Irori Guest House Tenmaku

Rigtig sødt, sjovt og venligt personale ved Irori Guesthouse. God placering og gode faciliteter. Rigtig hyggelugt at være med til aftensmaden rundt om kulgrillen - kan varmt anbefales!

Le personnel est très accueillant, accessible et chaleureux. Je regrette de ne pas avoir réservé le diner la veille de mon arrivé (je ne suis resté qu’une nuit). Le silence est respecté à partir de 22h, il y a 2 machines à laver et 2 seches linges à dispostion. L’arret de bus pour le téléphérique est à 8 minutes à pied, il y a un onsen à 15 minutes (il faut grimper un peu la route) et la gare est proche. Tres belle experience !

This place has a lot of character and was a great experience. We didn’t book the Irori dinner, which I regretted very much. It’s a hostel, not a hotel, so as expected it was a bit spartan. However, the main sitting area was lovely and interesting and the staff were top notch - warm and accommodating. If you are looking for character and tradition over modern comforts, you will enjoy your stay very much. It’s also just a short walk to Gora station where you can hop on the cable car and ropeway as well as catch the train to Hakone-Yumoto. A word of caution that the automated calendar reminder may not map you to the right place. Ensure you are navigating to a location near Gora so you don’t end up lost and wandering in the pouring rain, kept warm only by the blazing glares of your rage-filled family.

Guest house très sympathique, très dans l'ambiance japonaise et facilement accessible en transport en communs. Avis plus mitigé sur le repas, quand on connait le prix des repas au Japon, le rapport qualité prix n'est pas dingue.

Family friendly, super clean. Staff helpful and friendly. We took the Irori bbq souper and it was highly recomended. Great stay
