panel warped. Dinner service was shambolic. We gave up and went out, as another couple had been waiting 1hr 10 mins for food. The poor lad behind bar was trying his best to take orders but nothing was coming out of kitchen.

Good value hotel, perfect for getting into north ferriby, and not far from Hull. The view over the Humber is impressive. This is 30 minutes walk away from North ferriby so somewhat more remote compared to a hotel in a city

Our first room given the key did not work. The second room smelt of wet dog. The robes, slippers and water were not there. An extra bed should have been in the room , they offered to put in a trundle bed in a small space as we booked an executive multiple bed room. The room was far too small for that so we declined it. The room was unpleasant to be in, it was smelly even with the windows open which let in loads of midges as the trees are very close. I have three messages from hotel all of which said they had links. The links did not work. We arrived on a Sunday. No food was being served. We were not told this. All in all the poorest hotel stay ever, dont go there.
