This might be the best hotel experience ive ever had. Everything from the arrival, the staff, the location and the hotel itself is amazing. The property is beautiful and is very well maintained. You wont find better than this anywhere in Khao Lak. The 5 stars are very well deserved. Cant wait to come back.

Devasom was up to date and was a spectacular property. I had a room with a pool that opened up to the lagoon. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I was celebrating my Spouse's birthday and the team made her birthday very memorable with flowers, wine, cake, etc...

This is an amazing resort with fantastic staff. Everybody greets you with a genuine smile, from the front desk to the cleaner to the groundskeepers, etc. The restaurant has a Michelin star which we didn't even realise when booking. Suffice to say we went for the 8-course degustation! The pool is huge and was mostly empty while we were there (September), and the pool grill has great food as well. Breakfast is also amaaazing with local Thai delights like pandan leaf and sticky rice, along with more European foods. Our room was THE BEST we have ever stayed in, with its own private plunge pool and loungers. We were sad to leave, but had such a good time here. 10/10 outstanding

My husband and I booked this hotel originally back in 2019 for what was meant to be our honeymoon in 2020, Covid had other ideas so was postponed twice. Firstly the hotel was amazing at communicating with me when trying to move our booking. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything was simply perfect. The staff, the facilities, our room, the bar and restaurants were just amazing. We ate in the hotel almost every night and had plenty of variety. We really felt the hotel had everything we could need so we rarely ventured into town, we just enjoyed everything the hotel had to offer and really felt so relaxed there. We stayed in the beach pool villa and we have never been somewhere so beautiful. It had everything we needed and more. Beauty who worked there was there to help us with anything we needed and we really felt she went above and beyond to make our stay feel so special, she was just incredible. I cannot rave about this place enough, if we return to Khao Lak we could simply not imagine staying anywhere else. I honestly don't have a single negative thing to say about our stay here we simply fell in love with the place!

How do you start off describing this magical resort? From the gong at the lobby to the friendliest staff you will ever encounter in Thailand - this resort is without a doubt the best resort my wife and I have ever been to. Great view, access to the beach, and amazing food and drinks! 10/10 recommendation. See you again Devasom❤️ Ps. If you stay at this resort DO NOT miss out on their free activities like Muay Thai, Mocktail making classes, sound bath, YOGA, and more! You will regret it.

This resort is a stunningly beautiful place to spend a few days. The pool is gorgeous and there is the beach right there. Quests can take advantage of available bikes, canoes and surfboards anytime and the staff cannot do enough to help and be of service. Buffet breakfast is amazing and there are 2 restaurants within the resort for other meals. There is a spa offering relaxing services.

wow, we love this hotel first off. We got a room with the sea facing view and we did have a beautiful ocean view. The room was absolutely beautiful. The hotel grounds, immaculate, and all of the architecture was so interesting and perfectly planned. The staff were beyond friendly when we showed up to breakfast 10 minutes early they open the door and welcomed us in and on our last day we had to leave even earlier than that they opened breakfast just for us now that’s what I call Service! We enjoyed eating out by the pool and watching the fire show. Keith Richardson we are really hoping to come back to thailand and stay at Devasom again in the future.

Amazing hotel and beautiful decorated. The pool area are stunning - a small hiccup were a smaller pool of dirt and sunscreen - when shown to pool staff they just looked and did nothing. Breakfast is good - but is definitely better at JW Mariott - however for me the location, smaller size beat other hotels in Khao Lak. I only had dinner at the Grill Bar (at the pool) - okay good but I had trouble to identify the Michelin touch. Will Dream of coming back 😊

Everything we were hoping for - delicious and varied breakfast with plenty of choice, welcoming staff, immaculately kept grounds and generous room sizes. We only wish we had booked longer, and will do next time.

Firstly the hotel was amazing at communicating with me when trying to move our booking. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything was simply perfect. The staff, the facilities, our room, the bar and restaurants were just amazing. We ate in the hotel almost every night and had plenty of variety. We really felt the hotel had everything we could need so we rarely ventured into town, we just enjoyed everything the hotel had to offer and really felt so relaxed there. We stayed in the beach pool villa and we have never been somewhere so beautiful. It had everything we needed and more. Beauty who worked there was there to help us with anything we needed and we really felt she went above and beyond to make our stay feel so special, she was just incredible. I cannot rave about this place enough, if we return to Khao Lak we could simply not imagine staying anywhere else. I honestly don't have a single negative thing to say about our stay here we simply fell in love with the place!

This is a beautiful hotel with luxurious rooms. Very comfortable beds, beautifully decorated with views to the ocean and over the pool. The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. Max at the front desk gets a special mention as he went above and beyond to make our stay special. The hotel is slightly out of town, but they offer a free shuttle service a few times a day. The only negative for us was the quality of the food. I think its lets the hotel down and there is certainly room for improvement. Other than that, I highly recommend it and would love to stay there again.

From the moment you enter the beautiful reception area with its impressive vaulted ceilings and artisan made doors, you are met with friendly staff who will later feel like friends. Our room 426 was on the upper floor which was well worth it (even with a walking aid) for the amazing views and the complete privacy. This wasn't just a room, it was a suite, complete with a lounge, smart TV & beverage area. The bathroom was spacious with shower for 2 people , double sinks, a large "dressing table" and equipped with no less than a Dyson supersonic hairdryer ! The beautiful freestanding bath is inside the room, although the wooden stacking doors could make it part of the bathroom too. At night, after supper, you could listen to your favourite music via the Bose bluetooth speaker while you relax on either the comfortable L-shaped couch or the ultra luxurious super king bed with its crisp bedlinens. From our pool, we could take in the views of the river flowing into the sea. If this wasn't enough for anyone, then you still had the buttler team of Max & Chay ready at your beck & call via WhatsApp 24/7 , as well as the friendly pool staff & breakfast ladies like Nicky (?) seeing to all your needs. Special dietary requirements were met promptly and all service was always with a smile . We have visited Devasom Hua Hin too and the same personal touches are evident here in Khoa Lak too. wow, we love this hotel first off. We got a room with the sea facing view and we did have a beautiful ocean view. The room was absolutely beautiful. The hotel grounds, immaculate, and all of the architecture was so interesting and perfectly planned. The staff were beyond friendly when we showed up to breakfast 10 minutes early they open the door and welcomed us in and on our last day we had to leave even earlier than that they opened breakfast just for us now that’s what I call Service! We enjoyed eating out by the pool and watching the fire show. Keith Richardson we are really hoping to come back to thailand and stay at Devasom again in the future.

We had two separate bookings and had to change rooms, even though we paid the same amount for all the nights we spent at Devasom. They offered an upgrade (140$ for one night) so we could stay in the same room. We refused and were treated like second class customers onwards: The "better" room (Junior Suite) is almost the same size as the room before and certainly does not feel like a junior suite. We informed the Hotel about being on our honeymoon - not a single congratulation or literally anything. We don't expect anything complimentary, but like a flower on the bed?! Nope. To their critically acclaimed restaurant: we waited 40mins for our food, the first wine bottle we ordered was not available, the second took another 15mins to organize (we had a good view of them searching for the bottle) and to top it all off, one of the servers spent her evening texting on her phone, giggling. Also fun fact: we had a voucher for 10% off, saying no need to bring to the restaurant. Of course we were not given any discount. Pool staff is great, water is exchanged and they are really attentive. Beach chairs are okay, have had more comfortable ones.

Amazing hotel, amazing staff! Everyone was super nice and absolutely awesome! I wish i could remember everyone’s names because everyone was exceptional but special thanks to Tommy (who provided an AMAZING nanny service) and Id from the kids club, words can’t describe how awesome and helpful they were. This might be the best hotel experience ive ever had. Everything from the arrival, the staff, the location and the hotel itself is amazing. The property is beautiful and is very well maintained. You wont find better than this anywhere in Khao Lak. The 5 stars are very well deserved. Cant wait to come back.

Vi følte os meget velkomne fra første øjeblik og hotellet var præcis lige så lækkert som billederne havde vist. Sikkerheden omkring covid-19 var i top overalt på hotellet og vi følte os trygge under hele opholdet. Service var personlig og vi fik tildelt en fast kontaktperson som vi kommunikerede med via WhatsApp dagligt. Indretning er smuk og gennemført. Der er desværre ikke så meget liv omkring hotellet og “byen” / centrum var ikke et besøg værd. Der er dog flere spisesteder langs stranden, massage osv. Vi kunne ha’ ønsket at der var nogle få aktiviteter til vores to teenage børn. Bordtennis, poolbord eller lign. Morgenmaden var heller ikke så varieret som man kunne ønske når man bord i 7 nætter. Men kvaliteten af mad og drikke var i top!

初めてのカオラック滞在にはとても良いホテルでした。スタッフの皆さんが笑顔で挨拶するホスピタリティを持っていた事が素晴らしい。フロントも、清掃スタッフもレストランスタッフも皆感じが良い。ロケーションも海とラグーンを感じる良い環境でした。細かなところですが、部屋の空調が調節難しく、またシャワーの温度調節が難しかったです。

How do you start off describing this magical resort? From the gong at the lobby to the friendliest staff you will ever encounter in Thailand - this resort is without a doubt the best resort my wife and I have ever been to. Great view, access to the beach, and amazing food and drinks! 10/10 recommendation. See you again Devasom❤️ Ps. If you stay at this resort DO NOT miss out on their free activities like Muay Thai, Mocktail making classes, sound bath, YOGA, and more! You will regret it.

This resort is a stunningly beautiful place to spend a few days. The pool is gorgeous and there is the beach right there. Quests can take advantage of available bikes, canoes and surfboards anytime and the staff cannot do enough to help and be of service. Buffet breakfast is amazing and there are 2 restaurants within the resort for other meals. There is a spa offering relaxing services.

Beautiful resort. Amazing staff....great place if you wanna do nothing. Just relax because there is nothing to be done in the area..they could have a proper mini coffee machine in room for a 5-star property.

Everything about our stay at the Devasom was perfect! The staff were extremely friendly, generous and helpful. The food is also excellent!

This is an amazing resort with fantastic staff. Everybody greets you with a genuine smile, from the front desk to the cleaner to the groundskeepers, etc. The restaurant has a Michelin star which we didn't even realise when booking. Suffice to say we went for the 8-course degustation! The pool is huge and was mostly empty while we were there (September), and the pool grill has great food as well. Breakfast is also amaaazing with local Thai delights like pandan leaf and sticky rice, along with more European foods. Our room was THE BEST we have ever stayed in, with its own private plunge pool and loungers. We were sad to leave, but had such a good time here. 10/10 outstanding

Property is VERY clean. Everything is kept up very well. Staff attentive and no problem getting chairs by the pool. Food is really good. I loved the spa. I did deep tissue, detoxing clay wrap which were divine. And a private steam session.

This is a beautiful hotel with luxurious rooms. Very comfortable beds, beautifully decorated with views to the ocean and over the pool. The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. Max at the front desk gets a special mention as he went above and beyond to make our stay special. The hotel is slightly out of town, but they offer a free shuttle service a few times a day. The only negative for us was the quality of the food. I think its lets the hotel down and there is certainly room for improvement. Other than that, I highly recommend it and would love to stay there again.

Amazing hotel and beautiful decorated. The pool area are stunning - a small hiccup were a smaller pool of dirt and sunscreen - when shown to pool staff they just looked and did nothing. Breakfast is good - but is definitely better at JW Mariott - however for me the location, smaller size beat other hotels in Khao Lak. I only had dinner at the Grill Bar (at the pool) - okay good but I had trouble to identify the Michelin touch. Will Dream of coming back 😊

How do you start off describing this magical resort? From the gong at the lobby to the friendliest staff you will ever encounter in Thailand - this resort is without a doubt the best resort my wife and I have ever been to. Great view, access to the beach, and amazing food and drinks! 10/10 recommendation. See you again Devasom❤️ Ps. If you stay at this resort DO NOT miss out on their free activities like Muay Thai, Mocktail making classes, sound bath, YOGA, and more! You will regret it.

The hotel has had high profile plus a customer base whom wants super luxury. Our first night check in was basic and we got a suite room. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was for more Thai food based on fish, sweet deserts which I feel could be expanded to European cuisine. The pool and on site restaurants are very good, child friendly plus the beech is 3 mins walk from any main buildings. We would recommend and best time to visit is Nov to May.

A very beautiful hotel with warm , welcoming & professional staff. The rooms are very large and comfortable - real luxury. The pool area on the beach is beautiful and can only imagine how special the beach would be out of monsoon season. The dining options / quality of food need improvement . Everything else was just wonderful. Highly recommend

Our stay in the Beachfront Pool Villa at Devasom Khao Lak was exceptional from start to finish. The villa itself was beautiful, offering stunning sea views, complete privacy, and direct access to the beach. One of the highlights of our stay was having breakfast served in the villa on several mornings. The quality, presentation, and attention to detail were remarkable and made for a truly special experience. What sets Devasom apart is the level of personal service. Every member of the staff knew our names and genuinely made us feel welcome. The team consistently went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, always with a warm smile and sincere hospitality. The entire resort is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and luxurious without ever feeling pretentious. It is rare to find a hotel where the service feels so personal and authentic.
