The room was spotless & comfortable. We were greeted with a warm welcome & given maps & a lot of useful information. Parking was very easy and it was well located to walk to the lake. A great base yo explore this beautiful region.

Super, unheimlich gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Kamen spät an, nass bis auf die Knochen. Unsere Kleider waren im Nu im Trockner. Vielen Dank! Bequemes Bett, sauber, gepflegt, gute Lage mit einigen Restaurants in Gehweite.

This hotel was a wonderful place to stay. The host was the nicest and most informative resource for our stay. We were offered laundry service at a great rate and were given more information and suggestions than we had time to use! The location is great right by the lake, the only downside is that the walk to main town is 30 minutes. However the whole walk is by the lake so it is very scenic and goes quickly. All facilities were excellent as well! Just an all around great stay!

Très bel accueil même un peu avant l'heure indiqué du check-in , emplacement privilégié près du lac de Bled, au calme, chambre spacieuse avec frigo et bouilloire, une salle pour prendre son petit déjeuner ou une infusion me soir est disponible au RDC . Je conseille vivement .

A clean and well maintained hotel near lake Bled and about 25 minutes walk from the Bled town center. Satisfactory for the most part, except that the room was not cleaned every day. This was surprising considering that we paid EUR 120 per night in January.

Great location, nicely renovated spot. The staff was so helpful and provided us with lots of recommendations that were great and having dedicated parking was excellent. Our main complaint was the lack of window screens. The windows were open in our room when we came in and there were several truly huge bugs inside. The walls in the basement room were also pretty thin so you could hear everyone else but for the price it was a nice stay!

We had an amazing stay at Vila Alpina. Staff were incredibly kind to let us check in early (we arrived very early in the morning) and organise a breakfast basket to be delivered to our room. Beds were comfortable and the entire villa extremely clean. 5 stars, highly recommend! Thank you for such a great stay.

The property was super clean. The setting was nice but very rural. It was a bit of a challenge to get to and a bit of a hike. Check-in was easy. The two downsides had to do with the shower. 1) The soap dispenser was non functional and came off the wall. 2) The shower didn’t drain adequately.

I understand that Lake Bled is a very popular tourist destination and accommodations are at a premium. As well, the Villa Alpina is like a boutique hotel. Having said that the room we had (#9) was more like a storage area converted to a hotel room. Our window was adjacent to the front entrance stairs, so not only did we look out at a staircase we also could hear every guest that came and went. The room was very small and cramped, which in itself isn’t necessarily a bad thing. However it did compromise the bathroom. The front entrance stairs were above the bathroom so the ceiling was sloped to accommodate the stairs. The bathroom door could not be fully opened as it hit the counter. The last item regarding the room was the lack of proper ventilation. There was a sign in the room encouraging guests to leave the fan on and the window open. Unfortunately the bathroom door sealed tight against a bottom plate threshold. In order for proper air exchange to occur the door should be undercut at the bottom so that when the bathroom air is exhausted fresh air will be drawn into the bathroom. Essential the ventilation process is being short circuited. Also, the window did not have a bug screen so when we left the window open at night bugs got into the room. One last comment is regarding safety. The room had exterior mounted, mechanically operated roller shutters. If there was a fire and the shutters were closed there might not be an emergency egress route if the blinds fail.

The property looked lovely. Functional and spacious enough. Breakfast that could be booked at the garden Village was wonderful. The room was nice but you are asked to keep windows open and vent the bathroom whilst you are there not a problem unless you are in room 9 with all of the guests walking up the stairs next to your room. Having the window open really is not an option as people do like to peer through the smallest gap.

Fridge provided, kettle and teabags, no coffee or machine, we were told we could use coffee from the communal area - this was supermarket brand, instant! Only one bath towel given per person and a face cloth, no hand/hair towel, towels were thin. Only 1 pillow per guest. No air conditioning, there is a unit in the room that is set centrally - only works when the temperature is 21° . Hotel is in a nice setting, cant argue with that but far too over-priced, feel like they are "cashing in" on the fact it is 10 mins walk from Lake Bled. For the price charged would definitely expect a far more comfortable hotel.

Great location by lake bled, but a pretty steep climb on a narrow road to get there. Bed was comfortable. AC was good. We had poor and slow internet reception (1 bar, and frequent drop outs.) Only had 2 restaurants in a half mile walking distance, but they were good.

Our room was in a basement. The only window in the room was directly next to an entrance staircase. Late at night or early in the morning, people would walk by and look directly in, so opening the blinds (or window) was not an option at any point. The door the the bathroom was not opening all the way, as the vanity was too close, which made it awkward to use the bathroom or shower. When asked for different room we were told it was not an option. We made a reservation few months in advance, prepaid for the room, yet at check in there was an additional 3 euro/day charge for tax, which was an incontinence to run a credit card yet again, why not add it to the price of of the room? We ask the front desk to help us reserve transport to the airport, which they were kind to do, but the price we were told at booking was 30 euro less than what we were told by the driver. There are so many accommodations available in the area, I would not recommend Vila Alpina, nor stay there again.

We had a great experience at Vila Alpina. Upon arrival, we were given many recommendations of things to do in Bled. The hotel is located only a few minutes from the lake, where we were able to swim in the crystal clear water and take a boat to the island. The farmer’s breakfast was a great way to start our day at a relaxing pace. Our stay was short, but we would certainly return to visit more of the beautiful region.

My stay at Vila Alpina was so pleasant, and I would definitely go back. It was only about a 7 minute walk from the lake and 25 minutes to the top of the lake near all the restaurants. Peter (staff) was very friendly and helpful, and even checked me in early. He showed me a map and talked me through activities/reccomendations, and even leant me an umbrella for the rain! I had a lovely stay :)

This was probably the best experiences we’ve ever had at a hotel. We were greeted by Peter who is a top notch receptionist. He sat with my husband and I for 30 minutes giving us all of the local recommendations and highlighting 3 different maps. The place was warm and cozy, they offered a breakfast basket to be delivered to your room and it was in a great location!

Really friendly reception upon arrival, gave us loads of recommendations of which we experienced quite a few & was grateful for the map we were given. Nice comfortable room, great shower and drink facilities as well as a fridge. Excellent location only a 5 min walk to the lake & a hand full of restaurants, walk a little further say 10 more minutes into Bled itself, although we found the restaurants and bars nearby to be sufficient and served great food.

My stay at Vila Alpina was so pleasant, and I would definitely go back. It was only about a 7 minute walk from the lake and 25 minutes to the top of the lake near all the restaurants. Peter (staff) was very friendly and helpful, and even checked me in early. He showed me a map and talked me through activities/reccomendations, and even leant me an umbrella for the rain! I had a lovely stay :)

Nice, newer property in a residential part of Bled. We walked from the property to circle the lake and visit the castle. Found a great restaurant within walking distance too. We were very comfortable in our room.

This hotel was a wonderful place to stay. The host was the nicest and most informative resource for our stay. We were offered laundry service at a great rate and were given more information and suggestions than we had time to use! The location is great right by the lake, the only downside is that the walk to main town is 30 minutes. However the whole walk is by the lake so it is very scenic and goes quickly. All facilities were excellent as well! Just an all around great stay!

Great location by lake bled, but a pretty steep climb on a narrow road to get there. Bed was comfortable. AC was good. We had poor and slow internet reception (1 bar, and frequent drop outs.) Only had 2 restaurants in a half mile walking distance, but they were good.

Quiet guest house within 10 minutes walk of Lake Bled. Clean, comfortable and without any issues. Lovely and helpful receptionist. Breakfast was charged as an extra if you want it but looking at the basket it appeared rather overpriced.

We had a great experience at Vila Alpina. Upon arrival, we were given many recommendations of things to do in Bled. The hotel is located only a few minutes from the lake, where we were able to swim in the crystal clear water and take a boat to the island. The farmer’s breakfast was a great way to start our day at a relaxing pace. Our stay was short, but we would certainly return to visit more of the beautiful region.

Die Unterkunft liegt nah am Bleder See, welchen man gut zu Fuß erreichen kann. Die Zimmer sind sauber und ordentlich und der Empfang war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet im Partnerhotel war auch sehr gut.

A lovely, clean and private property within walking distance of Lake Bled. The staff, especially Delores, was so helpful and gave good suggestions on where to visit and eat. The "breakfast in a box" option was WONDERFUL (eggs, cheese, bread, fruit, yogurt, pastries, juice) and would highly recommend!

Breakfast option was good but ran out of cutlery quickly. And only instant coffee. Staff very helpful and friendly, parking great and location good. Shower floor was very slippery, should have a mat or grab bar. Window didn't seem to lock but had a safe.

Vila Alpina is located in one of the best places to walk around Lake Bled. We were welcomed from the very beginning to the end. We could get a good info to travel around and really enjoyed staying here. Breakfast Buffet was exceptional . Great place to stay.

Loved the location as long as you are comfortable walking. Tucked away in a residential area, the hotel provided a breakfast option of delivery to your door or the adjacent hotel has a full breakfast buffet. We opted for the buffet and it did not disappoint. The adjacent hotel had a beautiful garden setting with indoor and outdoor seating options.

For the price, it was incredibly disappointing. There is not a 24/7 reception or easily accessible phone number in case of emergency. The AC didn’t work at all and we slept terribly, the only sheet is a comforter which didn’t help. The lake is about an 8 min walk, not 3, and it’s not an easily walkable distance to any establishments. Wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it. Bled is beautiful though.

Jättefint hotel med trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Perfekt läge i lugnt område nära Bledsjön, endast några få minuters promenad ner till vattnet. Vi fick många bra tips från personalen samt hjälp med att tvätta vilket vi uppskattade.

The staff are fantastic, probably the best part of the stay. Check-in was easy, and they gave us tons of genuinely useful advice on how to enjoy Bled, what to see, and, more importantly, which tourist traps to avoid. The hotel itself is lovely, with lots of wood and a strong connection to nature. It feels peaceful and cosy, exactly what you'd expect in Bled. There are, however, a few things that could be improved: 1. The rooms are (very) tiny. It was genuinely difficult to find a proper place for our luggage. 2. Ventilation is an issue. The room and bathroom remained quite humid and had a damp smell, even with the windows open almost 24/7. 3. The cooling system is the biggest problem in summer. There is no actual AC, but rather a ventilation system with cooling. Unfortunately, it's not powerful enough to properly cool the room. You also can't really leave the windows open because there are no mosquito screens... So you basically have two options: turn the cooling system up to its loudest setting (it's not working on lower settings) and sleep with what sounds like a small aircraft taking off next to you, or turn it down/off and slowly cook yourself. Overall, a beautiful and peaceful hotel with genuinely excellent staff, but the ventilation and cooling definitely need some attention especially during hot summer nights.

So friendly on arrival, really helpful, gave us a map and wrote on it directions and some great recommendations for walking routes and eating and offered us recommendations for breakfast. Hotel was great location for the lake and rooms were clean and tidy, slept great and would definitely recommend.
