amazing stay! stunning views of Positano coastline and sea. Silvia and Roberto were excellent hosts. very kind and friendly and mostly very helpful. We had a wonderful check in with a chilled beverage and tasty homemade sweets. Room was amazing, lots of shelf space inside. Beautifully appointed room newly renovated. Outdoor deck with hot tub and two lounge chairs top notch. Bedding very comfortable and a great shower. This BB is a must stay location!

LaBarbera is a beautiful Bed and Breakfast, run by the most wonderful people. It is immaculately kept and is lovely. The rooms are spacious and have their own large patio. My room had a hot tub and overlooked the coast. The hosts go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The food is delicious with so many options. The communication was fantastic. I had many conversations with Roberta prior to our stay and she responded without delay. The only problem with the B&B was leaving because I did not want to leave!

Ein tolles Haus mit liebevoll gestaltetem Ambiente. Unsere Zimmer hatten jeweils eine mega Terrasse mit Whirlpool und phantastischem Ausblick auf das Meer sowie Positano. Das Team ist super freundlich und serviert jeden Morgen ein hervorragendes Frühstück. Vom ersten Augenblick an fühlten wir uns willkommen und genossen die familiäre Atmosphäre. Zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit wurde auf alle Fragen und Anliegen eingegangen, zudem gab es Tipps und Informationen. Eine herzliche Umarmung und ein kleines Geschenk zum Abschied rundeten eine wunderbare Woche ab.

We travelled throughout Italy, and stayed at multiple places. La Barbera was by far the best place we have stayed and personally the best place I had ever stayed. First off, the staff was attentive and were willing to do anything to help you with whatever you needed. Whether is was information, transportation, recommendations, they were helpful. The breakfast in the morning with a beautiful view daily was amazing. The rooms are beautiful, top-notch cleanliness, and a beautiful outside porch with a hottub. The shower was updated and had great water pressure as well. This is the perfect place between Positano and Amalfi to sleep and relax away from the craziness. Perfect place to stay and if you choose to visit Positano or Amalfi for the day, they will tell you which bus to take or order you a taxi for a 30 minute ride to each town. Best B&B and best staff, Silvia, Roberto, Francesco were all the perfect hosts at the perfect location and perfect room!

From the Prosecco on our arrival to the thoughtful gift on our departure, our stay at La Barbera simply couldn’t have been better. Silvia, Roberto, Francesco and the rest of the team constantly went out of their way to ensure that my wife and I had the best possible experience. The hotel (I know it’s technically a B&B, but it was so much more than that) is located high above the village of Praiano, with a spectacular view from each of the five rooms along the Amalfi coast past Positano and all the way to Capri. The hotel itself is cleverly designed and was spotlessly clean throughout, and our room was amazing, with a massage shower and a hot tub (an unexpected bonus!) just two of the many luxury touches. Breakfast, served al fresco on the terrace, was one of the highlights of each day and was an experience that will live long in our memories. Another of the highlights was dining at a number of the local restaurants and cafes (recommended by Francesco), all of which were excellent, both in terms of the quality of the food and drink and the friendly and efficient customer service. In summary, La Barbera was one of the best - if not the best - hotel that we have stayed in, and we both had a wonderful time. If you’re thinking about making a booking, do it - you won’t be disappointed!

The private hot tub overlooking the Mediterranean was what sold me, but it turns out this place has so much more to offer. This B&B checks all the boxes: stunning views, high quality accommodations, amazing staff, and great perks. I have never given a perfect 10 review, but this place easily deserves it and then some! The hotel was stunning, with attention paid to every detail. The rooms were beautifully decorated, large, comfortable, and clean. The hot tub on the patio was truly amazing, especially after a long day of hiking the Path of the Gods trail. The staff was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a perfect stay, from the welcome drinks of fresh-squeezed orange juice, to the breakfast on the patio overlooking the Mediterranean. If you are coming by car, the fact that they have their own parking is a huge benefit on the Amalfi Coast. I wasn’t even planning on visiting Praiano, but I wanted to try this B&B and I’m glad I did. I would have stayed a week if I could.

Place was exceptional!! Family run business and the customer service was just fantastic. Sylvia and the brothers are perfect hosts. The views are to die for and the rooms, terraces and public areas and so beautifully decorated. We had a room with a hot tub and this made our 25th anniversary perfect. Breakfast was the best we have had on our whole trip along the coast with the best yogurt ever. It’s a little bit of paradise. Even when I forgot something out the room Roberto came and brought it to the next hotel we were staying at! Thank you all. We will be returning 😊

B&B La Barbera was a dream come true for our long-awaited honeymoon! The staff (Sylvia, Francesco and Roberto) went out of their way to make our stay an unforgettable experience. From the welcome drinks (my fav was the lemon spritz) and beautiful flowers in our room, to the incredible breakfasts on the terrace and evenings spent in the jacuzzi tub overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, our expectations were far exceeded. We only wished we had booked a longer stay! Thank you B&B La Barbera- we hope to see you again soon!

The Team: Silvia, Roberto, Francesco, Gelsomina and Anna are the kindest, warmest people you will meet. You will instantly feel that your comfort is their top priority. You could not be in better hands. The Property: Immaculately maintained and so thoughtfully designed and curated. You could eat off the floors. It is so evident that there is a level of pride of ownership that is rarely seen. Anything that is supposed to shine, shines. The smells of the property evoke cleanliness. The Suite: Magical. What's important to call out is there's no real segregation between the "cheapest" and "most expensive" rooms. Anyone who's lucky enough to stay here will experience very much the same level of luxury, because the baseline of every suite is quite literally, luxury. The private terrace is the star of the show with sun loungers, a hot tub and outdoor shower! The Breakfast: Unreal. Creamy cappuccinos, detox water, fresh juices, homemade cakes, locally made cheeses, dairy and yogurt (life changing), fresh fruits, cold cuts, fresh bread... You will not find another breakfast like this anywhere. Overall: If I could give B&B La Barbera 10 out of 5 ☆, I would. We will DEFINITELY be back. This was the highlight of our vacation. Amazing stay at La Barbera. Sylvia, Roberto and Francesco were incredibly helpful with all aspects of our stay. The view from our terrace was spectacular! Breakfast was delicious! The hot tub was a plus! We would love to come back and stay longer next visit to the Amalfi Coast. Most beautiful B&B we have ever had the pleasure to stay at. If you are going to Praiano you NEED to stay here, these are some of the kindest people you will ever meet. The food was amazing, the rooms are extremely clean, the view is incredible. Cannot say enough about the generosity of the staff there. Will be returning here.

Sylvia, Roberto and Francesco went above and beyond to help us with planning every little detail of our trip to make it extra special and stress free for us from the very first moment that we arrived. The rooms and terrace are stunning, and the view is even better, it really does take your breath away. The room was completely spotless and tidy each day. One day we even came home to a birthday gift for my partner which was so sweet. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and it was so lovely to sit on the beautiful terrace each morning. Make sure to request the cake of the day with breakfast each morning, all of them were soooo tasty. The Team: Silvia, Roberto, Francesco, Gelsomina and Anna are the kindest, warmest people you will meet. You will instantly feel that your comfort is their top priority. You could not be in better hands. The Property: Immaculately maintained and so thoughtfully designed and curated. You could eat off the floors. It is so evident that there is a level of pride of ownership that is rarely seen. Anything that is supposed to shine, shines. The smells of the property evoke cleanliness. The Suite: Magical. What's important to call out is there's no real segregation between the "cheapest" and "most expensive" rooms. Anyone who's lucky enough to stay here will experience very much the same level of luxury, because the baseline of every suite is quite literally, luxury. The private terrace is the star of the show with sun loungers, a hot tub and outdoor shower! The Breakfast: Unreal. Creamy cappuccinos, detox water, fresh juices, homemade cakes, locally made cheeses, dairy and yogurt (life changing), fresh fruits, cold cuts, fresh bread... You will not find another breakfast like this anywhere. Overall: If I could give B&B La Barbera 10 out of 5 ☆, I would. We will DEFINITELY be back. This was the highlight of our vacation. This hotel is just amazing and one of the most memorable hotels I stayed in. Amazing location with super clean and beautiful rooms with private views of the Amalfi coast. The breakfast is superb and staff are very friendly and helpful. When I go back to Amalfi, I will reserve this hotel before booking my flight.

amazing stay! stunning views of Positano coastline and sea. Silvia and Roberto were excellent hosts. very kind and friendly and mostly very helpful. We had a wonderful check in with a chilled beverage and tasty homemade sweets. Room was amazing, lots of shelf space inside. Beautifully appointed room newly renovated. Outdoor deck with hot tub and two lounge chairs top notch. Bedding very comfortable and a great shower. This BB is a must stay location!

LaBarbera is a beautiful Bed and Breakfast, run by the most wonderful people. It is immaculately kept and is lovely. The rooms are spacious and have their own large patio. My room had a hot tub and overlooked the coast. The hosts go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The food is delicious with so many options. The communication was fantastic. I had many conversations with Roberta prior to our stay and she responded without delay. The only problem with the B&B was leaving because I did not want to leave!

We travelled throughout Italy, and stayed at multiple places. La Barbera was by far the best place we have stayed and personally the best place I had ever stayed. First off, the staff was attentive and were willing to do anything to help you with whatever you needed. Whether is was information, transportation, recommendations, they were helpful. The breakfast in the morning with a beautiful view daily was amazing. The rooms are beautiful, top-notch cleanliness, and a beautiful outside porch with a hottub. The shower was updated and had great water pressure as well. This is the perfect place between Positano and Amalfi to sleep and relax away from the craziness. Perfect place to stay and if you choose to visit Positano or Amalfi for the day, they will tell you which bus to take or order you a taxi for a 30 minute ride to each town. Best B&B and best staff, Silvia, Roberto, Francesco were all the perfect hosts at the perfect location and perfect room!

From the Prosecco on our arrival to the thoughtful gift on our departure, our stay at La Barbera simply couldn’t have been better. Silvia, Roberto, Francesco and the rest of the team constantly went out of their way to ensure that my wife and I had the best possible experience. The hotel (I know it’s technically a B&B, but it was so much more than that) is located high above the village of Praiano, with a spectacular view from each of the five rooms along the Amalfi coast past Positano and all the way to Capri. The hotel itself is cleverly designed and was spotlessly clean throughout, and our room was amazing, with a massage shower and a hot tub (an unexpected bonus!) just two of the many luxury touches. Breakfast, served al fresco on the terrace, was one of the highlights of each day and was an experience that will live long in our memories. Another of the highlights was dining at a number of the local restaurants and cafes (recommended by Francesco), all of which were excellent, both in terms of the quality of the food and drink and the friendly and efficient customer service. In summary, La Barbera was one of the best - if not the best - hotel that we have stayed in, and we both had a wonderful time. If you’re thinking about making a booking, do it - you won’t be disappointed!

The private hot tub overlooking the Mediterranean was what sold me, but it turns out this place has so much more to offer. This B&B checks all the boxes: stunning views, high quality accommodations, amazing staff, and great perks. I have never given a perfect 10 review, but this place easily deserves it and then some! The hotel was stunning, with attention paid to every detail. The rooms were beautifully decorated, large, comfortable, and clean. The hot tub on the patio was truly amazing, especially after a long day of hiking the Path of the Gods trail. The staff was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a perfect stay, from the welcome drinks of fresh-squeezed orange juice, to the breakfast on the patio overlooking the Mediterranean. If you are coming by car, the fact that they have their own parking is a huge benefit on the Amalfi Coast. I wasn’t even planning on visiting Praiano, but I wanted to try this B&B and I’m glad I did. I would have stayed a week if I could.

We felt like family here. Sylvia, Roberto and Francesco were all so polite and accommodating. Sylvia greeted us and as we were between lunch and dinner yet hungry, she offered us some small bites to tide us over until dinner (which were amazing!). She helped us with making dinner reservations too. We had our 13 year old son with us and Sylvia was so nice to talk to him and make him feel special too. She also made sure we had a to-go bag of food and drinks when we had a 5 am taxi ride to our train. This was the best service I've ever had at a hotel or B&B. The room was amazing - the balcony and view just make it such a wow factor! We were able to walk to restaurants and shops, but I will warn that it is on the side of a mountain and there were a lot of steep stairs to get up and down! There is a bus available if you don't want to do stairs.

Place was exceptional!! Family run business and the customer service was just fantastic. Sylvia and the brothers are perfect hosts. The views are to die for and the rooms, terraces and public areas and so beautifully decorated. We had a room with a hot tub and this made our 25th anniversary perfect. Breakfast was the best we have had on our whole trip along the coast with the best yogurt ever. It’s a little bit of paradise. Even when I forgot something out the room Roberto came and brought it to the next hotel we were staying at! Thank you all. We will be returning 😊

We spent our 10 year anniversary at B&B La Barbera and had an amazing time. The only thing better than the views are the wonderful staff that work there. They truly treat you like family, making sure all your needs are meet. Special thanks to Sylvia for all her kindness, she is so sweet, and we never forget her.

The Team: Silvia, Roberto, Francesco, Gelsomina and Anna are the kindest, warmest people you will meet. You will instantly feel that your comfort is their top priority. You could not be in better hands. The Property: Immaculately maintained and so thoughtfully designed and curated. You could eat off the floors. It is so evident that there is a level of pride of ownership that is rarely seen. Anything that is supposed to shine, shines. The smells of the property evoke cleanliness. The Suite: Magical. What's important to call out is there's no real segregation between the "cheapest" and "most expensive" rooms. Anyone who's lucky enough to stay here will experience very much the same level of luxury, because the baseline of every suite is quite literally, luxury. The private terrace is the star of the show with sun loungers, a hot tub and outdoor shower! The Breakfast: Unreal. Creamy cappuccinos, detox water, fresh juices, homemade cakes, locally made cheeses, dairy and yogurt (life changing), fresh fruits, cold cuts, fresh bread... You will not find another breakfast like this anywhere. Overall: If I could give B&B La Barbera 10 out of 5 ☆, I would. We will DEFINITELY be back. This was the highlight of our vacation. The most amazing stay! From the moment we arrived we were personally welcomed by one of the owners, Roberto with drinks, munchies and Prosecco! The other owner Francesco also made sure we were always looked after and taken care of. The scenery is breathtaking and the hotel is beautiful! The details and tiling incredible. This is not your ordinary bnb. Breakfast is a delicious feast and the staff so friendly. Sylvia really made our stay by looking after us and providing a wealth of information about the area, hiking trails, tours and restaurants. This little town has all the beauty and charm of Positano without the noise and busyness. In fact, we were reluctant to do a review and let this secret out! We loved our stay so much and would love to return!

Celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary with a stay at B&B La Barbera was just perfect. Sylvia was the best hostess. Answering any questions, helping with dinner recommendations, whatever we needed she was there for us. What a beautiful pleasant person. We felt like family here. Sylvia, Roberto and Francesco were all so polite and accommodating. Sylvia greeted us and as we were between lunch and dinner yet hungry, she offered us some small bites to tide us over until dinner (which were amazing!). She helped us with making dinner reservations too. We had our 13 year old son with us and Sylvia was so nice to talk to him and make him feel special too. She also made sure we had a to-go bag of food and drinks when we had a 5 am taxi ride to our train. This was the best service I've ever had at a hotel or B&B. The room was amazing - the balcony and view just make it such a wow factor! We were able to walk to restaurants and shops, but I will warn that it is on the side of a mountain and there were a lot of steep stairs to get up and down! There is a bus available if you don't want to do stairs.

We travelled throughout Italy, and stayed at multiple places. La Barbera was by far the best place we have stayed and personally the best place I had ever stayed. First off, the staff was attentive and were willing to do anything to help you with whatever you needed. Whether is was information, transportation, recommendations, they were helpful. The breakfast in the morning with a beautiful view daily was amazing. The rooms are beautiful, top-notch cleanliness, and a beautiful outside porch with a hottub. The shower was updated and had great water pressure as well. This is the perfect place between Positano and Amalfi to sleep and relax away from the craziness. Perfect place to stay and if you choose to visit Positano or Amalfi for the day, they will tell you which bus to take or order you a taxi for a 30 minute ride to each town. Best B&B and best staff, Silvia, Roberto, Francesco were all the perfect hosts at the perfect location and perfect room!

From the Prosecco on our arrival to the thoughtful gift on our departure, our stay at La Barbera simply couldn’t have been better. Silvia, Roberto, Francesco and the rest of the team constantly went out of their way to ensure that my wife and I had the best possible experience. The hotel (I know it’s technically a B&B, but it was so much more than that) is located high above the village of Praiano, with a spectacular view from each of the five rooms along the Amalfi coast past Positano and all the way to Capri. The hotel itself is cleverly designed and was spotlessly clean throughout, and our room was amazing, with a massage shower and a hot tub (an unexpected bonus!) just two of the many luxury touches. Breakfast, served al fresco on the terrace, was one of the highlights of each day and was an experience that will live long in our memories. Another of the highlights was dining at a number of the local restaurants and cafes (recommended by Francesco), all of which were excellent, both in terms of the quality of the food and drink and the friendly and efficient customer service. In summary, La Barbera was one of the best - if not the best - hotel that we have stayed in, and we both had a wonderful time. If you’re thinking about making a booking, do it - you won’t be disappointed!

This hotel is just amazing and one of the most memorable hotels I stayed in. Amazing location with super clean and beautiful rooms with private views of the Amalfi coast. The breakfast is superb and staff are very friendly and helpful. When I go back to Amalfi, I will reserve this hotel before booking my flight.

B&B La Barbera was a dream come true for our long-awaited honeymoon! The staff (Sylvia, Francesco and Roberto) went out of their way to make our stay an unforgettable experience. From the welcome drinks (my fav was the lemon spritz) and beautiful flowers in our room, to the incredible breakfasts on the terrace and evenings spent in the jacuzzi tub overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, our expectations were far exceeded. The Team: Silvia, Roberto, Francesco, Gelsomina and Anna are the kindest, warmest people you will meet. You will instantly feel that your comfort is their top priority. You could not be in better hands. The Property: Immaculately maintained and so thoughtfully designed and curated. You could eat off the floors. It is so evident that there is a level of pride of ownership that is rarely seen. Anything that is supposed to shine, shines. The smells of the property evoke cleanliness. The Suite: Magical. What's important to call out is there's no real segregation between the "cheapest" and "most expensive" rooms. Anyone who's lucky enough to stay here will experience very much the same level of luxury, because the baseline of every suite is quite literally, luxury. The private terrace is the star of the show with sun loungers, a hot tub and outdoor shower! The Breakfast: Unreal. Creamy cappuccinos, detox water, fresh juices, homemade cakes, locally made cheeses, dairy and yogurt (life changing), fresh fruits, cold cuts, fresh bread... You will not find another breakfast like this anywhere. Overall: If I could give B&B La Barbera 10 out of 5 ☆, I would. We will DEFINITELY be back. This was the highlight of our vacation. The most amazing stay! From the moment we arrived we were personally welcomed by one of the owners, Roberto with drinks, munchies and Prosecco! The other owner Francesco also made sure we were always looked after and taken care of. The scenery is breathtaking and the hotel is beautiful! The details and tiling incredible. This is not your ordinary bnb. Breakfast is a delicious feast and the staff so friendly. Sylvia really made our stay by looking after us and providing a wealth of information about the area, hiking trails, tours and restaurants. This little town has all the beauty and charm of Positano without the noise and busyness. In fact, we were reluctant to do a review and let this secret out! We loved our stay so much and would love to return!

This hotel is just amazing and one of the most memorable hotels I stayed in. Amazing location with super clean and beautiful rooms with private views of the Amalfi coast. The breakfast is superb and staff are very friendly and helpful. When I go back to Amalfi, I will reserve this hotel before booking my flight.

Amazing stay at La Barbera. Sylvia, Roberto and Francesco were incredibly helpful with all aspects of our stay. The view from our terrace was spectacular! Breakfast was delicious! The hot tub was a plus! We would love to come back and stay longer next visit to the Amalfi Coast. Most beautiful B&B we have ever had the pleasure to stay at. If you are lucky enough to book La Barbera. Do not hesitate! It is everything.. and more.

Phenomenal! This place is a total gem! Book it and you will find yourself in the dreamiest place in Praiano. Beautiful accommodation. Very cozy bed. Views outstanding. Staff helpful beyond words. Breakfast delicious. It is not possible to be disappointed.

We have just arrived home from an amazing stay in Praiano. We stayed in La Barbera B & B. We having nothing but positive words to say about this place! From the moment we arrived, we were met by two wonderful staff members. Sylvia was a delight. So very friendly, approachable, knowledgeable about the area and offered great advice and recommendations. Our room was beautiful with the most amazing views over the coastline. The jacuzzi hot bath on there was luxurious! Furthermore, the breakfast was exquisite. It felt like everything had been thought of and offered. The attention to detail was noted. We rate the stay highly and will return in the future. Thank you so much for an amazing experience. The Waddingtons, England.

We travelled throughout Italy, and stayed at multiple places. La Barbera was by far the best place we have stayed and personally the best place I had ever stayed. First off, the staff was attentive and were willing to do anything to help you with whatever you needed. Whether is was information, transportation, recommendations, they were helpful. The breakfast in the morning with a beautiful view daily was amazing. The rooms are beautiful, top-notch cleanliness, and a beautiful outside porch with a hottub. The shower was updated and had great water pressure as well. This is the perfect place between Positano and Amalfi to sleep and relax away from the craziness. Perfect place to stay and if you choose to visit Positano or Amalfi for the day, they will tell you which bus to take or order you a taxi for a 30 minute ride to each town. Best B&B and best staff, Silvia, Roberto, Francesco were all the perfect hosts at the perfect location and perfect room!
